NOT Pay to Win!

Like most "freemium" games on the market, yes, you can buy in-game currency with actual real-life money. However, there is no form of currency in the game that you can not gain through normal, casual play. Plus, the stamina is regained quickly enough that I can play for hours non-stop. My characters are over level 30, and I haven't been tempted to spend a cent. I've learned to ignore ads and banners, so all I see when I play is a great game that combines some of the best mechanics from early Kairosoft endeavors and the collectibility of Beastie Bay. Love the in-game photo album!
