My new NUVI was slow to show traffic information and slowdowns. It took a long time to get an FM signal and show high traffic on my route. It never showed icons with traffic problems. With the smart link traffic info shows up in the NUVI screen almost instantaneously. Traffic delays are shown as well as icons. The weather map shows up too. It's not as good as my radio and TV station weather apps but they work. For me at least this app fixes a problem with the NUVI. Well worth the money for the traffic info alone.

I use it in conjunction with a 2597 and have the live traffic also and driving for a living in NYC it has worked out very well for me. It's not perfect but very close. The only area that I see can use help is finding address in the app so you can beam it to the GPS. It seems the GPS has a better data base then the app itself which is weird because the app has a live internet connection other then that it works great well worth the money.

Works fine on iPhone 6 with Dezl 570lmt. One problem for me))): system can searching only local address....Can you do more search options on next update ( USA and Canada).

Great app, super convenient, BUT unless you enter an address in your contact, and lunch it from there, the address search is LIMITED to nearby locations only...

I love this using the garmin 2597. Could not be happier. So convenient to choose from contact list on iPhone.

Works great with the ios9 update.
