In short, brilliant game with a great library of cars however... Firstly many iconic cars new and old missed out, an example being Koenigsegg One:1. Secondly many stats aren't accurate (mostly found with the cornering g force potential) which seems a little favourable towards a few brands or American based cars making them too closely matched and sometimes better than brands with racing pedigree like Ferrari, whilst some cars are far from credited enough e.g McLaren F1. Lastly this game takes up (A LOT) of memory so beware!

Like stated at the start this is a brilliant game overall, huge career that I'm not even close to finishing yet, well over 100 cars available amongst a variety of brands. This games in a league of its own from other iOS driving I've played.

My conclusion of this game is great taking all things into account and the natures of the people playing it. Due to me being a car enthusiast it definitely wouldn't go a miss with revised stats of many of the cars on the game as I do believe it is somewhat robbing true players of a more complete experience and not forgetting robbing credit some manufacturers deserve. Last point of my conclusion would be that this game is somewhat coin or otherwise known as real money orientated, expect a very slow and in many ways restricted career progress.
Regardless, I recommend this game.

This game was fantastic with smooth driving, nice graphics, great cars and just overall fun but there is one thing missing from it and thats a quick play mode so you play
on any track and do any event at anytime with out effecting your cars performance or career because this games slogan is drive anywhere any time and thats a bit annoying to me plus if you do make it you should make a free run mode so you pick a track and just do as many laps as you like kind of like a practice mode because that what i need because real racing 2 was incredible but the thing that came over to real racing 3 was the fact that if you make one big mistake like you don't see a turn and hit a far back wall its game over so aside from that its still a brilliant game but needs that practice mode so you can just do endless laps or practice for stuff like drag races that would be great and the second problem is vip treatment because i bought a bmw with vip and its brilliant but the thing thats annoying is the mechanic because you should have stuff instantly like you do upgrades so you should have instant repair for vip cars because that saves a ton of time. But other then those problems its a brilliant game :-)

I normally dislike racing/driving games but after the first race I was hooked. There's always another car to reach for or upgrades to purchase and it keeps you always wanting to do better. Even going over old races is vastly entertaining as the upgrades mean you can get your opponents eating your dust. The in game currency is either gold coins you can earn by levelling up and completing tournaments or buy for real cash (not needed if you don't mind earning it) or R$cash which you use to upgrade and buy new cars, normally you need a mixture of both. The only down sides I can see are the multiplayer, which isn't really that important. It would be awesome to race in real time against your mates but it doesn't detract from the game overall and the cost of upgrades which get pricey and time consuming the more you advance. They urge you to spend real money to complete repairs and upgrades but I don't mind waiting and using game earned cash so the whole game has cost nothing and I'm currently at level 35 with 8 or 9 cars.
5 out of 5 a definite must download.

Ok straight off the bat I do agree that in play purchases are a crime and this game is no different, especially when you come up against an online player who has bought and fully upgraded every car, most likely at considerable expense! But if you do stick with it the game is worth it!! Use your gold on your agents, earn double cash and rep and you'll soon make progress in the game. Look out for multi lap cup races or endurance as they tend to yield the best money especially on longer tracks. Also, for upgrades on cheaper cars, use gold first followed straight away by money. Double upgrades will get you far in a division. Make sure it's worth it though as better cars may be unlocked quickly that you can buy with cash not gold. You can complete large parts of this game without having to buy gold cars then with every level up, percentage completion or training session complete, the gold will pile up!! Happy racing people!! This game is immense!!

You have to try it. I've been playing this for almost two years if memory serves, and it's never disappointed. The graphics are fab, but not as amazing as the driving experience itself. Plug your earbuds in for a wild ride - the sound of your car's engine, change of gears and neat background music really adds to the experience.

The updates and competitions for this game are unbelievably frequent and entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed competing in the recent offline competition to win the Maserati!

