Love this App, I am presently looking for a car, Thanks to this app, 3 cars I found had there miles rolled back, people selling there car as original owner, found out 3 previous owners to the car.
Found Accident's.
I can not believe how so many people try and rip you off with false info. Also found one car that had ben supposedly had a no drive permi, meaning they did not have to pay registration. But there was a ticket, if I had bought the car, I would of paid a extra 500 for back fees.
This has really been a invaluable tool. I can not praise this enough

Work very effectively. Duh, to actually do a CarFax, it cost money.

Buyer beware. CarFax can be a waste of money though. I see a lot of cars that have been totaled and will never show up on a car fax. If the owner is smart, he/she will go get there car fixed quick under the radar and resell at a good value, that way there cars value doesn't dump in half the value. But this all depends on how bad the accident is compared to the value of the car in the first place.

This app works great for me though, because I know the real use of it.

I consider CarFax money well spent for the wealth of information I had at my disposal during my auto search. If it is within your power to know the history of any vehicle your considering purchasing and you choose not to use it, you are being ignorant on purpose and deserve to be taken to the cleaners. Don't EVER take the word of a salesman, he's there to sell ... PERIOD . Do your homework, CarFax makes it so easy. Thank you for a great service !

It need some fixes here there but other than than its very good very helpful and you don't have to go to the trouble of looking the carfax all the time this its has it right there it gives you very helpful history before you make any decision a lot varieties of cars and many options so you choose the car that you are looking for, i will recommend this app to anyone that is shopping before buying.

People, Carfax is not free to consumers unless you go to a dealer. Once you pay for the package you want, this app works perfectly for your account. It's great to have if you're buying from an individual, you get all kinds of details by running the plate or VIN.

If you're buying from a dealer then just ask them to give you the Carfax, just like in the commercials.

We were shopping for a car for our son when we encountered a car with an odometer reading of 160,000. It obviously had problems, yet the seller swore it was a good car. We checked the Car Fax and found it had a last reported odometer reading of over 260,000. That could have been a costly mistake! This app is a must have when shopping for a used car.

Carfax has always helped me make the right decision when it came to buying or selling a car. I love that I can now make use of this powerful tool without having to be at my desk. I really like the vin scanning and license plate ways of getting a report. I'm not a fan of the ads on the Carfax Reports that I pay for, however.

Very simple to use and allows me to do my research easier and more efficient without having to leave home. I combine using this app and KBB app, I advise others to do the same and you'll be unstoppable when it comes to buying your first car. I like no hassle, this makes it very easy to know I'm getting what I want.

I will not buy a used car without a CarFax Report. It is priceless to find a 1-Owner car, with documented oil changes, locally owned and serviced, and no accidents.

Just discovered the power of the Car Fax app to screen for used cars much faster by narrowing down the field by meeting my criteria above!!!

If you searching for GOOD used car, this is the place to start! Only, if there was a search option for cars with a specific feature. For example, I'd like for my next car to have Head-up Display. And would be nice to be able to search all makes of cars that have this feature. Otherwise, LOVE this app!

This app saved me thousands. You can't imagine how many cars odometers were tampered with and carfax put them on the spot.

Ok awesome app. Definitely helped us while we were looking for used cars. Of course it isn't free idiots. The app is free but the service isn't. When has carfax (or any other reliable report) ever been free?? Carfax is not 100% accurate so be weary of where and who you purchase the car from.

Buying a used car is sometimes scary. Sales people will tell you what you want to here and leave out information. Carfax fills in that info to make you feel more comfortable.
Carfax is not perfect but it's really good. I have used it for several cars and have not been disappointed.

I recently tried four or five car finder apps and additional car finder websites. This one comes in a close second to Car Gurus. Car Gurus has a bigger database and there are more search options. However, Car Fox is more user-friendly and still has a decent database.

Well designed app! Works well. I'm finding all sorts of cars in my area, all with free Carfax info. I will add that I purchased a used car via this app and so far I have been pleased with the car and the dealer that the app referred me too.

It's so great to see a cars history when you are looking to buy. It helps spot any potential issues such as recalls etc. I love how all reports pulled and ability to pull new ones are an option with this app. Would recommend to others.

I've tried many different used car apps and this is the only one that I'm comfortable using. Knowing that there is a service report listed under the car makes it so much easier to find a used car that is a good fit for me.

I tried a bunch of apps out... This one worked the best for me... I don't write a lot of app reviews but figured I would because this one's user interface was substantially better than most.... Works well on iPad
