I downloaded the app probably when it just came out on the App Store and I have to say it's amazing but I would strongly suggest that anyone that downloads the new update to go through the tutorial in the beginning to get familiar with what's new and where the old stuff still is. Firstly the app looks nothing like the Barclays app as others have said secondly it's extremely useful and the fact that you can apply for new accounts is great, transferring money has never been easier and clearer so it's really difficult to make mistakes specially when you have many employees but I would suggest two things split view for iPad and some forced touch features for the iPhone6s be honest it's what a banking app should be it's not complicated and I think people that are not familiar with online banking this would make their life a lot easier specially with the touch ID being implement you don't have to keep putting your passcode.

Great app - easy to use & looks much better than the old app. Love that you can now log in with Touch ID, so much easier than having to remember your pass number every time.
I have two suggestions for future updates:
Firstly being able to add new payees on the app rather than having to log on to the internet bank (from the other reviews on the App Store it seems quite a few people want this feature too).
Secondly could we have a grand total of all money in accounts - I have 6 accounts with nationwide (saving,ISA, flexaccount) so it would be quite helpful to see how much money I have in total rather than having to add up each account total separately

I really, really like this app; simple to use and shows you the information you need to see.

If there was one thing I'd like to add/change is for the ability to add new payees or to make a payment to a new account without having to log in to the internet banking site - that would be my only suggestion.

All in all, I would recommend anyone who uses Nationwide Building Society to download this application.

As someone who has used the app for a really long time I find it's becoming essential. More flexible and also faster which is great.

I would love to see it show mortgage projections. I.e. With my current payments what does my actual term look like. And on my loan which does not show the interest I am charged monthly.

Banking features are great but Touch ID has stopped working since the last update. Tried turning the setting off and on but app freezes when turning setting back on. Tried deleting app and re-installing but cannot activate setting as app still freezes.
UPDATE restarting phone fixed problem.

Was the best thing I had for my on line banking but I think it's taking about to long to fix very disappointing I like the fact I could keep a track of my money without going to a cash point or bank what do I do now feel a bit lost to be fair need it back

Since the update the app is a lot easier to use. With touch id and a new look. Well done nationwide.

Wish they had an add payee in the app rather than having to use safari.

Also the ability to change the reference when paying someone. That would be helpful.

Great App, love the latest updates, keep up the good work . Only wish I could add a new payee through it without need for login via safari. Also be great to be able to change payee reference (some payees need invoice number on payment).

Been using this app for sometime and with every update it just gets better!
The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to look at 'upcoming payments' as you can with the main website.
Apart from that, keep up the good work!

Love this App easy to use quick access to balance. Even for an oldie like me it's so simple to use. I would like to see an update link to give the peace of mind it is always up to date.

I choose to use this over their website, it's so much easier for basic functions like checking balance ant transferring between accounts. Would be great to have full functionality, but it's an excellent start!

I personally think this is the best bank app out there. User friendly more options to do with your accounts. I use Natwest Barclays TSB Lloyds and Halifax and this is by far is the best app!

If only all banking apps were like this one. With my other bank I have to use a code generator dongle. That defeats the object of having a mobile app! Well done Nationwide devs!

Really rate this highly! I've had no problems using it at all, easy to navigate and move money, check balances, what else do you need! Brill

A great App but one aspect which appears to be lacking is the ability to top up my mobile phone. I have to use my NatWest app to do this.

Be great when you can set up a payment to someone new and handy to change my payment reference like you can with lloyds. Cheers

It keeps getting better, I use it every day. I would like to see auto update so I know I have the latest version.