I'm not really interested in the online aspect of this game so much, but I can say that the offline tournaments are fabulously rich which you might not expect with a game that has online options. So even if you prefer online tournaments, if your WiFi isn't working then the offline side of things will guarantee your continued entertainment.

Don't regret not trying this game.

Hi. i am a massive fan of this game. Been playing it for over a year! The new-ish update, that gives you coins for completing Driver Level Its sooo unfair ( ill explain why).
Ive updated my game when i was on level 174, which means I've lost over a 1000 coins. To complete some races you have to upgrade some cars with only gold for PR. NOT FAIR!
Some cars are over 600 coins to buy. How am i gonna get that amount of gold? I have 89/95 cars and cant buy anymore because i need coins. To buy all the cars i need over 2000 coins, which if i wanted to purchase them it would cost me over £130. NOT POSSIBLE. Sooo unfair and not right.
So please make the game more fair. Or at least give me and other people coins that we should recive after the UPDATE.

Altho im annoyed, i still think its one of the best games on tablets/phones EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Keep spreading the word about this games insulting IAP, but their is a tiny tiny get out of jail card, that's to play the Le Mans racing circuit if you win the Porsche in the challenge as you can earn some fame then, no where near enough and you did get more until EA changed it and reduced it, because they are utterly greedy, but it's the ONLY way to play this game, grind and grind and grind to build the fame to get gold and then buy the gold cars and gold upgrades of which their are a fair few off.
Do us all a favour EA and FireMonkeys, if and when you make Real Racing 4, just slap the option of a buy it all price on it eh? Even if it's £30, it's not that hard to do, stop thinking profit profit profit and share holder returns for a couple of minutes and think about your customers instead eh? Show you are human after all?

I absolutely love this game. It's got great graphics, the controls are perfect and the cars really do seem to have completely different personalities. I'm a collectaholic in games so this game is great. However, I'm a bit miffed that they've started giving 20 gold per driver level now. I'm lvl 65 and for each level I got I got between 1 and 3 gold. That means I've missed out on up to 1000 gold through levelling up just because I've had the game longer. Others with higher driver levels than me I'm sure would agree that this gold would have been a fantastic help to all of us. Is there some way you could refund us the gold like you did with the Le Mans competition? That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Altogether though, a wonderful game.

Game started of fine easy to win races and short upgrades but now got to a stage where upgrades take ages fully upgraded cars don't win races and you can only buy extra cars by spending money so all in all I'm uninstalling because the game has become very boring ( need to try better to keep people racing) not spending just to be in the same position a week later and then need to start spending again filling the developers pockets would have given it no stars but there is no option for that so begrudgingly gave it one deleted game by mistake downloaded it and game went back to beginning even after saving it to the cloud what a swizz spent money on it also so lost that as well

Don’t using bother reviewing or commenting on stuff unless I am really NOT a fan (Danny Wallace) or REALLY LIKE something. RR3, for me, is FANTASTIC. Yes it’s immediately closed upon opening a couple of times but I haven’t spent a dime and have been playing for ages. If you’ve something else to do open the app, mute the iPad and then cycle through the ads to earn a regular amount of coins. Ten ads at one sitting is the most so far. Sorry EA I haven’t spent a brass farthing on your SUPERB game but thanks for letting me earn money¥coins without having to pay. If you’re a gear¥petrol head then this is the best iPad game for you bar none in my opinion.

Guys I'm playing this game almost one year,it's great,the cars,tracks and graphics! I have a couple of suggestions,put more cars and new stages whit WRC RALLY we already have the Hyundai WRC,include more tracks around the world"SÃO PAULO,BRASIL"ESTORIL,PORTUGAL,DOWNNINGTONPARK,ENGLAND,MONZA,ITALY " and many more around the world! I have lost cars whit the updates,the game as crashing all the time and im addict and i would like to see more stuff because I'm almost in the end off the game and i would like to see more tracks,this is already to bored!

