This Is The Place is your tool to explore the world, a map app designed for humans.

BUS

- Hong Kong and Singapore bus arrival times and route information. Hong Kong supports KMB, Citybus, Green Minibus, MTR Bus, and New Lantao Bus. The app also includes the MTR, Light Rail, and tram route maps for Hong Kong, as well as the MRT route map for Singapore.
- Nearby bus network analysis: Quickly understand the bus network coverage in a specific area and see all the destinations that can be reached without transfers on the map.
- Point-to-point direct route search: The search process does not require an internet connection and can be set to automatically adjust the maximum walking distance until a route is found.
- Arrival time widgets.
- Departure reminders: Set an alarm a few minutes before the bus arrival time. Supports Live Activities, see how many minutes are left until your set departure time on the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen.
- Get off alert: Reminds you to get ready to alight a certain distance before the arrival (can be set). Supports Live Activities, showing the distance to the destination during the journey on the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen.
- Favorite stops along a route: Quickly view the arrival times of nearby favorite routes, arranged by distance.
- Rush Mode: View minutes until the bus arrives and your distance to the stop on Live Activities of the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

MY PLACES

Display your favorite places on the map. Create location notes offline, useful for trip planning.

- Research places: Quickly jump to Google Maps, Tripadvisor, Yelp, Foursquare, OpenRice, Dianping, Xiaohongshu, and Taiwan's iFoodie to gather information and read user reviews. (Some platforms require the respective apps to be installed.)
- Tap on map points of interest (POI): Restaurants, shops, parks, and schools seen on the map are all tappable!
- Choose a suitable map app for navigation, including Apple Maps and Google Maps.
- Destination arrival reminders with Live Activity updates: For example, when taking a taxi, you can see the remaining distance to your destination (straight-line distance) on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. A notification will pop up before reaching a set distance, reminding you to prepare for alighting.
