Phenomenal app. Highly diverse reads, and conscious of those strapped for time, but still looking to stay informed (perfect for on-the-go). Only technical issue I'm experiencing is the inability to share articles via message (note I'm using an iPhone 5 that runs on iOS 7.1.2 with the most recent update). Really disruptive for user engagement. Other than that, The Daily Beast is a resource about as baller as T.J. Henderson getting wasted and throwing a party while Floyd is out of town on business, and despite wavering from Marcus and Yvette.

The app landscape of news/journalism is littered with awful experiences. This app isn't one of them. It placed reading and relevancy first. It's refreshingly simple and intuitive. Articles appear instantly upon tap or swipe. When it comes to delivering intended functionality, this app satisfies. It's not over designed. It's smart in its focus on minimalism. Kudos for creating something innovative yet intuitive. This is a positive step forward. One that I hope other publishers admire and aspire to themselves.

The Daily Beast has done a great job creating an app that makes their articles accessible and digestible. There is always a lot of content available with the Daily Beast and now there is a slick way to quickly find the articles that interest you, track what you've read, learn what you like to read, etc. It's great content and interface put together. Highly recommend to anyone who loves consuming interesting and thought provoking news content!

I really (really) like this app. When I have a few minutes to spare, I can easily find some interesting articles to read. The "swipe to skip" feature is really cool... I can just hide the articles that don't look interesting to me. (I now find that I want other apps and sites to work the same way).

Oh, and the Daily Beast articles are as interesting, topical and provocative as ever.

Everything loads quickly and the animations are smooth. The sharing/etc features are easy to access, yet don't get in your way. That's a big win that a lot of other news apps don't have: putting The content first. The content is shown front and center, with everything else in the design getting out of your way. Topic following is a neat feature that I imagine I'll get good use out of. Highly recommended!

As a designer I get a kick out of the streamlined clever reading experience. I like the personal stats and the ability to follow topics and writers. Nudges are helpful and little UI bells and whistles make it cooler. This app used to be awfully slow but it seems pretty fast now.

After endless waits for this app to load, I was about to throw in the towel. I tried deleting it and reloading and presto! It works.

Love the contents, of course.

The latest update speeds up the startup significantly, removing my only complaint about this app. I wish more news apps were this well designed.

It seems to be harder to skip articles by accident and thus it has improved. The articles are interesting, most importantly.

I've had this app for what seems like years and it never worked... The last update finally did the trick! Thanks
