This is a well thought out app. It has been very handy and useful. I have submitted a report to support for a couple of very minor observations that don't affect the usability of this app.

The app logs your child's driving sessions, and allows you to email and print the logs for the DMV. Much easier than handwriting a hundred different entries to make sure you get to your minimum time.

This app logs the time, mileage, and time of day (for those states which require night driving) and shows a bar graph of progress toward the minimums. It also allows you to add weather and road type before finalizing the drive (nice to haves).

Other than the couple of items I sent, don't touch a thing. Drives me nuts when developers break a good thing while trying to add the latest and greatest.

Whether you like Ford or not, they've really taken a proactive approach to teen driving issues in the US. This app is but one facet of their program.

I just got a permit and the Secretary of State gives you this book when you get your permit on things a parent needs to do and stuff like that. It also contains the log for parents to track their driving hours manually on paper, but that's annoying and inefficient. The secretary (as well as the front page of the book) recommended the app and said to download it. All you do is click start drive and boom. It tracks everything to the time, weather, day/night, how far you drove, and more. If you forgot to start it before you started driving, you can manually enter in the data easily. Just got it today and no crashes or anything as other reviews said earlier in the year, but time will tell. Even if it crashes, it's still worth it!

Just out of the NC DMV with a new learners permit & in the parent book from the DMV, I read about Road Ready app. I love it already! With all the things you have to watch supervising a new driver, it takes the worry out of remembering to log every drive.
It logs drive time, maps it, records weather conditions, and keeps track of day and night time driving. In the menu, you can access the log any time & email it to your self and/or print it off.
I also love that both Mom & Dad can have the app on our phones & it logs to the same account for that student driver whenever we switch off supervising duty. I love anything that simplifies my life!

As opposed to the alternative of paper and pen, I love this.

I had two kids on permits overlapping. This was super easy to use. I do wish it worked better when drove in areas of no cell coverage. But all in all it was great.

Especially nice that Vermont DMV accepts the printed log in place of the actual DMV form. Sadly my kids high school required we complete a paper based log to satisfy their needs clearly not the fault of the app in any way, just saying.

Saw this app advertised in a book in the North Carolina drivers license office. Picked it up, installed it and it makes tracking driving hours easier than ever. We installed it on my wife's phone Andy new drivers phone, so we can all track it. My son enters the time, gaining a little responsibility as a driver, and is excited to track it. Much better on the conscience than trying to remember a drive or just making it up, as I have heard other folks do.

When I learned that I needed to document our son's driving while he had his learner's permit I assumed that was going to be an impossible task. RoadReady has made it really easy to meet that requirement. He likes to use the app and usually reminds me to record his drives. We get a weekly email with all the drives of that week. It's a huge help. Really glad to have found it early in learner's permit driving era!

I was VERY please to find this app as I enter into the journey of teaching my 16-year old daughter how to drive safely. The book and program are very helpful, and this app makes it much easier to record the driving sessions with notes, and count our time, as we trend to ward achieving the total time goal. Very easy to use and great to have.
