Even though there is a few minor flaws like the connection issues to the server (it would sometimes crash at least 3-4 times before you can actually log on), I still gave it 5 star rating. Being a RPG fan but not a RPG mobile game fan, this one seems to the best out of the other bunch. You don't farm or train heroes by setting it up and have to wait like x amount of time. Instead, you start off with three heroes and go through quests which each consist of three waves of enemies and bosses. You would unlock heroes by collecting gems/stones through quests, purchasing through merchants or daily chests (which you get for free but can also purchase more). It won't be long until you would be questing with five heroes which is the maximum of heroes you can quest with. I also think this game is pretty generous with rewards. You will be able accumulate a lot gems and items that will help level your heroes. You can advance in this game without the need to spend real money. However, if you have some change to spare, I would recommend getting the monthly card which is $3 a month and you get 400 gems along with additional 120 gems daily. That's more than the single purchases and it will also unlock the vip perk at level 3 which is a nice benefit. Overall, if you want to try a RPG game that offers more than play than wait time, try this game out.

I've tried many different versions of this same kind of game and this one is BY FAR the best! The graphic are very slick, cute and appealing. There are LOTS of cool heroes to collect and lots of heroic activities to do every day with all sorts of rewards and bonuses.

The different heroes have really diverse powers and stats so you can mix and match them depending on the enemies you face. There are multiple simultaneous progression systems - experience, soul stone collection and fusing gear sets - that increase the power of your heroes.

The game constantly offers awesome, high-value purchase deals and bonuses through the store.

I highly recommend this game for anyone who enjoys this genre!

(For those that have trouble with what looks like lost account data after an update, this has happened to me and the problem was solved by logging in the correct way - for me, instead of logging in via Facebook, I had to login using the manual login at the top right of the login screen which requires email and password. Also, make sure you're on the right server.)

I found Soul Hunters to be a welcome surprise after being disappointed so many times by other games in the genre. Although in-app purchases are available, I have found that just by playing regularly, it is easy enough to get characters, equipment, or anything else you need without ever needing to spend a dime of real money. Playing regularly will not be a problem because Soul Hunters also provides you plenty of energy to play for a relatively long time, unlike many other games that seem to allow you only enough energy to play two or three times, leaving you dissatisfied or forcing you to spend cash on more energy to play longer. Additionally, if you grow tired of the main quest, there are additional side challenges/mini games available so you can switch it up a little bit should you do choose. Overall, the game is excellent, a lot of fun. I found it to also be highly addictive, and without spending any cash I have gained twenty characters so far. This one is a real winner!!!

This game is really fun! And soooo addictive! It's easy to play and is a good way to eat up some time. I'm a casual player and have managed to rank fairly competitively in my server and have a pretty good arsenal of heroes despite never spending any real money. Patience is a virtue in this game. To rank and level up is really easy at first, but as the game progresses it gets more difficult (really like any game would). As far as characters go, new ones are constantly added as monthly heroes and heroes that are only available through a purchase are only that way for a short time before they are available for free to the rest of the players. Don't bother spending money, just be patient and what you want will come to you! The game always updates and the developers listen to their players! A wonderful team!
I will say, some players get very serious about their gameplay stats, but if you're just looking for a good time and an easy interface, this is a game for you!

I will start off by saying I have never felt compelled to write a review on any app. But I really wanted to say some things about this game. The first thing that really drew me towards it was the art. I love the style of whoever drew the characters. They are all so varied and interesting looking. Some are adorable and some are awesome, there's characters that would appeal to everyone. Also the game moves very smoothly, i've been playing for a while now and I've never experienced any lag or anything. There's so much cool animation.

I can't even count the number of games that I've tried from the App Store, but eventually they all get deleted. This is literally the only game that I feel like I want to keep for a long time. Everything about it is fun and there's so much to do. I wish I discovered this game along time ago. Thank you whoever created this game, I love it so much!

