I have terraria on Xbox, PC, and mobile, and it's the best! The new update was great at first. I killed the Skeletron and went into the dungeon. I paused the game and put my ipod into sleep mode. When I got back on, the app restarted. Everything seemed normal, until I went to choose my character. The picture where your character is at was empty, and my character's picture was on the "create new character" space. His name was still in the right place though. I chose my person and got onto the world. The screen blinked on then off. Everything was black. When it loaded, it was just a floating torso and the background. It blinked again, zoomed out, and then my character was at the spawn. Except, he had no armor, and my inventory was wiped. I had the blade of grass, murimasa, light's bane, and the fiery greatsword!!!! I had on my jungle armor that took ages of killing hornets for stingers!!! I was transferring everything in my chests to an update world so I could have the stuff from the new biomes!!! I had EVERYTHING! It's outrageous the kind of stuff I had! A year of hard work GONE! Why would you do this to me! I demand you fix this at once! I can't believe a game as great as Terraria would have that big of a bug. In all honesty though, terraria is my favorite game ever. I also love the new game some of you are making, Starbound. Keep up the good work on both of them, and please, tell me if I can do anything to get my stuff back. Please!

Awesome game.

Few things that have been annoying though are the dye mob/plant spawn rate.

Orange- I built a massive underground dirt farm for these and after 300+ hours in that world, still haven't found a single bloodroot.
Cyan- built a farm in the underground snow biome. After 12 continuous hours, not a single beetle.
Violet- jungle farm similar to my snow farm, and in 12 hours, gotten just 1 dye.
Pink- built a huge cactus farm and check it similarly to bloodroot. Only found 1 pink in over 300 hours as well.

Another seemingly non existent mob is the mimic. With both above farms, I have platforms with dart traps activated which "should" prod mimics that spawn there. With running the above farms for hours and hundreds of hours of map exploration, I still have yet to come across one. (Statues spawn them yes, but pointless when I want the item drops).

Not sure if I'm just getting super unlucky or if these are glitches, but it's really frustrating when pretty much the only items I want now are seemingly impossible to obtain.

Last thing that was a bit frustrating (although not terrible) was the fact that dragon armpit can only be made with cobalt, mythril, and adamantine. Had to make like 10 worlds and advance all to hardmode before I finally got mythril. Not the worst thing but it would be nice to able to use whatever ores spawn in the original world...

Regardless of these, this game is incredible and definitely worth it.

Honestly this game is amazing. I know this isn't a comment page, but to newer players, this is a pretty good mobile version of an originally PC game. It has everything it needs for the pre-hardmore setting. I know that if the developers can't add a hardmode yet, they probably won't, because it can't be done yet. However, I do suggest working a bit harder on bug fixes.. (Just in case a developer is reading this..) Because I simply cannot get the game to load properly on my iPod 4. It ALWAYS crashes during the creator credits. If someone of authority is reading this, I highly suggest working on this, instead of worrying about the special edition holiday updates. (Believe me, they are great too, but I think it's more important that players can even open the game, let alone explore what the game contains..) I also think that the Demonite Ore spawn rate should be toggled a bit higher, because I literally could not find ANY in the Corruption. (And the game's description of the material suggests that it spawns more naturally in the Corruption than anywhere else..) Regardless, defeating bosses is another way to recieve mass amounts of the ore, so as of that point, I don't think it's a major problem. (Just for the record, since I cannot open the app on my iPod, I use my Kindle Fire to play instead.~) Other than these issues, if you're thinking of purchasing this title, GO FOR IT. If it loads, it's 100% worth it, I guarentee.

