I was an elementary school teacher for 39 years. In addition, I am a certified Reading Specialist. I have never seen a more extensive program like this in my life! I am now retired. I was searching for a program to use with my 5 year old grandson and my 2 year old grand-daughter. I saw this program advertised on Nick Jr. I had spent about $600 at the school supply store. I wanted materials to give him a head-start with reading. When I looked at the samples on this website, I called all of my friends with toddlers in the family. Also called my daughter. I know the kinds of skills young children need in order to be successful in school. This program does it all. It is a self teaching program that allows your child to expand their knowledge before entering a classroom. The avitars are so cute and sensitive to the needs of the children. The motivation is built in. The children will enjoy learning. I am so amazed at how many curriculum areas are covered. Even having the books that are read aloud are great. The highlighted words encourage students to read along. This program is worth every single dime. My only request is that they create one for first grade.
No child will be bored with school using this program. Kudos to the creators!!

Over the summer I bought abc mouse for my daughter. I wanted my kids to be productive over the summer and not just watch tv. My daughter loves it right away and I would have to bargain with her just to get off . This year she started kindergarten I home school. And to my surprise she knows everything! It is still early in the year but we haven't reached anything she hasn't been exposed to already by abc mouse. She always tells me "mommy I already know this!" The curriculum that the school I use has is more advanced then public school and she is still breezing right through. Now that school has started my older kids need the computer more it is great to have this app on the iPad since she finished her school work so fast I allow her to go on Abc mouse on the iPad while I help my older kids with there work. It's great she can do something educational instead of watching tv.

We have been a part of abc mouse since my daughter was 18 months old, she's now 3.5 yrs old. She has learned so much through this program & has excelled in preschool this year. We mainly used the program on our Mac computer, but when I saw the app was finally available for the iPhone I had to get it. So far we've had no problems w/the app at all on our iPhones. Sign in was easy & everything from our account has rolled over. My daughter has been playing it all day & is so excited that we can now access the program anytime, we no longer have to wait till we get home to use it on the computer. I highly recommend the program & app. My daughter was well prepared for her 1st yr of preschool this yr & I know abc mouse had a hand in helping us prepare for that major step in her life. I teach severely handicapped students. I waited for months to check out ABC mouse because I hated their commercials. An app that teaches preschoolers to read all by itself, yeah, ok...
Finally I gave in and checked it out. I was surprised to see it was FREE for teachers, so I figured, what do I have to lose.

I use the website projected for my circle time. The kids love the letter songs, earning new fish, and reading stories related to current lessons. Now that I have the app set up, my students can explore the classroom independently. With guided access turned on I can leave a child to work while I work with other students. I know they won't see ads or access anything they shouldn't.

I highly recommend this app, as well as the sister app of ABCmouse music videos.

My 4 1/2-year-old daughter has been playing on ABC Mouse for several months now and she would rate it a five star! She loves the music, the games, the aquarium, and how the story books are read to her! She also loves the reward system where she earns tickets after each activity and has been learning that she needs to save up the tickets to buy things that she wants in the shopping mall! I personally love how it's got so many different activities which keeps her attention for at least an hour if not more! I also feel that she is learning many different facts and has a chance to practice writing and coloring in pictures along with piecing together puzzles!

So I am a mom of a boy who just turn 4 years old. I have been working with my son on teaching him at home but however last year I got really sick with a rare auto immune disease. I am a stay at home mom but when I got sick this made me unable to teach and work with my son but then we found ABC Mouse and it has changed our life. It has given me the chance again to work with my son everyday to help him learn and grow. It has also made him grow so much in his learning. Thank you so much for giving the ability back to help my son learn and grow everyday.

So shocked to see so many terrible reviews as we have had the service for over a year and it has worked seamlessly on all of our devices (iPhones and iPads). We have three toddlers and have one account for all. They can easily switch between profiles on their own. Even our two year old has mastered it! I've only had to reach out to customer service once and it was a pleasant experience. It's a GREAT app for little ones, that reinforces lessons they are lessening at daycare. I say work through the service kinks and you will NOT be disappointed!!!

