MeteoFocus is a professional weather service for winter and summer road maintenance services.

MeteoFocus is a real-time decision-making aid to support street cleaning, winter road maintenance and green area maintenance. The app offers winter and summer maintenance managers a quick overview of the current and expected weather situation in their area of operation at any time.

On the start screen you can immediately see whether there are active smoothness warnings for your region in the coming hours and which special weather events (e.g. cold, smoothness, storms or thunderstorms) are expected. For the planning of operations and necessary occupational safety measures, Einsatzwetter offers weather warnings against thunderstorms, storms and continuous rain as well as information on the risk of slippery roads, cold/ heat stress, UV-radiation and the soil condition of green areas.

MeteoFocus includes special weather forecasts for the coming 24 hours up to 2 days. Detailed information on the condition and surface temperature of roads, bridges, cycle paths and footpaths as well as the forecast rain and snow quantity are presented in diagrams in an easily understandable way.

Twice a day, our meteorologists write a weather report especially for your individual area of operation. In winter, this includes a risk assessment for the occurrence of rime, freezing wetness, snowfall and freezing rain. In summer, we report on the risk of heat, storms, thunderstorms and continuous rain.

You benefit from numerous features that are necessary for quick decision making on the go. MeteoFocus includes webcam images and current measurement data from your road weather information stations (RWIS) and official weather stations. In addition, a 5-minute weather radar provides forecasts for the coming hours as well as information on the type and intensity of precipitation (e.g. rain, sleet, snow and freezing rain).

MeteoFocus is exclusively available to customers of Wettermanufaktur. Registered customers via the web-based portal www.meteofocus.com receive an individual setup of the app especially for their area of operation and their customer order after activation by Wettermanufaktur.