I do not understand the negative reviews, as this game has been nothing short of enjoyable and down right addictive. The game provides a mini MMORPG experience with very character centric building process. The game has a large amount of characters and each has their own unique style. Most characters seem to excel in some parts of the game but are weaker in others, very few characters seem to dominate in all aspects.

The game is fluid and it being updated often. Occasionally some bugs creep in, but nothing that has deterred me from the game. I would recommend this to anyone, but understand it is a free to play model, which means there will be those that will spend money to move faster within the game. However, even if you choose not to spend money, the game is fairly forgiving and you still can make steady progress, at least until higher parts of the game.

It is a lvl based game from where you start out with a powerhouse "mob" and work your way to the top. This game reminds me of brave frontier, but has less choice. You can't really put the two together because the mechanics are different, but the two are good games if you want to look important without having friends. If you want to look for something to do so people can look at you while you look at your phone; then this is the game to aid you with that. So far I'm not that far in the game, but like brave frontier this game don't look like it's a hardcore pay to win like most apps. Sure you can buy diamonds to summon, but so far it looks like diamonds can be obtained through quests or going out of your way to promote the game. I hope this review helps people on edge about the game, but if you don't trust me or anyone at-least give the game a try.

Having played a few of the other RPG games like this which their is another good one or 2. They all have the ups and downs. This one isn't as big yet but for a iOS game it is real good. You do need to have some sort of strategy playing it....just as much as the others at least and in some ways more or different kinds. Gameplay is good. Graphics are fun. Characters I think are great for the most part. Wish they would refine stat meanings and give the battles a little attention. They can get a little cluttered to the point where you can't manage it using strategies sometimes. Overall I really do like it. Needs more events/quests of any kind to keep it going and interesting. Do this, this and this and get some many potions, gold, gear, character stones here and there.

It's been a long time since I found a game of this type that I like. Not giving a 5 star rating because of current incentive. Felt like they deserved this rating and a little bit of actual cash (not required). I would have payed more than that for this much enjoyment back in my days of computer and console gaming. Customer service also promptly responds. One thing that I don't like, but hope it works in my favor sometimes, is the foe always unleashes their ultimate attacks early with hardly any build-up time in PVP battles. This is especially maddening in auto mode arenas where it is often possible for much weaker and less armored foes to destroy you unless you really consider your attack to attempt nullifying their abilities.

Well, I've had the game for about a week now, and it's fun. You can spend a long time playing, without too much effort. I bought the $2.99 VIP package (a great deal by the way), and I've basically been able to play as long as I want, sometimes an hour or two, without having to spend ANY money. It's a matter of understanding how the game works, and what you can use that's in your inventory. Yes, it take a lot of time and effort to level up your heroes, but then you have a sense of accomplishment when you actually do. I gave the game five. stars, because like most good F2P models, you can all get to the same place, but spending a couple of bucks to help out the devs gets you there much quicker. All in all a fun game.

So much time and effort was put into this game, and it really shows! The art is incredible, the different mini games within the entire game are entertaining, and the fact that you can play with others or by yourself is another benefit. The creators are helpful, and thankful to all that play. It's not like you HAVE to spend money to actually have fun, which is what a lot of other games do. The creators WANT you to enjoy the game, whether you pay or not, and they apologize when there are updates or other issues causing the game to malfunction (50+ diamonds and 5 soul stones because of a 1 hour update? Hell yeah!). I've gotten 3 other people hooked on this game, and I still recommend it after 5+ months of playing :) ❤️

This game has been tweaked so much since I started playing that it has become awesome! The game is easy to play! Just getting your strategy down is the hard part, because it will continue to change the more you learn about the game. The Devs constantly work to improve their game! When some thing goes wrong they give things to players to thank them for their patience with fixing problems and for maintenance. They do have in game purchases and i recommend getting the monthly membership thing! The best part is the support! You can get an answer within a few hours of reporting a problem or confusion about the game!! Keep up the good work!! With all of the support and attention to players they deserve the 5 stars!