Terraria is by far the best game i have payed on the App Store. Its rival Minecraft just proved too boring for me as there is not much to do since they haven't even come close to adding all the things included in the computer version, but why am i talking about that game. Were here for Terraria, the best game out on the App Store. I love everything about it. Theres so much to do! Ive been playing for about a month now and I just got meteorite armor, a goblin trader, some demonite ingots, and almost killed Skeletron. So amazing, I wouldnt change a thing (unless theres some more stuff from the computer game that needs adding, though ive never actually played the computer version and its fine as is). Theres only one problem ive come across recently and that is crashing. I just got on after a week without playing and when i press the play button it freezes. When i get off and then try to get back on, the screen is black and then crashes. I dont know whats going on there, all the other buttons work on the Terraria home screen except the play button. I just want to get bak into the epic gameplay with my bad-A heroes. Anyways, thank you for bringing such an amazing game onto the App Store the way you did, with tons of stuff to do (unlike minecraft), and I will definitely be getting it on Steam soon. Please read and thanks again. (honestly, I dont know why this game is so low on the App Store, it deserves at least top 5)

This might be the day I quit do to you developers not really trying that hard anymore to keep up the good work and all I am doing is just working to get one of my made up quest items the Piranha Gun and the Spectre Staff which I am all I'm getting right now and some new pets that I found out about and also I'm starting to think if I should even quit or not because I heard someone say a very new update including the frostmoon event and the DukeFishron boss but I don't believe you guys anymore cause last time when you released a update having the frostmoon and duke fishron was just a huge troll from earlier this month so should I quit cause the only thing happening to you guys is losing fans just from about 20,000 players all the way to 2,000 players that love your game but don't know the truth about your update habits in having to not update that often but you know as soon as the island every single player is standing on is going away because the island is getting eroded by the water and the very last player that is left standing on it will also pass meaning from 2,000 players to a complete ZERO down player that's how much your players are going down but if you work at least hard enough which you are not you are losing fans by the second at least losing 19 fans per second so that means hurry up or face the end of Terraria!!! Or update Terraria so you get back those fans or lose them for ETERNITY!!!

A List of bugs.

When in the new expansive world there are certain things that do not spawn and be the opposite. There is absolutely no iron in the expansive. Certain underground tree houses will not spawn the house at the bottom

Certain hub features from buffs will not appear

Double tapping the home button or using control center will freeze the game( to fix go to the apple home, double tap then go back into the game)

Items will be used when starting up a world, certain weapons that are in the hot bar that use the particle effects will crash your game being used upon starting the game

Merchants will not spawn in houses if they are too far up in the sky (not too sure if that's a glitch)

While entering the snow biome the game often crashes with a white line flashing across the screen

There's a glitch in the color pallet of the player creator where you can make the character colors disappear

Signs placed on obsidian will crash the game Right after being in contact with water

The particle effects for projectile blades are not even with the handle

Will sometimes take random fall damage when using the wood wand

Iron in the super expansive world is swapped with gold

Flipping the device up or down will freeze the game

While in hardcore mode, bats will sometimes fly though walls

I did not expect 1.2 to come out so soon... Or ever. But here a few things that you need to fix:
1. Very fast ranged or magic weapons shoot pretty slowly for some reason
2.Chlorophyte is very rare. I recommend increasing the growth rate of it.
3.I have a huge above ground mushroom biome, and the truffle still won't move in!
4.Could you slightly increase the enemy spawn rate? not as much as in the computer version, but enough to get some stuff...
5.Don't change the overpowered dragon armor! 75 defense is awesome!
6. I mostly like the game, and it is still fun, but small worlds are a big problem. When it is an extremely rare occasion for me to find a ice chest, let alone an ice biome, there is a size issue.
7. Campfire effects seem to stack, 5 or more makes thou basically invincible.
8. Sniper scope does not work, only works on sniper rifle.
9. Maybe I'm just really skilled, but the Brain and Queen Bee are much to easy to kill. I think the Brain is too easily knocked back. Queen Bee is just too easy. (Wood armor win)
10. Pumpkin Moon needs better spawn rates. I've only gotten to Mourning wood.
11. Some items have WAY too many particles coming off of them. (Star in a bottle, for starters.)
12. Change the sprite of spectral armor to match the old unique one. It was awesome.
13. Oddly sized items in inventory.

Alright let me start off by saying a huge thank you to the creates of this game! I have spent... Who knows how many hours on this game on my iPad and iPod. I love my characters to pieces!

