I have been wanting to transfer monies between my two bank accounts but one of them is a stinker about it. I just transferred monies between two accounts in less than five minutes including downloading and setting up. Just for fun I send a request for $5 to my wife in less than a minute but she is saying her phone is dead. Likely story. Thank you Square for leading the way. I hate traditional banks for what they did to our economy in 2009. Hooray to new banking concepts like Square.

I think I talk to everyone who will listen about how awesome this app is. It's made so many aspects of my life easier. I use it to pay my rent, my boyfriend and I use it to easily split expenses and I use it all the time at work for group lunches. There are a few features I wish it had like the ability to tag expenses or search your transactions. A built in calculator would be pretty great too. But to be honest, even without those features, I'm still going to use happily and constantly.

I've used cash to transfer money to my roommate for stuff we split, and it's amazing. She gets the money instantly! Many services like PayPal usually take 3 to 5 days for transfers and this is the only service that I know that is instant from your phone. I didn't actually think there were any fees, but from reading other reviews I saw that it's 1% which really is not horrible at all. I didn't even know that that money was gone actually! Definitely a financial app to check out.

All my friends hate technology but I showed this to one of them and now they all love it and it's the main way my friends and I pay each other for meals and little house expenses. It's sooooooo easy and intuitive and they don't take a cent of your money.

Devs: There is a small bug though, if someone requests cash from me and then in the payment screen I try and use dictation to label what the payment is - the app instantly crashes! Super stable other then that though.

I keep expecting the process to be more complex or there to be some catch. There isn't, unless you count that your friends have to use the same app. Nah, not really a catch.

This makes those dinners out and slit second money binds so much easier. No more stressing about how everyone pitches in for that pizza or the expensive gift for someone.

Get it and you'll save so much time taking cash out, shuffling money, and trying to plan how paying for something will work.

Square Cash has long been the best peer-to-peer payment app. It's simple, beautiful, and serves its purpose. I love how I can simply give absolutely anyone my cashtag and they can pay me.

The most requested feature I have is to allow for recurring payments. There are several bills that I split with friends and roommates. It would be nice to have some sort of system for recurring payments so that these payments wouldn't have to be remembered and would never be late!

What a fantastic app. It couldn't be easier to use. It really couldn't. I've used it to send and receive payment locally and thousands of miles away. It beats the USPS every time!
Throw in the thumbprint security on IOS in lieu of yet another PIN and you get five stars. Ability to request payment is awesome and it's simple for people to sign up. As an added bonus, you needn't wait a couple of days for funds to be transferred to PayPal before you get your money.

This app makes it so easy to send money anywhere. My son is in the military and the United States thinks that their soldiers and their families can live on $2000/month. When they need help or I want to send them money so they can buy something for themselves or even just to have a meal out, I love that I can send them the money instantly and without a fee. No more Western Union for me! Thanks for this app. It definitely puts this military mom's mind at ease.

Yes the Chase Mobile app is great.... But you need to have chase! Or PayPal app is great too., but not everyone has a paypal account set up. Well the Cash app works for everyone. It doesn't matter what bank you use, and unlike PayPal it goes right into your account. You don't have to go into your PayPal account and transfer money to and from the account, it's your bank account. Send someone money and it instantly goes into their account. It's easy and convenient.

I like using this APP for smaller purchases under $100... will opt for CHASE QUICK PAY on bigger items. The CASH APP works VERY well.. So far I don't see any strange issues at all .. ZERO (after only a few months or so now).. but will delete it if I do right away.. it's been so nice to have this APP in-that a friend of mine kept paying me in CASH.. Well no more of handling all that dirty money..and then have to run to the bank to deposit it--Yey!

I wrote a critical review some time ago complaining that the app suddenly made you select between credit and debit every single time you pay someone, even if you only had one card on file, which added an unnecessary extra step to the payment process.

I am happy to say that they have removed that horrible step and the app is back to only requiring 3 taps to send your money - enter the amount, choose the person, and hit Pay! Bravo, Cash! Well done!!!

Love this App for quick payments to people, payments typically go through instantly and post the next day. I like the new features with cash drawer and Credit Card Add on. Only problem I have come up with is signing out and signing back in. I have 2 debit cards, it would be cool to be able to load to Debit cards onto one account and by using cash drawer you can decide where the money goes. Just some input, thanks for putting out a great working app.

Everyone on my college campus uses this app. It is the easiest, fastest, and best way to send and receive money. There is no stress with transferring money to whoever you want, even though they have a different bank account. Everyone receives the money right away and you are not charged with a fee. It gets deposited right into your bank account, no questions asked. It is amazing. And I've also invited tons of my friends because who doesn't want $5?

I utilize this app all the time...!!! So simple, so streamlined... Quick and easy to get others connected to utilize this system. The only thing if you need to give a large amount of money to receive or send to someone,you have to go through an approval process.... Then it even gets better for you! Unlike PayPal, you will get your money right away deposited into your bank account even on weekends and holidays... Average 1 to 2 days deposits...

This is the absolute easiest way to send money to family members and friends. Set up the app, (I do not open my contacts to the app), simply enter the email address or mobile number for the person you wish to send $$ and the magic happens. Your recipients need to link their debit card to their email or mobile number on the other side, and the money transfers. If your recipient fails to link their debit card, the money is returned to you.

Ever need to pay for a group gift, send money quickly to friends, or pay the babysitter- and you don't have cash or a check? ATM fees are terrible, checks take too long to clear. But in less than a minute you can send cash from your phone! It's free and has saved us a lot on late fees with our home daycare because we couldn't get the check there in time or making a friend upset because we kept forgetting to pay them back. Best app yet!

Honestly I've lost count of the times I've had to jog to an ATM to pull out cash to pay roommates, pitch in a bill, help out a friend, etc. The transfers I've made or received so far have been instantaneously with no muss or fuss. The sloth in me really enjoys not having to run around to the atm and I have faith in the security since the same company is responsible for square which is commonly used amount small businesses in my town.

I am from West Coast USA and living in East Coast Washington DC. They do not have my bank here which is US BANK and it is very costy to withdraw cash from different machine that charged me double. That means my bank charge me and other bank charge me the same amount which I find this very silly to overcharge! This is best app ever invente and no FEES to just transfer instead of being charged in a big city that does not have my bank.

This app is very convenient and fast. My roommate and I split costs on some things like rent and it's amazing how quick the set up was. I could see the transaction on my bank statement. Instead of saying "I'll pay you back" and then having to keep thinking about owing money, I just pull up this app, type in the number and press "pay". Very simple and don't have to give it any more thought. Like it better than Venmo to be honest

It used to be if you wanted to give cash to kids, family or friends it had to be done physically - short of transferring between bank accounts which is tedious - or write a check. Square cash is easy to use, charges nothing to the common joe, and enables currency mobility in a way that should pivotally change the world. The concept of square cash enables digital currency to be complete and makes physical currency seem archaic.
