Thank you AMEX for delivering such a simple, sophisticated and safe app for iPhone users. You've raised the bar in terms of how Cardmembers can interact with your products and services. I really like how all my information is there at the tap of a finger and can easily unlock value via offers or points-based initiatives. If only you could combine the David Jones card with the rest of the AMEX-issued portfolio for single login, but minor point. Keep up the good work!

One App that actually works as expected with lightning speeds telling you a transaction has gone through faster than the retailers confirmation at times. Reassuring to see transactions in near real time. So anything "odd" should be picked up fast or I can tell "goods shipped" when the card is debited which is better than tracking through the resellers website.

Payments are easy too.

I never have a problem with this app. It's easy to view transactions, see all your Amex card accounts, sign up for offers that automatically credit your card (?! Amazingness). I love that you can view your monthly balance in a summary without downloading a statement. Also with any update the general format stays the same. No need to relearn where all your buttons are.

The AMEX app is great. When I make a purchase using my Apple Watch it provides a notification on my iPhone which comes in handy when checking which card I used for purchases.
The TouchID works well, simplifying access to my account and the ability to see recent purchases before they are cleared helps as well.
Some banks can learn something from AMEX with its functionality.

First glance this app looks simple, but I love it. I rarely go online now, only to view a statement, that's the only thing this app hasn't got. You can review recent transactions. Big plus is being able to make a payment, the app knows how much you owe & the due dates, all the user has to do is select the amount & date from a list. Well done AMEX!!

One of the best apps among the banks in Australia. I still can't get Touch ID to work but other than that it works perfectly.

Would be really good to get the store and and your points score which you still have to do through the full website, but I'm being picky. Its does all the basics well and that what matters most.

I find it really simple and easy to use the Amex app. I also love the way purchase notifications are immediately pushed through to my phone and watch. I feel secure knowing that I can track what I've spent and that any unauthorised activity on the card wouldn't go unnoticed for more than a couple minutes.

I have been using the Amex app for years and it has always been a simple and effective way to manage the card. Recent improvements like Touch ID and Apple Pay have made the app even better. Local banks should go to school on this app to improve there own offerings. Well done Amex and keep up the good work!

This app is surprisingly good, especially the recent enhancements. While I think there are some aspects of the transaction history that could be easier to use, the app is receiving regular enhancements and is improving all the time, even adding substantial new features like Local Champion. Really good!

Very happy with my new DJ AMEX card and this app is excellent. Very easy to use, has all the functions of the web site. Balance, payment due, statements, points and special offers. Worthwhile having on phone and also has Apple Pay. Fabulous app!

Perhaps not as feature-packed as I thought it would be, but the AMEX app is highly integrated, clean and easily accessible. Definitely does make for a great customer experience but I do hope to see more amex offers coming up soon!

This is what these apps should strive for.
Simple interface, most functions are readily performed and one touch access is great.
Notifications are also very welcome as it is very easy to see transactions almost as they happen.

This app is reflective of America Express as a company. I love its functionality and it's immediacy in reporting transactions compared to my current bank's credit card app. Easy to use and great layout. Highly recommended.

If by chance I ever lost the card, the second someone used it I would know, as I get notifications immediately after each purchase.

Great features, love it.

App is easy to use and it is fairly simple to see your transactions from all billing periods. Your account balance is also prominently displayed which helps control spending. A must have to AMEX card holders!

I use this ap at least once a day - often several times a day. It has sufficient features to make it extremely useful. Never had any trouble with any aspect of it. Like the finger print sign in.

This app is easy to access with fingerprint identification and quickly shows me recent transactions, balance and special offers. Better than all the other credit cards I hold.

The app is reliable and convenient. It hasn't let me down, and makes it easy to review statements and organise payments.

Only missing functionality is claiming rewards.

It is very convenient, easy to use, love the finger print entry and the easiest way to make payments, I wish all banks had their app as good.

Love this app. All you need to know at a quick glance. All transactions there in front of you including pending purchases and balance left.