I have been playing this game for a year and this one bug still remains: the lost armor bug. Most everyone has probably had this happen to them. I was wearing some armor, the ancient set I believe, and tried to equip my newly made jungle helm and jungle pants. I saw that instead of jungle pants and a jungle helm equipped, I had my ancient set still on. I looked in my inventory and there was a gold helm. I wasn't even wearing a gold helm!

I spent so many hours in jungle biomes trying to get the jungle armor set and now it's gone forever! This has happened before with armies and costumes, and I feel like I can't even play this game anymore because of it. Yet you can drag your already equipped armor into your inventory and THEN equity your new armor, but I thought the bug has been fixed. I thought I was safe.

Other than that bug I have loved the style of this game, the gameplay, the monsters, basically everything about this game is amazing. I love this little magical world that is Terraria. I shouldn't say little, it's huge, wonderful, and full of so many secrets and stuff to find, I could spent years playing and still not know what I will find next!

I'm not saying that this game is bad, it's actually my favorite game I have played. A couple bugs I just want to get out there and known are many. One bug are the dye bugs. If I put dye on my breastplate, its turns that color, but it I add dye to the greaves or boots either the boots turn into the breastplates' color and the breastplate turns into the boots' color. Another bug is in the crimson. Just saying, if u have crimson don't progress in that world. In hard mode it would be impossible because many of the monsters that are native to the biome, don't spawn, if some do, they don't drop souls of night. Another bug that I have, is that there is on NPC that wants to settle in but doesn't. The notifications is really annoying and whatever I do, he/she won't spawn. Another bug is that in the jungle hard mode, I was setting up to vs Plantera, I make sure it's not near the surface. I vs Plantera and she goes all hard on me, moving at high speeds, high damage. So I had to go really deep down in the jungle so that I can beat her. The last bug that I receive is that if I haven't played the game in a while, when I load it up it crashes, the second time I load it up, it's fine. Those are most bugs that I found and really hate and they annoy or ruin my playing experience. Still a fun game and I would recommend it to anyone. BTW, this game OVERPOWERS Minecraft in all ways.

I've heard a lot of people refer to Terraria as a rip-off of Minecraft. I don't know if that is true or not, but Terraria is AWSOME!! And so is Minecraft. To be honest, I don't like how a lot of people only like one or the other. Both games have pros and cons. Minecraft undeniably has a superior setup for its universe. The 3D interface allows for incredible creativity, especially as you have so many options with red stone and Creative mode is provided. It's even possible to mimic computer logic gates with red stone, and people have built timers solely with blocks in Minecraft. Also, the 3D setup makes the game much more realistic in Survival mode. However, players have less options with the ore, weapons and armor, and mobs. In Terraria, there are dozens of ores and monsters, and you can modify your characters stats much more than in Minecraft. In addition, Terraria has a more structured storyline (of sorts) than Minecraft. This is because of the progression from pre-hard mode to hard mode, and the way players must beat certain bosses in order to face other bosses, and what bosses you must kill to get x item, etc. Minecraft is simpler and more open. I don't know if this is really a strength or weakness, it's more of what the player prefers. Anyways, this is my analysis of the two games. In my opinion, both are totally WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I bought Terraria a while back when it was on sale and it was sitting on my iPad collecting dust, I had already bought a knockoff of the game way back when and only bought this one to have the original. I know the games on pc and even consoles now too but it just feels so right on iOS. I picked it up for the first time in.. Well since I bought it the other night and stayed up till 4am playing it! Yikes! Apart from depriving me from sleep this game is great. It's colorful and pretty while having a retro-style appearance, there's tons of creatures and items to keep you on your toes, mining and building is more fun than you'd think, and the baddies are actually pretty creepy! Going deep under ground where the monsters dwell I found my heart beating pretty fast when I took some wrong turns and ended up in a corner with three giant spiders, a few zombies and face monsters, and what looks like an evil flying lobster surrounding me. Luckily though I was able to push them back with the very handy attack mechanic in the game and I lived to tell the frightening story. Anyway, I give this game a well deserved five stars because I got more than I paid for and am very satisfied, if you have the money to buy and try this game out, I highly recommend you snatch it up and find a place with no distractions to let you Terrarian creativity flow.

