Since we learned about Hoopla being connected to our library membership, we have been reading and using audio books in our family much more. Kids like it better than paper. 12 monthly books is plenty. I do have a couple suggestions though. Would love to be able to scroll down the pages instead of always swiping to turn page-by-page. Also, my book locks up sometimes and I have to get out and get back in to keep going. Not a big issue.

When I went to my library to search for a book, I noticed Hoopla as the source for borrowing ebooks and audio books. I downloaded it on my iPhone once I got home and loved how many choices of audiobooks there are. I've only had the app for a few weeks but am already on my third audiobook. I love that you can download the books so there's no wasting of data when away from home. This app is a lifesaver for long traffic-filled commutes.

I really like hoopla. The app is great for downloading a "book" or "cd/album" for offline use. It downloads very quickly for me and I'm off to take a walk listening to my favorite music or relax on the flight to hear an audiobook without needing to be on the Internet. Hoopla is also really nice to try out a new type of music without having to invest in a purchase. I am thankful for our good Library service and this terrific app.

This app has literally hundreds to thousands of CDs, films, ebooks and audio books all available for just the price of having a library card !!! Free to checkout and new titles always being added, it's the best app I've yet found that keeps me entertained day in and day out !! I'm legally blind and being able to listen to hours and hours of audio books and enjoying my favorite music now fills my days !!! Thank You Hoopla !!!!!

Hopefully, your library has a Hoopla subscription so that you may get in on all the action! Free movies, shows, music albums, audiobooks, etc. All for the taking. A minor gripe I have is some niggling user experience/ UI/ logistics issues; the great thing is that I know the app developers are listening to user feedback and some of these wrinkles will be ironed out in future iterations of the app. Download and try the app today!

I use Hoopla all the times. Hoopla is my to go place for audiobook, especially business books. I stopped going to the library altogether. They have a great selection of business and personal development books available. I also listen to music using the app. The only thing is that I wish I could borrow an album more than twice a month. I recommend hoopla to all my friends and colleagues. Thank you for all you do!

Fantastic app from my library. The app offers video, music, eBooks, comics and audiobooks. I have primarily been using the app to listen to music. I love that I am able to borrow the full cd's do brand new titles. Movies are easy to browse and have borrowed a few good titles. App is very intuitive and easy to use. I look forward to browsing the collection and borrowing more content.

My Los Angeles Public Library membership gives me 15 free rentals on Hoopla. That is a lot of entertainment. The app works great. I couldn't be happier with this deal. I'm wondering what the problem is for all these folks giving the app a bad review. It works perfectly for me, but disclaimer: I don't listen to audio books. It seems like everyone's problems are with the audio books.

Love my Hoopla. I have a commute everyday and constantly use the audio books to help me get from home to work. It's true there are a few books that have little blips in them but I just move the book a little past where the blips are. It happens rarely so I'm not complaining. Keep up the good work and keep bringing in new titles. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is a great app. There aren't many apps that stream and download as well. I wish they had a little bit better selection of movies and ebooks but they have the latest music. It would be nice if they had a widget for notifications or the ability to shuffle between the music that you have. This app has a permanent place on my phone which I can't say of too many apps.

If you click browse you are looking at collections. You have to click on the bold genres link to see the genres, which do include infinite browsing. For Apple TV, you have to make sure your Apple TV connection is mirroring. For History, go to settings by clicking on your email address in the side menu. You can also change your recommendation settings there.

I have heard that most people use this app to watch movies I use it to listen to books throughout the day. And I love it it is the best book at the house extreme variety of books that other apps don't have it it's free and it's free. I would recommend this to anyone that does not have time to read a book loves books to listen to new adventures every day.

I've only used this app for audio books so I can't review how it works for ebooks, but I love this app. It's free with my library and it could not be easier to use (especially compared to overdrive which is awful and you can only stream so I wasted half my data on an hour of listening and half a night trying to download it to iTunes.
HIGHLY recommend

I'm not much of a TV viewer, therefore Hoopla is a great venue for me. I read on a Kindle so the ease of obtaining an ebook is so convenient. I also love knitting so I download audiobooks which is super for listening while doing my projects. All in all, Hoopla is easy to use and a well thought out app for those who aren't tech savvy. I love it!

If your local Library has hoopla access, get it! Hint: Boston Public Library has it and gives a library card to anyone who asks. Everything from e-books to audiobooks, comics & music to movies and TV (the latter two are the most limited in selection). Just an amazing app. You pay for libraries, so why not use them, the 21st century way?!

You can't use a .net email address but once I got past that this is a great service. I've checked out Motörhead and Michael Monroe albums the same week they were released.

Sometimes the downloads can be a little screwy but I just re-download the album to the device so I don't have to use cell data when away from wifi.

I think this app is amazing. I use it through my library and the amount of media available is fantastic. I have used the app for about 3 months and have had zero issues. When I read the children's books with my son we love how you can zoom from text to text. Thank you for providing such an excellent resource.

I love being able to use my phone to listen to books. My car CD player broke and I was so upset because I listen to books on my way to and from work. I can download them to my phone and not use up data. It doesn't drain my battery either. This saves me many trips to the library too!! Highly recommend!!!

This app was already pretty good, what with free streaming of music and audiobooks. My library only lets me checkout about 10 items a month but I use the heck out those items. I love the ability to use chromecast, movies on a phone never made much sense to me. All around pretty awesome app.

Solid app. Free content is great. The app itself could be tweaked a bit (it crashes occasionally, and isn't always the most user friendly), but for free content it is definitely 5-star quality. Everyone should have this app. Don't pay for Audible when many of the same books are on Hoopla!
