I've been using a number of job-search websites/apps/services for a few years - and have always been disappointed, until now. LinkedIn Job Seekers is good and all, mostly because there are tons of job listings, but there are tons of flaws too..

ZipRecruiter's "1 Tap Apply" is amazing - it really is just one click. Compare that to LinkedIn, where if you try a 'one click apply', you're directed to the online application for the company you're applying to, which isn't very convenient at all...

Another big difference is that when applying via LinkedIn, at least in my industry (sports), you end up being one of thousands of applicants; at best, I'm contacted to discuss 2% of the jobs I apply for. My application probably isn't even looked at most of the time... Compare that to ZipRecruiter, where I've been contacted directly for 75% of the jobs that I've applied to, and had an interview scheduled after applying via "1 Tap Apply" to just 5 jobs in the first hour after I signed up...and it's not even a question/discussion, Zip is much better and it's not even close. I'd pay for this app/service - but it's free!

I tried this app because I read all the positive reviews on it. I am a Human Resources major and I was very skeptic of Zip Recruiter.

After applying to a couple of jobs using the "1-tap" application (all you have to do is tap once to apply using your uploaded resume), it will send you an email verifying that you applied to the job and after an employer views it you will get a notification that they saw your application.

Just within 24 hours of applying to Human Resources jobs, I got phone calls to schedule interviews within 24 hours of applying. These interviews were for my exact profession. It wasn't a sales recruiter, but a real interview for jobs based on what you applied for and applies to you skills and qualifications.

Definitely recommend trying this out, good luck!

I rarely write reviews but this app is super user-friendly when job posters allow the user to use a one tap option.
As a User Experience Architect, I encourage job posters to create in-app job postings to allow the job seeker to apply with 1-Tap, allowing them to track the jobs they have applied for.

Making a job seeker launch a third-party app in a another browser window is clunky and old school and just a real pain in the neck especially on a mobile device, Stop it. Not user friendly!

So if job posters are reading this do not link "your apply now" link to a third-party vendor! Please follow UX best practices and take the time to list the job posting with in the zip recruiter app, get on board the user experience train folks it's 2016, this means you IBM and GE!

When I first saw this site I will tell you I was very sceptical about even trying it. Then they told me about the app and I was thinking to myself this is going to be just another example of you put something on your phone and all it does is take up space in your data bank. But to my complete and utter surprise and delight. This app is the best way I can possibly think of to look for the exact type of employment and opportunity that you feel is right for you. You can put in the information as you need it to fit the criteria for your life and and situation and then the app will do the rest. I am very glad that I took the chance and that I found ZipRecruiter. The returns have shocked even me.

I want to say this job site, is easy to use and fast. I believe I shall have a job soon. Why? Because this site matches and links me to the type of jobs that I'm looking for and/or my job skill sets. It doesn't just send and send and send me random jobs that have absolutely nothing to do with my work history or background. (Like other sites that I've experienced!) I also like how they send feed back for the jobs that I do apply for, which really helps me to keep a good tracking system of one the jobs I apply to and two so I can see how my job search actually is truly going. Because of Zippy I got a lot accomplished today!

I am new to the this app. However, I have already experienced a much-welcomed ease and efficiency in applying for pertinent positions, over the sea of job-seeking sites, which consume precious energy, effort and time. Zip Recruiter is the best avenue I have encountered, so far.

If you invest the time and effort into perfecting your ideal profile, with Zip Recruiter, you save yourself the agonizing (wasted) time in repeatedly entering the same info, at each new application site. Zip Recruiter will greatly simplify your job-hunting process! Find your perfect job/career, with the greatest efficiency and the least amount of repetitive, wasted time. So far, I love it!