Yes! The Easter update was fixed on May 2nd, and for my iPad mini it updated, and for my iPhone 6. I'm pleased with the new update, but there a a couple new bugs that need to be fixed. For starters, when you go in your crafting screen and tap on a recipe then exit out of the recipe ingredients, the ingredients are still there but not the big boxy square. Play it a bit and see for yourself. Also, the enemy spawn is STILL extremely low. On the pumpkin moon, barely any enemy's spawn so I literally only make it to wave 4. In the PC version, I've made it to wave 14 and my goal is to make it to wave 15 to get a couple trophys. In the frost moon on PC I've only made it to wave 13 so I know I need to make a few more super dart traps or flame traps. Anyway, this update is very nifty, but I want more. I want you to add Duke Fishron so I can get the RazorBlade Typhoon and Temptest staff and maybe a Bubble Gun. ( My class of choice is Mage ) and also, there is another glitch. I have my orchalum anvil , Adamantite Headgear, orchalum Mask, cobalt helmet and Hallowed Headgear with the15 souls of Bloght from Ocram. It won't let me craft my dragon helmet nor anymore dragon armor! But overall, best game ever. Thank you so much for the Bug fixes but keep the updates coming please! Love this game!

Well I've been playing Terraria ever since it came out on PC, and I still love it. I don't have to restate how awesome 505 games is like how everyone else is. My main purpose is report a couple of bugs.

Thankfully I am not having any issues like character/world/item deletion, but there are some problems. My most pressing one is the fact that no matter how many times I create a world, the Crimson will not spawn! I'm aiming to aquire all the armors to display on mannequins and this hinders my progress.

On a related note, mannequins are not showing the pants/greaves section, appearing to be empty. However, I can still take it off the mannequin so it is probably a graphics issue. This has been a problem for mesince the hardmode update I think.

The last two issues I have are spawn rates and dropped items. Spawn rates seems to be a constant issue and it is pretty self-explanatory. Dropped items are flawed in terms of number and actual item. For instance, I got a Crystal Shard drop from a demon while playing in a prehardmode world. Also, the Bones family in the dungeon have about a 1/5 drop rate in bones, and when they do drop its only about 1 or 2. This makes it hard to make Necro armor...

Besides that I am loving the game and I feel lucky to not have experienced any major glitches. But for the sake of everyone please fix them!

The dungeon is totally great but add more. Like a huge hellcastle in the underworld or a "cloud kingdom" that looks like heaven but has angels that shoot the magic harp spell at you (you know, the one you craft with souls of sight).or even better, a sewer about the size of the dungeon-- you enter underground and it has grime blocks that you need to mine.

Bring back the cheat keyboard already-- you don't HAVE to use it, and it would solve the problematic glitches of chests and armor disappearing, etc.

What is WITH ocram?!?!?! He only drops ten souls when he should drop 20-40. And the suspicious looking skull is insanely impossible to craft. This is what the recipe SHOULD be!

Put mechanical weapons in the game. You "charge" them at an electric motor and when you use them, they consume electricity like spells consume mana except you can't refill them without a motor. To that end, put a motor called an "antimatter motor" in which is powered by souls of light and night (I hope you know what real antimatter is).

Upgrade the flamethrower to the cursed flamethrower.
And if you get killed by the destroyer or a probe, have the death message say, ">PLAYERNAME< was destroyed."

This game has to be the best game I ever played so far especially an Xbox my only complaint is that I can't figure out how to download it I have an iPhone 4s and this is what I'm trying to download it on but it says waiting in the home screen but In Xbox I kind of get frustrated but still I have a pretty good weapon for where I am right now I think you should download it because it has very fun and colorful such as the blue vase laser green vase laser pink phase laser in more colors I also think they have pretty good weapons and armor such as Dragon scale chest plate I think that it's the best I also got a tip from my friend saying that it is also Excalibur one of my friends told me is the best sort so I'm going to trying get that if I can and I also want to trying get the night edge but until then keep on trying figure out how to download it and play on Xbox 360 I also like the fact that you can also have more armors than you do in Minecraft at school I have been getting in Bayto other Minecraft is better than terraria or not until for Minecraft is winning but I do not agree that I think Terry is a better game for armor weapons in you get to fight even more but monsters in Denver and find dungeons and more weapons and armor I think you should I recommend this for you I think you should download it

