This app is the best! served its purpose and once I got the hang of it was fairly easy to use on my phone With my regular number. the only issue I had, and I think this may be an issue with me not the app, when I got an incoming call I couldn't tell what number was calling me, only that it was calling on the burner number. Other than that I have signed up for the premium service, unlimited text and mins for $5

They've been good to me for years, and continue to evolve getting better & better. The newest feature that I love the most: When you remove the app. from your phone, & go back a month later, You "log in" & you don't loose your numbers or your texts! ....This is a must have App., guys!..... Giving out my Burner number to "questionable" men, allowed me to disconnect from them quick when I needed to! A++

I am so happy this app came out in a time of my need. This app is super useful for craigslist or dating, and whenever you don't feel comfortable giving someone your number, you just give 'em your burner number! On top of that, the app looks really nice, and its one of the few apps that I can really value its in-app purchases. (They are worth it.) Overall, super solid app that I am loving right now.

Works perfectly! Looks and behaves just like a normal phone number. It has voicemail and a auto response - and it's super fun to watch it "burn" when you are done with it!
2 things that could use a tweak - can't send video and your caller has to wait a long time for you to answer because it rings your actual number first then you have to wait to accept it.
However, it's totally worth it!

Perfect for online dating. I hate giving my cell number to strange guys, esp as some can turn out to be creepy.
A note about contacts: you can easily turn off Burner's access to your iPhone contacts in your privacy settings. The idiot who erased ten years of his contacts did that to himself because it's very clear whether the number is in your iPhone or your Burner contact list!!

Easy to download, set up, and use. If you are in an environment where your Internet connection filters certain web-based services and blocks them, then with some apps similar to Burner, your app may be rendered inoperable. Not so with my environment and the manner in which Burner routes your calls. Reasonably priced when compared to T-Moble's pay-as-you-use phones and packages.

When I'm cat'ing around town or chatting up the ladies I don't have to give them my real number which is great cause now the wife will never find out. And the best part is if she gets close I can burn that number and grab another. No more worrying about that 2:30 am call from a side shriv saying I'm prego,BAM number gone and so are all my worries thanks burner!

For those looking to pass out your number but not sure if you REALLY want them to have it yet -- Burner is the way!!! You can extend it if its working for you or BURN iT and start over with a different number! You can also set the settings for notifications off so your ACTUAL phone won't keep going off and check your messages when YOU decide its proper.

I looked and tried all other services like it . They were either super expensive and gave you very little "credits " or just didn't offer the all in one as Burner app has . Burner app lets u text and call with a burner number and keep it active ! It truly is very affordable and generous . One this i would like is a "blocking blacklist " a number option

Wow! A must have for anyone who either a) needs to use their phone for business reasons yet relishes their privacy; people tend to not pick up blocked numbers so *69 more often than not doesn't work for all intensive purposes or b) loves pranks. I've been looking for a way to make calls from what appears to be a different number. This app is clutch!

Like many apps it can have its good days and bad days. That being said I love it!!!! No contract and with running a small business with a land-line you get swamped with robot callers. This way you have control of your number and not bound by long drawn out contracts.

I highly recommend you at least give it a try. The cost is also very fair

This is an amazing App! If you don't feel comfortable giving out your personal number for whatever reason this is the application for you. Create multiple numbers that you can call or text with even MMS ( pictures and videos) have a blind date or selling something you might want another number. It even does voice mail also. Amazing just amazing...

Update: getting better and better, these folks are adding features and improvements on a regular basis. Very happy! ^.^
Navigation through the app could use some improvement. The basic concept and execution expands your phone's options by so much, I'll happily use it now and enjoy any future updates when they come! Still working as expected! ^.^

Works great. I needed a number for 2 days and Burner did the job.

I got alerts saying my number would cancel in 3 days, so I have no idea what "plan" I chose or what the heck I was paying for. But since I only needed a number for less then an hour. THIS app is awesome

Compare the cost of a second phone, minutes, etc versus $5 a month on this app for the same thing except you only have one phone. Most all websites want a phone number to get information. They only sell it to every foreign nation who's goal is to steal your money through fraud. So, burn the number once every couple months.

It's perfect for what I need it for. I love that it offers a premium line and the price is very, very reasonable. I've tried other apps like this one, and this one wins, hands down! I just wish they'd allow pic sending on all lines and not just the picture burner or premium line. Other than that,it's perfect. Kudos!

This has a lot of untapped potential. It's great for so many things. But I feel like if it were to become popular that many would misuse it with pranking and bullying. I definitely feel like there should be measures in place for such issues, if there isn't already. Other than that, this app is absolutely amazing :)

Needed to make a few calls and texts that I did not necessarily want coming back to my phone. When you meet new people and are not sure of them use this app. Tell them it is a work # and if you are good with them then give them your #. Saves late night drunk texts and annoying follow up calls for buying a car etc.

Ridiculously easy to use! Perfect for ANY time your not sure if you want to give out YOUR number; like when you meet someone in a bar or dating website, selling something on Craig's List or eBay, signing up for something and don't want to get a barrage of spam, the uses are boundless!
JUST GET IT- You'll use it!

My best use for this app is when selling on Craigslist and giving prospective buyers the burner number. When I’m done selling, burn the number and no more contact from the buyer or prospective buyers. A highly useful app for any situation where you don’t want somebody to have your permanent contact info.