This is a great app I love it for my little girl had it for her for 3 1/2 yrs now and it's helped her wanting to learn and retain what she's learned. My little girl is 5 1/2 now and wants to read before kindergarten and this app is helping her with that. I'm a single mom whose also a student and my little girl loves to copy me so when I'm studying she wants to study.. Enter abcmouse made it possible for me to peruse a degree while still being able to spend time with my girl and be there while she learned as well!!

My son needed a little extra help in school but would get frustrated with me trying to help him. ABC Mouse has been the perfect solution to help him enjoying learning and allowing us to sit down together and work on the subjects he needs help in. I do wish we had the option to find all the sight word games in the basic section without having to choose from the individual word section and that the numbers went higher than 20 but other than that it has been a huge help to my son and easy for him to operate.

We have been a member of ABCMOUSE for several years. My daughter loves to learn but the great thing about it is even if your child doesn't like learning they'll love ABCMOUSE. It is so much fun and so well designed. Your child will find a lot of activities that are as educational as well as fun, fun, fun. Children are not the same and don't learn the same. And this APP allows you as a parent to take control while your child thinks she's in control. It's worth every penny and more!!!

At first I had an issue someone else had with the user being myself instead of my child. The way to fix it is to go to the user settings and disable the parent from learning and using the path. Simple button click makes her the only learner and saved me a major headache because it kept logging me in as the main user. Other than that my daughter loves it, she plays it on both my hubby's phone and my phone (one iPhone and one note3) and on the iPad, it all syncs perfectly.

I could've done for my son. He saw the commercials for it on tv and kept asking for it. I thought it was just a game. But once I saw the commercial and looked it up I took a chance. Since then he's even more eager to learn and excited about the different tasks on the app. The songs, learning about animals, counting numbers, identifying letters and the sounds they make. He's even starting to sound out words. Way ahead of the game for a 4yo. RECOMMENDED!!

Between me and ABC mouse my daughter is "this" close to reading. :) She is 3 and can count and recognize written numbers (1,2,3 not yet one, two, three) up to 40. Knows both upper and lowercase letters A-Z and so much more.

With the latest update the app is working once again,
Yes we can do ABCmouse on the comp but my little one prefers the app because she could play abc mouse independently on it. I highly recommend this program for your own family.

I am a licensed elementary teacher, but I am currently a stay at home mom. I have been trying to do preschool activities with my 3 1/2 year old, but he needed more. I gave this a shot this week. He absolutely loves it, and he is learning so much already! He begs to do his "new game." He loves the songs, books, and games. He will be starting preschool next year, but I'm happy to get him started earlier from home!

Well I can say I was & am still very much expressed with ABCmouse , the learning programs an progress my kids made were always above average, although many , many times it would freeze an certain games weren't available yet when first purchased. My girls love the fact they earn tickets to buy an build virtual worlds for their avatars, that was one of the appeals while having fun & learning while playing.

Both of my kids use ab mouse and love it. They play between the tablet, iPad, and my laptop.

The only issue I have is with my sons account. He's on level 8 now. Level 8 doesn't work on the tablet and says sign on using a laptop or desktop. I did that and online using the laptop it only goes to level 6. We tried on the iPad however, it won't bring up any of the lessons you click on.

This is perfect for supplementing our home school. It gives my kindergartener and my pre-kindergartener a screen device assignment of thirty minutes a piece. As long as a child doesn't spend hours looking at a screen rather than playing with real tangible things and moving their bodies, this is a great supplement for their brains in small doses. I have 2 boys 3.5yrs and 6.5 yrs old. The 1st day we had it it rained all day and youngest played for 5 hours. He wouldn't stop until he got 300 tickets so that he could buy items. He was focused on the reward and the WHOLE time he was learning.

My four year old has told me to inform the company that she has said she loves ABC Mouse, and that it's her favorite app. I can see her learning and by the way it praises her on every accomplishment in each learning path that she finishes, her confidence is becoming stronger and stronger. I just have to say Thank You for ABC Mouse.

This is the best! I have multiple children and each one has their own learning path to travel, not to mention all of the other activities and books to explore. They love it, and can't wait until it's their turn on the computer. They will most definitely be ready when they enter school! Keep up the good work ABC Mouse!
