I am literally speechless about just how amazing this game is. I mean, Tails and Knuckles, spin dash, box art selection (I prefer Japanese box art because Japanese versions of games are usually better than NA or EU), this game has it all! Thx, Christian Whitehead!

Great port of a classic Sega Genesis title. Thank you for adding Apple TV and MFI support as well. The game plays and sounds great. My only complain is to add the soundcheck/debug option as a default selectable choice rather than keeping it an easter egg.

Ok so i did the secret level select code (tap the sega logo in order and put both your fingers on the screen at the title screen note you can only do this in no save mode) and tried to type in 1 9 9 1 0 6 2 3 but it sent me to parts like 11 please help me

When ever I want to play a song on the select level screen instead of playing the music it just goes to a different number 10 up or down
I think you should get this to something like sonic 2

Its a great game,the controls are good for me,beat the game 12 times,its awesome, im on like death egg zone in Sonic 2 and i cant even get pass that anyway,whats the new update? A game controller match? Whats that?

I know it should be 99 cents but trust me with a controller its freakin awesome. This is way better than the original version, with Bluetooth controller and Bluetooth speaker is an awesome experience.

This is an awesome game. It's packed with nostalgia. I can't even get the first chaos emerald, which I think is amusing lol. But it's still great. I guess I'll just keep trying for that Emerald lol.

This is one of the best ports of the original, and that's saying a lot, because this game is EVERYWHERE. There are so many cool features here, and the graphics look amazing on my iPhone 6.

This game began it all. When Sonic was great and revolutionary because of it's mind blowing speed. Just like the original with a few improvements. Great job SEGA, great job Sonic Team.

Amazing one of the best games out there. I love sonic and they did a great job. Please make sonic 3, knuckle, and sonic 3D. I love the games as a kid and this app reminds me why.

This game is worth your time and money. There's always updates at least once a month. Buying this game will entertain you. Also, even better with Sonic the hedgehog 2

The sound test of the music had some issues, I tried to play it but instead of playing the music, the number goes 1-11 plz fix this bug

Using sound test for debug/super doesn't input the number, instead it goes up or down 10. Fixing this would be fantastic. Thanks.

Used to play this in my childhood but the controls are bit tricky please consider another layout for the jump button

This app now support the iPhone 6+! The game is great and the app now functions perfectly.

I played the crap out of this when I was like 4 and it's still just as good as I remember

I did not know this could be on an iPad, I just play it all the time on a tv!
