This is NOT just a word game. This is NOT just a tile puzzler. Both of those are b.o.r.i.n.g. by themselves. This game is BOTH of those combined! Easy to learn. Hours and hours of play. Challenges are actually that...challenges. BUT it is completely enjoyable every step of the way. And none of the stages are unbeatable. Some are just a little more tricky than others. Making you think a little bit harder and finding longer words. The Graphics are great, the Music/SFX are awesome and the Collectible Characters are adorable! My favorite is DECOLA! Even when I lose, Im STILL enjoying myself and having fun. I have already spent a couple bucks to purchase a couple extra Powerups, and I plan on throwing in a couple more $. Don't mind spending some pennies on a game I honestly enjoy this much. You don't NEED to spend ANY money tho...thats one of the great things. The Devs are very generous as your Powerups replenish themselves in 24 hrs. Example: Used my GEM Powerup today...but by tomorrow I will have 1 free. There are also Daily Login Rewards that include Powerups. I didnt know what to make of this game after I downloaded after seeing it featured on the Apple Store...but I was very pleasantly surprised. MIGHT be a little too hard for children but teens will do just fine. Its actually pretty educational and this would be one of the few apps I would recommend to parents. Beware parents: you might like this game even more than your kid does! Enjoy!

I just can't say enough great things about this game! First off it's a (combo) match & word game.....I love that! Every level has different objectives which is great because it never gets boring. It's colorful, awesome graphics are worth 5 stars! Im an adult & I play this daily, it's that good! It is a must have for all ages! If it isn't free, it's cheap and there are NO ads or interruptions. Great bonuses too if you sign in daily! I haven't had even one complaint in the 4 months playing this game! I've tried thousands of games of all kinds....as far as word games or matching gem games, this is the BEST of both worlds and has TONS of levels, every one better than the next! I would give ten stars if I could. This is a game that will never get deleted! Have fun, I know you are going to love it as much as I do!

I'm not one to typically play strategy games, but I really enjoy this one. I like how they've combined the fun of popular games, like CandyCrush or Bejeweled, with the added challenge of having to spell out words! I initially downloaded this game along with a few others as a way to stay busy on a transatlantic flight, but ever since our plane went down and was consumed by a rabid sea monster, I've found myself wasting away the hours saving the Languinis. It keeps me going. I don't know how long we'll be in this creature's belly, we've lost about half the people we started with - my wife and sister included, but being able to keep my mind thinking of new words to use helps me hold on for just one more day. Eventually I'll run out of power, but I'm hoping we are digested before that happens.

It is good clean & educational fun.
How smart are you? Can you spell a word with so many letters or with a particular letter in it WITH only so many moves?
The characters are A+++ dorable (especially in their Christmas 'suits') the graphics are awesome love the music - combined it keeps me coming back!!
I previously had a complaint regarding how the set up to get tokens was ridiculous however, I'm happy to write, the inclusion of many 'free' opportunities to earn tokens is awesome. This just makes me wanna do better and push the limits of what I'm capable of...

I play WWF and Ruzzle/Ruzzle Adventure cuz I enjoy playing word games. I'm only about 10 levels in, but this definitely seems like a word game worth playing. The variations available with regard to level completion requirements, the variety of power-ups, and the sheer challenge of creating the longest possible word you can without time limits is very engrossing. As someone who doesn't typically write reviews for any game, I give this game a verbosely enthusiastic two thumbs up! ;-)

This charming game combines left brain analytics with right brain creativity. The challenges in the sagaesque design grow more difficult as the game progresses, but levels are never unreasonable to complete. The beautiful graphics and the creative narratives for the Languinis lend to the enjoyment of the game. And it doesn't hurt that the sound fx encourage your progress and the developers reward consistent play with free power ups!

After level 165, the end-of-the-game animation causes the game to "get stuck" on the final score graphic. Also, if I play against Phoenix, after the game ends, every sun lights up and remains lit until a lower game level is replayed. Also, no matter how often I score three Suns on level 42, it will revert to two suns, and that is very irritating. Otherwise, it's a fun game. The upgraded graphics for the "retina" screen looks good.

