I am giving this App 5-Stars for one reason.
I am hoping that you will work at adding more selections & maybe the 5-Star rating I leave will help accomplish this.
I am a father of two girls who is on a fixed income so saving money is a priority in our home.
I actually started purchasing items listed on this App to give them a try even though I am unfamiliar with them.
I can say that I haven't been disappointed with any of the products I purchased.
The items so far have been fine even though they wouldn't typically be my first choice.
The rebates I will receive made enough of price difference to make it worth giving these products a try. I would typically pay less for a similar well-known product that I have used for months or even years.
Now I do not know the ins-&-outs of how a business runs that revolves around a rebate app.
It may very well be difficult to sign-on clients who have well known products with larger marketing budgets.
I am hopeful that those who work for Checkout-51 will be able to be more competitive with the other rebate apps that are available.
I will however continue to use this app until I feel it isn't worth taking the chance of trying a product I am unfamiliar with or if the rebate that can be received isn't large enough to justify the change.

I just started couponing. Learning the hard way, on my own and have been very frustrated at times. This app however is very easy for me. It's very straight forward, efficient and processes my receipts quickly with no problems. The only suggestion I have for the app to be even better is if it could get companies to allow more offers to be able to redeem. I'm not trying to get rich with it, I'm just trying to make ends meet, being a single mother of 2. I would like it to have more relevant offers for me and my children. I have only used this app for about 6 weeks now and I'm already seeing an improvement. For instance downloading a butterball app that I did use and was helpful with meal planning and I earn .75 cents for just doing that. Anyways I am a fan and have high hope that they are working hard on improvements and will succeed. Happy couponing all!!

I love this app but I do think that they should put a better variety of products on it every week...it's always the same stuff and some of it I've never seen or heard of before. We need more products like milk, bread, cheese, pizza, snacks, and common household items. Just need more items on it that people buy often and it would truly be an essential app. The app has improved over time with the products offered but I really wish they'd go to PayPal for cashing out cuz when you request a check it takes soooo long to get it. I will say there customer service is quick and efficient....I had a problem with an unidentifiable item on my receipt a couple days ago (the stores printer was low on ink) and I contacted them and they resolved my problem quickly. Just give us a better variety of products and I'll recommend this app to everyone I know! :)

I used to use Snap by Groupon, but then they changed and became some horrible app where you no longer get cash back, just offers for which stores have coupons (that you could find online anyways). This app is like the old version of Snap by Groupon, but so much better!!! This app has much more offers to claim and get cash back for. Also, this app has been able to read and verify my receipts instantly. I've had no problems claiming any coupons and it's so easy to use.

Just remember to follow the rules with your receipts and add extensions for longer receipts to include the date and total price. Otherwise, they can't verify your receipt qualifies for the time period. Also, remember to actually click the offers you are claiming.

I love this app and I am gaining cash back faster than I did with Snap by Groupon.

I just started using this app and the very first time I went to upload a receipt, I had a problem with my camera. I ended up having to download the app to my husband's phone and then upload. During this time, it struck midnight on Wednesday... Right when they change deals & qualifying purchases. Oh no! I emailed customer service and they said, "No problem! I'll manually upload it for you." Later that day, I had my new account credited $3.25! BUT THEN... I was told that one of my purchases did not qualify. So, I emailed again, and in less than 24 hours, I was given the benefit of the doubt and credited for that purchase, as well!
I very highly recommend this app. It's SO easy to use and they truly do have excellent customer service! Happy saving!

This has been such an easy app to use… my favorite thing is that it can be used at ANY store. Most other coupon apps limit which vendors you can use it at which has always limited my use. I also love that you don’t have to scan the items. Most importantly, customer service is quick & efficient! My first submission was rejected because of the way the store abbreviated the item, but when I contacted customer service and pointed out the error, it was immediately fixed and I got credit for the purchase. My ONLY complaint so far is that you have to do so many individual sections of the receipt to fit it all in, but overall worth it!

Love the app. Appreciate that it does not make you scan each upc, only occasionally. Do wish it would format to my iPad screen so it would turn sideways. As with a few other apps that aren't iPad friendly it must be used only in one direction. Would love to see more rebates from other companies.

Edited. Other reviews have their merit, yes there needs to be more items, yes the check comes snail mail,. But money is money. I use Ibotta also but both have their merit so why not use both. If you're going to buy the item anyway, all it needs is you to scan the receipt. Not the product or a survey. I like it.