With so much to do you never get bored. Really like the arenas, all the bonus gifts the game makers give you, the mines make it easy to get diamonds so I can blow them on stuff I really want to get or need.
They constantly come out with new characters to play with so your never fighting with the same team to long!
Love the guild too! Bones factory is awesome!! Great people to play with.
Coming from someone who's a huge gamer, (PC,PlayStation,Xbox) I like being able to play a game that keeps me locked in and this game does that!! Recommended highly by this gamer ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️GET IT PLAY IT LOVE IT!!

Admittedly, Soul Hunters plays a lot like many of the similar games in the App Store, which honestly is fine by me because I love those games, and I like the fact that many of the characters are unique compared to other games of the same genre. A lot of people complain when games seem to "copy" each other, but I say if you have a good thing going why change it? If it ain't broke, why fix it?
Bottom line is it's a solid game with good graphics and, unlike other games in its genre, it actually has a story line. I've only been playing it for a few weeks but it has quickly become one of my favorites. I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Heroes Charge or We Heroes.

If your in to the RPG type games this is the game for you! But if your not in to games that have upgrades, skills, levels, guilds, then this is not the game for you. But seriously this game has a lot of potential and people do not need to spend their money on this game to proceed further, in about three days I'm in the top four hundreds, world wide without even trying in the game. Also you might get to a point were you need lots of equipment to proceed but they have a store were everything is cheap and can be used to upgrade faster. Hopefully this review helped you about this game and maybe you could pick this game up and enjoy your experience playing this awesome game!

It seems as though all of the one star reviews for this game are because of the loss of accounts which I personally believe is inexcusable on the part of the developers. However, with the rampant indignation on the review page, it is clear that these people loved the game. Why would you be so upset about losing your account on a crappy game?
This game is money. Best freemium style game I've ever played and I can't stop.

With that said, developers, please restore the accounts of those whom you have screwed over. I just pray that I don't lose my account as well. It would be truly devastating. Fix this issue, and this could be one of the greatest strat rpgs ever.

I've been playing for about two months now, and I'm pretty much addicted. This is the only freemium game I play. Yes, you can spend your way into the poor house if you have no self-control, but you don't have to. You can progress through the game quite nicely with a monthly $3 IAP that gives you a daily stipend of in-game currency. This amount is plenty to keep you going in the game. You also earn this currency through achievements and progressing. If you can build a good set of heroes with the right mix of abilities, you can earn a lot of in-game currency from the PvP arenas. If you have any minute amount of self-control, I highly recommend this game.

Been playing a year or two and the game is super addictive and it's a thrill when you win a tough battle. Character unlocks make the game new and exciting and the new legendary missions added new depth to old Characters. I keep wanting to see what I can unlock next!

I had update problems too, but was able to remedy them (iOS9).
If you use the forum and follow the links: there are tutorials to fix the login issues, but yes: it was incredibly stressful because I've spent a bit in-game over time.

I log in with my email because the Facebook and iTunes log ins were glitchy for me. I had to use customer service once or twice early on and now that works for me.

I originally downloaded this game to get credits for another app, but decided to play it anyways, and I am so glad I did! It's a waste of my data when I'm not at home, but I still enjoy playing. Other people have mentioned that the stamina is a huge issue and you can't play long without it, but you can probably play the game for at least 20 minutes before running into the problem. Then you do something else for a while and come back, and there's your stamina again. I mostly enjoy this game because I quit playing World of Warcraft about two years ago, and this reminds me a little of it, though this one is free. This game is definitely worth checking out.

This game is amazing!! It's simple yet very challenging. It has many features that allows players to mix and match heroes with different stats to create the best team possible. Also, the amount of time and effort needed to level up your heroes and your party makes the game more challenging. It's daily tasks, quests, special events, and numerous heroes makes the game fun and exciting to play on a daily basis. It doesn't require a lot of the players' attention and its easy to gather the necessary items and extra items to help players along the way. It's a very well balanced game and this makes it a MUST HAVE if you're into action/adventure type RPGs!
