I was really depressed so I went to McDonald's because were not. I decided that the best way to commit suicide with the stop myself in the throat with a straw. But before I was able to do that I got a happy meal and it worked it made me happy! The toy inside was an Angry Birds bomb bird and the instruction said to download the app so I did. It took like 11 hours to download, and even more time for the game itself to load. By this time the cops were there and they took me off the bridge. Then they took me to the police office and they gave me my phone and said play the Mcplay app. So I did. I played for an hour and then two and then 12. And then I looked up and I saw who I now know would be my husband, officer McCray. He and I are engaged to be married on November 24, 2020, 4 days after I graduate high school. Our kids, Jeffrey and Harrison are now 11 and 14. And even though they're both genders, we love them dearly. But if anybody asks no we did not kill Jeffery. Thank you for allowing me to share my story, I hope you find much happiness in this game, I know I did.

This app is very cool. Just got to be in bright light, no shadows. When scanning the toy must fit in the silhouette shown on the iPad. The bathroom works great if not in the bathroom then make sure I face the Toy towards the light (like taking a picture outside on a sunny day). Be sure to remove everything else off the table or countertop, just on the side of caution. Don't hold the iPad with your hands alone use the support of the furniture around you to keep the iPad super steady, because you might have to hold the iPad lower than the table since the iPad camera is not the same level as the toy will be on the surface. REMEMBER NO SHADOWS ON OR AROUND THE TOY. Me and my six-year-old have been successful with using the My Little Ponies(including Twilight Sparkle) and the Shopkins.. We haven't tried the others yet. The games are, I must confess. We take turns playing

My daughter loves this app and its quickly become her favorite part of eating at mcdonald and getting the new toy that comes out, however we have unlocked all the beannie babys games and have not been able to download or play them and it just freezes my phone till I close the app, I have sent them a message about this so I hope it's something that can be resolved since it really upset her and she always asks if it's fixed yet lol, thanks mcdonalds really enjoy all the latests games an the way you control them the new penguin game has a very fun whole body movement to control it has my kid spinning in circles in search of the Penguins, she also loves the little books section and I find myself playing happy ball and really enjoy the ghost surfer game lol

I downloaded this for my kiddo because she had a sweetheart toy. I could not scan the toy though because it has updated to spongebob movie. I wish there was a way this app could keep previous toys to scan. I missed the cut off date but Valentines Day is tomorrow so I guess I could see why it was a cut off day. Overall it is fun and my daughter loves the games. We don't get happy meals often so I will only download the app when she gets one.

Ok I figured out how to scan other toys and the games are loading fine and are really fun! I will add another star.

I explained that McDonald's needs to update the app, even though they just did. Thankfully my son understood this by stating,"mcplay failed!" Well played little guy. UPDATE THE APP CORRECTLY! Won't you think of the children?! PLEASE?

What a pleasant surprise. This works! My nephew and son had a blast with this app during a recent snow day (or should I say cold day?) We had stopped at McDonalds to get lunch and let out some energy (there is only so much to keep kids occupied with during unplanned days off). This app ended up being an experience for the whole family! Scan the cups and play. Nice job, McDonalds!

Well, I almost didn't even download the game because of all the reviews. However, I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I think my kids are going to have a lot of fun with it and I had absolutely no problems scanning the two toys from my kids happy meals. Now, I can't speak about losing past games since we just downloaded the game, but as new players, we've had zero problems.

This app is amazing!! Sure people might have a hard time scanning you just have to know the trick... You have to hold the toy in you hand and then have the face facing the camera! This app has a lot of good games provided for people!

Just because people sometimes have hard times scanning it doesn't mean you have to wright mean review just because your mad!

My daughter loves to scan her Happy Meal toys and unlock "surprises." Games are fun for both kids and parents (I'll play while my little ones run crazy at the PlayPlace). I haven't had much issue scanning like other reviewers. Could just be that devices being used by kids are antiquated hand-me-downs. *shrug*

Initially I wrote a review with poor ratings because the app would not work but we found out that he had a defective toy. After attempting to a use a different toy to scan, my son was finally able to play the Transylvania game. He loves it. He is only four years old and it is simple enough for him to play.

I thought it was interesting McDonald's had an app for kids. Providing kids with something different and fun along with toys from the happy meals. My 8 year old niece absolutely loves it and can't wait for more levels. We made it a competition to see who can complete each level the fastest.

Every time I tried to scan the program crashed. After uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work ... I found the solution. I went to settings and scrolled down until I found McPlay. I had somehow disabled camera access. Once I turned the camera access on the program worked.

I have an iPad 2nd generation and I have a pretty bad camera. In less than 10 seconds the app scanned my shopkin and I played and it was extremely fun! Do not listen to the other reviews! They didn't do something right. I had no problems with this app! Get it now!

I am not sure the level of education or the common sense that these other reviews have but I used MEL and it loaded in one time. You have to use a good light and line up the face in the app. That simple. If you can't do this then you should never drive or reproduce.

I ❤️❤️ this app! I especially ❤️ it because it's The Secret Life of Pets (which is amazing btw)! I didn't get it the 1st time but, I went on settings and it turns out.... I turned the camera off! I turned it back on and I played all night!

I love the game!

I was a little worried to try this app with all of the bad reviews, but my kids really wanted to scan their toys. Both scanned with no problems. The games were cute... My 6 year old and 2 year old had fun playing them together!

Noticing how many of the reviews say "Won't Scan Toys", I thought it would be problematic. However, it works, you just need the right lighting and a white table. Also remember to choose the correct toy. Running 8.4 on a 6 Plus.

this app changed my life. I fell into depression when my cat died, and this app saved my life. without it, I would be dust. also, this app is the most triggering app of my life. I rate it 10/10

I love this app! At first I thought I wouldn't like it but I fell in love with this app!! If your reading this before you get it, you totally should download it!! ❤️