Yus! It's finally here! I spent so much time on the amazing PC version of this and it's just as great as the PC! New to Terraria but not to Minecraft? Picture a 2D version of Minecraft that's much more in-depth and has a ton of new items and weapons (I highly suggest new comers check out the online wiki). From flamethrowers to guns to spears, you name it. Lot's of different bosses and challenges to complete in the game. Want to know the best part? The conversion from PC to "Pocket Edition" didn't remove hardly anything, unlike Minecraft which practically aet it back to Alpha (dont get me wrong, I'm a deticated Minecrafter). However, since it's a new game there are some teeny tiny bugs/issues. Since you dont have a mouse wheel it can be difficult to quickly switch items when you need to especially on Ipad. A quick select bar on the right side of screen would be nice. Also, Instead of building up to 20 hearts like on PC, you can only get a max of 10 which may be a problem when facing bosses. There are other smaller issues that I wont say right now but keep in mind that Im not too far into the game yet so there may be more to come. All that aside, Terraria is a legendary PC game that I truely think it lives up to it's expectations!!!

PLZ TRY TO DO IT I really need to have expert mode on this personly I think that it is unfair that computers have more stuff then in any others like mine craft pc has way more stuff then pe same with this it is unfair to not have every thing that pic has I think no if ur gona do another update make it with the computer have everything that it has it would be much BEDDER and besides I have almost everything in da game and I haven't played it that much anymore it gets boring when u have everything's no in da game so add more or at least add everyone the computer it would help a lot really I think other people would agree with I'm really asking u to do this a lot of people can't or their parents won't let them get a computer like mine so plz do this also if u do plz add some new things like I think some new ore and diamond and emarld and those kind of things need more respect I think u should make it like for them to combined with hells tone or something and it will be really good armor something like that and stuff like the masks should be able to one have a set and two make them both vanity and armor so two sets of each and some more things but I don't want to make th s longer then it already is so I readlly love the game make sure to do this tho k thx

Terraria is an amazing game on IOS, PC, and Console devices. There are so many bosses and things to collect, the music is amazing, and the game overall is astounding. I definitely recommend it. Listen to the age limits though because some things may not be appropriate for young children.

When I installed the latest update, I heard jungle music in the hallow. I have a feeling this is because the Lihzahrd door I blew up and then used as a door for one of my NPCs houses. Well, now I can't get rid of it. It only started playing jungle music this update, and it's only one block jungle related. Though I know there is Lihzahrd temple music, it's the only thing jungle-related near my house. Please fix this. Also, I'd love it of you could fix multiplayer. It is extremely glitchy and leggy, and kicks me from another person's game even if we're only a foot away from each other. Neither of these issues are big, but I still want them fixed, and hope that Terraria continues to grow even more amazing than it is!

Also, as a final boss for all Terraria games (and by that I mean PC, IOS, and console) should be Cthulu, and there should also be the sun god to go along with the moon lord after the eclipse event. I hope you take these ideas into consideration!

This is definitely one of the best games in the Apple App Store, hands down!! The intricate details and unbelievable versatility of the characters is remarkable. The developers of this game have made a game that lets the player have a huge amount of actions that can be played, from building your house to digging and completing objectives it's basically a free play game that if one just wanted to build all daylong instead of completing any objectives whatsoever you can if you chose to. This game is definitely a MUST HAVE for anyone with a portable device! The HOURS of gameplay makes this game a "STEAL" when it comes to the price! If you were to try to relate a price to the hours of gameplay you get with TERRARIA you would have to pay at least $50! This is one of those games that I recommend to everyone that I know and have brought it up in conversation with strangers also because if Apple is discussed then certain games are discussed too, they just go with Apple like ,well, Oranges! Lol!

THANK YOU to all who developed this wonderful game or had anything to do with bringing it to the masses! This game in my opinion will forever be in my top 5 App Store games of all time!!! IT DESERVES TO BE IN YOUR TOP 5 too!!!
