The reason you can't upgrade in the app (or downgrade) is because of the legal requirements you must weather read or be read on the phone . If you downgrade movie for instance did you know you lose the recordings as well when the channels go? Did you know that is one of the biggest complaints when people downgrade or upgrade without listening or reading the small print? Hence why it won't ever be available in an app.

But the 2nd biggest reason to complain is not being able to log in and see the bill so getting text alerts now remove half the 'I'm just calling to check my bill' call types for Sky.

It's handy and has been built on the feedback (within abilities that can function without calling up)

As a customer of Sky, I find this app to be an absolute life-saver. I can manage my entire account in the palm of my hand, the new messaging feature added in a recent update has been fantastic for me in the times I've needed to contact Sky, and haven't had the time to give them a call, I can get right through to an expert who's there to help with whatever query I have for Sky! Besides that, keeping an eye on my offers is a unique twist that's hassle free and managing my monthly billing for my service is amazing. If you're a customer of Sky, you'll definitely find this to be a must-have.

I really like that fact that you can have a one to one chat with an agent on the message service and I am able to leave the chat to carry on with my day to day activities to then come back to the chat to carry on the conversation. It is such a simple idea but it is so effective. The rest of the app is really simple and easy to use, I would recommend the app to any sky customer.

I have enjoyed the features with the myskyapp and the customer advisors are very keen to help you with you're enquiries and I have not had any issues with sky ever before because keep in mind I am a regular sky customer I have been a sky television customer for near enough 5 years it is almost getting to 6 years. I am a well proud customer honestly I really am.

Finally a perfect service from a media company, couldn't ask for more, everything all in one place, easy to use and clear to understand. And the messaging feature that knocks competitors out of the park! Was with talk talk prior to sky and it would bring me to tears trying to resolve my issues, sky has been a blessing!

Works well, simple layout, easy to use, everything you need is included. Bill is broken down, bill can be paid on the app. Online chat is good. Has a 'fix a problem' page which is helpful. Good app 5 stars

What an outstanding service as per usual I'm never disappointed although would be great to see when offers are are being offered that these are applied correctly instead of just a couple of months

Wow, what a breath of fresh air. Great to see we are moving with the times. There are great features on the new app which makes it so much easier to manage your account. Fantastic!!

Clear and concise layout of bills. Ability to add/change packages. Also the fix a problem section is pretty good.

Just upgraded to the new skyQ great service and now you can take your old package with you is great!!