I actually love this game. It's fun and challenging. My only problem is they try to make you pay here and there. It's originally free but they are definitely trying to get money from you (can't really blame them). It's not often so it doesn't bother me. Right now I'm going through the "you can't play for 24 hours unless you pay" period. Weird. I'm at level 41, I think, so I got to play a long time. Just have to wait...

Get busy you little Languinis developers! I can't wait for new levels! You hit the ball out of the park with this great app! I was down for the count this summer w a Lyme bite. Your little guys cheered me up every time I logged on. Thank you for that. I don't know who draws your characters but they should get a big raise! They bring a smile to my face every time I log on....keep up the great work!

I thought that this was going to be one of my favorite games until you took away the free spin every 30 minutes. So I get 2 free spins every day instead of the one daily and the one every 30 minutes. I was playing the game frequently every day until I didn't get the free spin every 30 minutes. I would have given five stars if you didn't change the free spin every 30 minutes to only once a day.

Do yourself a solid and get this fantastic game NOW! I'm an avid gamer across many platforms and years - and this game is phenomenal in every way! Really fun sounds, with a perfect blend of word & match play. Super smooth graphics and cute characters who get excited and yell cool stuff like "Boombala"! ... and if u leave notifications on you will hear lil whispers telling you it's time to play.

Love this game it makes you think! I don't want to spend tons of money so it becomes harder for me which I love because it's more challenging to win & many times I have to use a dictionary (I have one on my iPad) so I have to learn new words to win the game! Once you play you don't want to stop cause you win cool characters & the game continues on with different challenges as you progress!

I don't usually give reviews, but this game is so much fun. The graphics and music are amazing. It is challenging as well as fun. I have to warn you though, it is very addictive, I started playing and before I knew it an hour had passed by. If you like scrabble and match 3 games you will love this one as much as I do. Don't miss out on the fun, try this one, you will be glad you did.

Languinis is a terrific game that is fun, challenging, accessible, and low-guilt because you can feel your brain gains. I greatly enjoy playing and getting the sweet animated plaudits of success. I find myself Googling lots of words and continuously refreshing and improving my vocabulary. Along with Sudoku, this game is my go-to for an enjoyable yet restful change of pace. Recommended!

This is a great game!!! Not only is it a match 3, but also requires brain work so provides some challenge. I have a 4S IPhone and received a warning at the beginning that it was not optimized for the 4S and may freeze up. I decided to try it anyway and have had no problems thus far. The graphics are awesome. If you like word games with match 3 strategy, this is the game for you!!!

And this is it! Love the unique combination of wordplay and puzzle play. It's a thinking game and the progression is subtle, but challenging, I've completed to Level 195 and never had that frustrating experience of being out of lives or not being able to pass a level after a few tries, but I also never got bored or felt it was "too easy." Love how they continually release new levels!

I Really Live this game! It is different from other "word" games. I have been surprised at how much my two boys enjoy playing it too......BUT....now since the latest update I can't even open the app up! We sure hope that it gets fixed SOON so we can get back to playing.......VERY Frustrating (especially since now we will have to start over with the "daily prize giveaway" portion)

Lamguinis is the best game...a mix of candy crush and book worm with great challenges. It's my favorite game on my phone! Customer service is awesome. I had an issue with the game, emailed them about it and they followed up for a week gathering information, and worked really hard to fix it. Thankfully, the issue had been solved, and I'm a really happy languini player!

I almost never play games on my phone or iPad but I have REALLY enjoyed playing this game! At first, I was not paying enough attention to the objectives and kept failing certain levels. I have improved my technique in a short time period so I know that you can succeed at this game! I love the challenge of the varying levels and the fact that the game is a word game!

I've been playing this game for several months now and absolutely love it. Beyond that, I contacted the support team when the recent addition of levels resulted in the game being unplayable (cannot choose levels), and they were incredibly kind and friendly and personable. I appreciated their attitude. Thanks for being such a great team with such a great product!