When i first picked up this game i was blown away by the graphics and varied racing but after putting in a substantial amount of time and more than a few of my hard earned pounds, i've pretty much hit a brick wall. The special events are almost impossible to finish without shelling out ridiculous amounts of cash in order to upgrade or buy new cars and the game seems to crash more and more as i progress further into it. E A has got to be one of the biggest names in gaming and i'm beginning to understand why. Come on E A, sort the crashing issue out and stop pricing the average gamer out of the market. Shame on you

The Nascar update was a FANTASTIC idea, excellent work...I have been playing this game for almost two years now and i have never gotten tired of it. Your updates have made the game more exciting than ever. This is one of the very few games i enjoy playing...loved it as soon as i opened it for the first time. My kind request is that when you update this game again, add street racing tracks please. Also please add big cars like the Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes Benz G65 ..
and so on...I honestly hope you guys consider my request and I hope to see an even better update next...All the best

Been playing this game since it was released and it is fantastic.

The latest update has caused my game to crash and I cannot take part in The Le Mans race, may be worth waiting a little while until this bug is fixed if you were planning on downloading this game.

Regarding the comment about the cost of the game, I have not spent any money so far. If the option for a full price one off purchase was offered to unlock the full game I would purchase it. Until this is an option I shall continue to enjoy this fantastic game for free, once this bug is fixed of course!!

This is simply the best race app for your iPad - no need to add any other comment! Two ways to play - spend a lot of money and buy your to the top or do what I did and take months to build your garage of trick wheels and have a lot more fun. To the weird people who spend hours looking for cheat codes on the web, why bother? Who are you actually kidding?
What would be a cool update is to go with some old school muscle, Ford Capri, Opel Manta, Peugeot 205 - no other race game will have cars like this!

Don't bother with the online multiplayer, let the cheats play with theirselves. A bit unfair seeing as there are big rewards but, it's not easy not to be amused by cars travelling sideways around the track in front of you, skipping forwards when you get close, being dropped in front of you from height and gaining 1000yds in a few seconds after the start of a race.
I'm quite certain this isn't a fraction of the tricks that the cheats and hackers get up to, but seriously don't give them the satisfaction of taking race points from you.

Absolutely stunning graphics, lovely physics engine, but there are a lot of car upgrades that are gold only. It's quite hard to come by gold, maybe the gold upgrades can have an equivalent cash value too, or more gold events. Winning 5-15 gold for some achievements/events doesn't cover the 60-120 gold for some car upgrades, and it's hard to max out cars. Obviously gives you more of a challenge but I do sometimes come across a stalemate and don't play for a few days . Lovely game, have been playing for a couple years now LOL

I am playing this game for more than 2 years and I still love it and play it regularly.
The graphics are amazing, controls are very well balanced. It runs well enough on all ipad I have (from ipad 3 to Air 2 now).
Game play is very versatile. Of course you proceed more if you pay real money for gold coins. However, it is still very well playable by just fulfilling the races and watch the one or other commercial to receive coins.
I am very impressed that Firemonkey were able to balance the game in this way. Well done

After having played Asphalt for a couple of years and having got to a point where I couldn't really progress without spending real money I decided to give RR3 a try. The game is very good and rewards time invested. Whilst some of the challenges to win cars can be a bit tricky they are not impossible to complete - just make sure that you built up a sufficient reserve of cash and gold beforehand. If you haven't got the patience needed to progress in this game then don't bother and stick to the arcade styled Asphalt.

Incredible game. On a screen as small as the iPhone, the graphics are on a par with Forza. One thing, if you are playing on the phone, select automatic transmission, auto-break and auto-accelerate. True, it's a bit of a cop-out, but better than pecking away at the screen, thus obscuring your vision of the road ahead. Not too many annoying adverts, and if you're patient (ie, wait for upgrades etc), you can amass a ton of cash without paying a penny. You can't be without this game if you're a petrolhead.
