Brand new app based on ‘The Essential Parents’ Guide to Primary Maths’ – the much awaited boost for parents especially for those with children in Primary 5 and 6.

About the Essential Parents’ Guide book:

- Equips parents with the latest problem-solving strategies to help them coach their child in Maths.
- Exposes parents to a wide range of exam questions for familiarity which provides the opportunity to help their child prepare for exams.

Preview of the Guide book:

Section 1 looks into the different types of problem solving strategies.
- Brief explanation of each strategy and examples showing parents how to teach the child to apply the strategies are provided.
- At the end of each strategy, parents and children can practise the exercises together to check children’s understanding.
- The icon beside each exercise shows its suitability for lower or upper primary levels.

Section 2 deals with Polya’s 4-step problem-solving approach.
- Understanding these 4 steps will help parents to coach children in thinking systematically through a problem.

Section 3 focuses on the application of the strategies and the problem-solving approach to challenging exam-type problems as well as non-routine problems.