Depending on how often one uses their brain to easily snap a pic of your receipt and click the items you bought, You can save a lot of money with this App! Even if your just getting milk you can save. If you've looked around for coupons - Do you see any MILK coupons out there? Well, here ya go! And on a side note register with Kellogg's and pick up an extra $1.00. I didn't know I was even gonna get it when I signed up. Just popped in there on my account. If your thinking about downloading this App - it's a no brainer. Do it, you will not regret picking up that basically free check for $20 when you reach it.

I'm all for saving money and was so excited to learn about this app. My husband just recently retired and I lost my business in 2011 so I use coupons and anything that will help save. I agree with the others about wishing there were more coupons to choose from, and I too have had no problem taking pics of my receipts and I have had some pretty long ones, I lay my receipt on the counter & work my way down. The only way I could see it not working is if you didn't have an iPhone. I hope this helps, and I for one, assure you that I do not work for them. Good luck!!

App is so easy. Just do your regular shopping and earn cash! Most items on the list are items I would be buying anyway. And if you use coupons on the items, it's like double coupon day!! Taking pictures of your receipt is not complicated at all- if you ever take pictures with your phone, you can do this. Long receipts are no problem either, just have to take multiple pictures moving down your receipt. Receipts are approved quickly (mine have always been approved within an hour). I would recommend to anyone who likes to save money!

I am new to the whole coupon craze and to be honest, I still can't save the way I see everyone else. I don't understand the rules or where I can use multiple coupons, etc. However with Checkout51, I don't have to worry about that. My family and I only shop at HEB (Texas store) as I love to support local businesses. HEB usually have coupons on their items already and with this app I'm saving twice! Love it. My husband was skeptical at first, but today he saw that we are actually getting money back! Love it!

I used to clip paper coupons, and while that worked, it was inconvenient and time consuming. This app solves both problems. No forgetting coupons at home, no endless clipping and organizing. I just cashed my first $20 check. True, we don't eat very much processed food so we do not use most of the coupons available in this app, but this app also offers coupons for things that don't usually have coupons, like produce, eggs, and milk. It is very easy to use. I've never had any problems with it.

I have used this app for a few months now and it is totally legit! I have even received a reimbursement check through the mail and everything was fine. It has deals for you to choose from without specifying what store it has to come from and you just upload your receipt. Your account is credited with the amount in no time and you can see the savings grow! There are good deals on everything from laundry detergent to fruit. Definitely recommend to get back a little money on groceries.

Use this at Target with Cartwheel to really save. That's the big draw for me with this App. Biggest disappointment was buying something that appeared on the App, but wasn't the right version of the product. I still had my Cartwheel savings, so not a big deal, but would love to have known before checking out.

I think adding in a scan while you shop would be helpful, much like with Cartwheel. Show me alternatives to what I scan, so I can save.

Overall, a great app!

This app is nothing short of amazing! As a mother of 3 I feel like I live at the grocery store and using Checkout 51 helps me save money every time I shop. I've already earned over $50 by buying items that I purchase regularly. Plus being able to use the app at any store is just the cherry on top! I've tried regular couponing but this is so much more convenient and easy to use. If you haven't downloaded this app do it now because you won't be disappointed!

Today was first time using the app. I liked that there were at least 5 products I would buy. I am beginning to see the rebate amount is so small it will prob take awhile to get to $20 cash out. I did have a problem with my receipt today, the cashier ripped the top part with store name , so after I submitted it I received a notice they couldn't process. I contacted them to see how we can resolve this. If the app was linked to loyalty cards this would be nice .

Why give an app a bad review when they give you money? Haha - I love shopping, sometimes what they have in the app isn't what I want - but sometimes they have offers in the app of things I would like to try and heck if I don't like it I will get some money back for trying it! However I wish they wouldn't keep the same items in the app for longer then 3 weeks - I wish they would change up the items more frequently but I still use it. Thanks

I have been using this App for about a year now, I think? I have had great experiences with customer service if I had a question about whether or not an item was eligible.
They even let you know when your check has been mailed, and if there are any delays, etc. My latest check was delayed, (although still very much inside the range of time they give you for delivery), and they emailed to let me know, and apologize!

I just started using this ap and a few others about 2 months ago and this one is really easy to use. I've already saved over $20.
I had an issue recently where they weren't able to identify an item I purchased by the receipt description, so they denied the rebate. I contacted them & they reviewed the issue & within a day I had the credit it my account. They were great!
Definitely would recommend this ap!!!!

I love this app! I'm always checking what's on it to see what I can save on. It took me about 6 months to get up to the part where I could cash in my earnings, but now I have $20 heading my way! If you're going to be buying the products anyway you might as well get some money back for it. Definitely worth the download and time in my books. Very easy to use also.