Upload a resume and you are gone from there simple too. Not to many jobs that u find on here that sends you to there own web site but trust me if u looking for a job u will have one in two weeks. But you will start receiving calls the next day. Try me I downloaded this app with Microsoft word and Dropbox and man I tell u in a one month span. 18 calls 11 interviews I have 2 jobs I declined 7 jobs and 2 construction jobs waiting on me for March. That's what I achieved an a month off this app. I'm not a college grad, hey I only got of high school with a little construction experience. And I'm black. Life is so good right now

This app has helped me land my dream gig working from home. The tracking and one-tap apply is amazing! No more entering the same info over and over - I was searching whole still working full time so just the time consuming, tedious task of entering my info to create profiles made me want to give up- I'd spend hours applying to one or two positions after a 10 hour day- and getting nowhere. With this beautiful app, you get notifications when your resume is viewed and I got calls immediately. I love you, Zip Recruiter! Thanks so very much! 5

I've never written a review and feel the need due to the positive experience I've had with this free service. Seems to have a pretty broad range of job opportunities! I've landed several interviews and job offerings from ziprecruiter leads. I enjoy the ease of applying to jobs with ziprecruiter. It's the best way I've found to apply / follow up / get in contact with company! I recommend trying this service over blasting out tons of emails to craigslist job openings.. It's FREE , AWESOME & EASY!!!

Create your own resume or they'll automatically do it for you, which I love. Easy to search any job title, which gets rid of many hawser, which I like. Simple, click, and done. With all that been said, it won't automatically gets you a job. However, here's what I got out of, I have to do my part in order for me to get a job a that is following up with calling the company, and that's is fair after they do 90% on the paper work and you do 10%. I totally they beat the odds. You should get too.

I graduate soon, and being a college student, I'm often split between dozens of things to do on a daily basis. This app has been holding me accountable to regularly applying to jobs, given the easy interface, on-the-go applying and wide selection of jobs. This is definitely one of the more advanced and friendlier ways of applying to jobs, and I've had success so far - employers have contacted me within a week of applying through ZipRecruiter. If you're in college, this is a must.

I was on unemployment for a month and a half without relieving calls. Frustrated and signing up for every career website I could, this one sent me personalized emails for jobs that I matched up to based on my resume, and I actually started to get calls! The position I accepted was seasonal for big $$$$ so I'm back here at it again, but I recommend this to everyone I know who's job searching. The app is fantastic and I love the one-click apply whenever they have the option.

Love this app. It delivers exactly what it says it does. It's helping me find a job easily and without hassle. It provides extensive information for each position available to assist you in picking the perfect job knowing as much about the position you're applying for as possible. It allows you to provide all of the useful information about yourself thats needed to help you find the perfect job. Very pleased. Hopefully I'll have a job by the end of the week.

I have had numerous job interviews the majority from Zip Recruiter. It's very reliable it tells you when & how many times your application has been reviewed. I love this company & their app just made it even more efficient in getting to, you can stay logged in and unless you want "Desktop Apply" over the majority are 1-Click apply can apply to 25-37 companies with just one tap. I have had no problems with this app, highly recommendable.

I use many apps for job hunting but this one is different personalized and very up to the minute informative! I am not hoping they look at my resume! Phil sends me a text on my status and forwards more to review and apply. Plus on the app it tells me when I applied and when they have reviewed my resume and in 2 days I have had a good response and hope to have a really good job "not just A JOB" soon

I love this app.! It let you know when your application has been reviewed. I have been offered numerous of jobs by submitting my resume.! If you can change the notification to when you press the notication icon that it actually takes you to the job that it says in the notification, instead of having you search through numerous of offers. Again EXCELLENT APP I RECOMMEND THIS APP TO EVERYONE SEEKING A JOB

Absolutely love this app, I despise taking hours fillings out applications online, only to hit dead ends.. . I'm very fast paced and like to get things done quickly. Including apps.. All the jobs that I am looking for fit me perfectly they match me with the jobs that I am looking for it's very easy to upload your resume and cover letter I spend about half of the day just applying for jobs with two clicks system I love it it also tells you if I job has viewed your resume or not and the status you can track your status. I'm really enjoying this app and it's a lot of fun

This app is extremely user friendly and easy to use from start to finish! I've used a ton of apps, wasting time downloading and trying to use them, just as everyone else has too. This app however, is so easy and quick I honestly don't believe that there could be another one like it. If there is another out there like this one, well I guess it would take me another 10 years to find it!

I love this app has great options and great opportunities for it but every time I open this app and I click on my jobs and click on the jobs that I've already applied for it automatically freaks out freezes and closes on me or it never opens The area where it shows the jobs I've applied for. But other than that I love this app and I would recommend it to anybody and everybody!!
