Like other reviewers say - it is extremely "pretty" to look at and has the best layout (hourly temps). I don't access the radar part often, therefore I can't accurately comment on how it works - or doesn't. But I can say that I rarely have any complaints out of this app and I do use it daily - most often 3-4 times a day! Actually, I wish all my other apps worked as smoothly as this one! So if you're on the fence and serious about your weather - go for it and download!

This is an amazing weather app. It shows the weather, phase of the moon, precipitation, and more. It's really nice to be able to easily see the chance of rain at a glance. It also has a very nice interface. They find quality pictures for each area they show the weather at, and they're all unique! I pulled up the weather for a small town in CA called Galt, and it showed a background picture of a nature preserve very nearby! Amazing app! Great job to the developers!

I love the app. Not only does it relay what the weather will be like for the day/week, it also has a radar map for your area, wind speeds and direction, the phase of the moon for the night, and even a graphic that details when the sun will rise, set, and where it is currently in its trajectory through the day. All in all, I love the app--the creators put a kit of work into it to make it easy to use and to be as informative as possible without being overwhelming.

Hands down the best app I've ever seen period! Add to it that its so well designed and extremely useful and you've got yourself a 5

Okay I live in Southern California so nine out of ten days it is sunny and average to hot. So a lot of the use I have for this app is telling me about nearby cities where it maybe cooler, things about places I have visited or my visit, and also weather where my friends or family live. I really like the use of the Flickr pictures. It makes me happy. Yes happy. And I like being happy after seeing a nice photo. Great app. Does what it says and looks nice doing it.

-update- I've been using this for a couple of years now. The iPhone version is still amazing. The BB version is close in terms of how the information is presented but has one huge flaw: you can't add multiple locations.

I have both the Blackberry version (good) and the iPhone version (amazing!) this app loads beautiful photos from around wherever you are at the time. Displays very comprehensive weather and forecast info in an easy to grasp format. Wonderful.

I've used The Weather Channel for years... I grew tired of it and the ads. It looks good, but this one looks better. My old one works well, but this one works better. I like the layout, the look and the widget. I'm happy I gave this app a try. Sometimes, change is good.

I'm left missing only one thing. I would like to see a section added that would show what the pollen count is. Maybe it can be added in a future update. Thanks for the great app!

The layout is amazing! Includes the forecast against a beautiful photo of current conditions. Scroll seamlessly down to see forecast, details, map, precipitation, wind & pressure and sun & moon. Swipe between multiple levels cations. It has it all and looks great!

The widget is beautiful! A photo of the current conditions of your location, the current temp and hi/low! I love it! It's a perfect all-in-one glance in my Today! Bravo!

So far, the best one I have seen. Loads new info great for up to the minute weather info. I live out a ways from town, so of the weather apps are really slow to give me the updated weather. I also like the top of the page when I first bring up the weather letting me know that it is in the process of updating. A lot of apps let you guess, never knowing for sure if that is happening.

This is a wonderful app, I love the ease of use, the UI is beautiful (the animations are a nice touch), and so far has been relatively accurate. I was always an avid user of AccuWeather; however, the adds within The app and the website were becoming ridiculous...but, I am glad that I changed over to Yahoo! weather. Much more enjoyable! Keep up the good work!

Clever yet elegant graphics and layout. Most weather apps I've tried are oversimplified...all symbols and little or no text. This app starts with the simple basics using symbols on the first screen, of just today's info, and then gradually reveals more details and forecast info as you slide lower onto one long continuous screen.
This is my favorite weather app of the many I have tried.

When I upgraded to IOS 8 my default weather app changed from Yahoo Weather to Weather Channel. The weather channel app didn't have key features like level of humidity or time of sunset. I suffer from joint pain that gets worse with humidity and high barometric pressure. Therefore that information is important for me to know. So, I downloaded the Yahoo app again and I'm very happy with it.

Nice update. Everything seems good but... What happened to severe weather alerts? This feature keeps seeming to appear and disappear with every other update you do. And honestly I don't know that it's ever even worked properly. Everything else is great, but this is an important feature, especially with winter coming. Hope this gets sorted out soon. Otherwise though, everything is great.

I've tried several weather apps over the years. Each is now residing on the cloud except this one. I just noticed my review echoed that of the description by the App Store Editor, so I'll just add, I LOVE this app.

We haven't had any rain, fog, wind, or snow since the update today, so I can't comment on the new animation, except to say, Yahoo! I'm almost hoping for a weather event.

When it comes to the interface, there is no better weather app out there. Clean, concise, and easier to use than anything free on the market. That's not to say it's dumbed down, But has all of the weather details and then some Like sunrise and sunset times or position of the sun. My only gripe are the Ads placed as my first module that can't be moved leaving me feeling exploited

I've searched high and low for a weather app over the past four years. Local news apps and others I've tried don't match all the things I was looking for and lacked reliability as a fisherman. This app is a dream come true for everything local and national. I simplified after finding this app and deleted everything other related app cuz this has got it all and it's simple.

I like this app because it give a lot if visual info for each hour by showing pictures of the sun or rain with the time. And there is usually a photo of the local city or town on the initial screen.
In the iPad version I like how the weather is presented as a time line with a line rising or lowering each hour that indicates temperature too. Makes it quick and easy to use.

This weather app is gorgeously designed, like a beautiful weather info graphic everyday. It includes even information I didn't know I wanted, like precipitation, wind, Doppler, and sunrise/sunset. Hourly weather would be nice but this app is almost perfect. Plus it seems they might've switched weather providers because it's more accurate than I remember. Highly recommend.

Very intuitive and clean interface. Information at your finger tips and most important thing is, I did not see any ads. I have been using the TWC app for the longest time and it got bloated with their new version and had nothing but ads in it and they made you scroll for ever to see the information. Yahoo weather truly rocks. Please dont mess it up like the TWC app.

Let me start off by saying how much I love this app over any other weather app I've tried. Not only is it informative, but also incredibly beautiful. The non-intrusive daily notifications are very useful as well; it saves me from even having to open the app if I want to know today/tomorrow's weather.
