openHPI is the MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) platform of the German Hasso Plattner Institute for Software Systems Engineering Potsdam. On the virtual campus of openHPI you take part in a worldwide social learning network based on interactive online courses covering different subjects on Information and Communications Technology (ICT): free of cost and without any admission restrictions.

openHPI courses provide e.g. teaching videos, texts, interactive self-tests, and practical homework exercises. The courses enable individual participants to join in a virtual learning community with other participants. Lively discussion forums and virtual learning groups encourage a stimulating exchange of questions and a collaborative learning of the subject.

Willkommen bei openHPI!
openHPI ist die MOOC-Plattform (MOOCs=Massive Open Online Courses) des Potsdamer Hasso-Plattner-Instituts für Softwaresystemtechnik (HPI). Auf dem virtuellen Campus können Sie in einem weltweiten sozialen Lernnetzwerk an interaktiven Onlinekursen zu verschiedenen Themen der Informationstechnologie (IT) teilnehmen und zwar kostenlos und ohne Zulassungsbeschränkungen.

Die openHPI Onlinekurse werden z.B. mithilfe von Lernvideos, Texten, interaktiven Selbsttests und praktischen Aufgaben angeboten. Die Kurse ermöglichen es Lernenden sich in einer großen virtuellen Lerngemeinschaft mit anderen Kursteilnehmern Wissen anzueignen. Lebendige Diskussionsforen und virtuelle Lerngruppen ermöglichen einen regen Austausch von Fragen und das kollaborative Erlernen des Themas.
