This app alone is probably the best I've come across for reading manga. I love the features in it like how it automatically downloads new manga's that are in your favorites so you can read them on the go. I really love the fact that there are so many titles to choose from I really couldn't decide where to even start. It was a bit annoying when I am on my pc and trying to read manga because you get a picture in the middle of the screen and a lot of other content on the rest of the page which can be distracting and also can make you inadvertently click on an add by mistake. I love the fact that this app covers the whole screen allows you to zoom, and easily scroll to the next page.

What is Manga Storm?

"Manga" is a term used outside Japan refers specifically to comics originally published in Japan.

You can find many websites providing manga scanlations for free.
But after a while, you will face following problems from using a web browser to read them.

● iPhone/iPod touch screen size is small so navigation between pages is hard.

● You have to wait for the image to be loaded and have to zoom it to fit the screen every time you navigate to a new page.

● You have to periodically check the website yourself to see if a new chapter has been released.

● You want to read some favorite online manga in your free time during a trip but you don't have access to the internet at that time.

√ Navigate between pages easily.
- Just swipe or tap at the edge of the page to flip to next or previous page. You can use the slider to navigate to any page in the chapter.

√ Read next chapter continuously.
- After finish reading each chapter, just flip to the next page and Manga Storm will automatically load the next chapter for you.

√ Bookmark automatically.
- Manga Storm knows when you leave the chapter without finish reading it so when you later come back to the same chapter you will start with the last page you have read.

√ Keep your reading history.
- Manga Storm will keep the record of every title you have ever read so you will not lose the name of a title that you read in the past few days again.

The performance of this app is great!!

As an avid manga reader, I searched all night to find a perfect app to use. Manga Storm was the first app I used to read. It is definitely easy to use, loads very fast, and and has great properties I couldn't find anywhere else. I don't write many reviews but I just had to for this app! There are some cons that don't matter much to me but can be easily fixed--

Of the iPad manga reader apps this is by far the best one I've used. The app itself is pretty fast from downloading chapters to flipping between pages. (I couldn't stand how slowww the mangafox reader app was!!)

HAS to be on your device if you're a manga reader!

I've been using this app for a While now and I have to say that It's one of the easiest and fastest ways to read manga! I'll tell ya - I've stayed up until 5am on a church night to read manga because of this app. I just can't seem to put it down! I love how you can just add to your "Favorites" list, and now with the new update the "Reading" list will just make this app greater, especially how my "Favorites" list is pretty long.

A side note to those, complaining that you HAVE to copy/paste a url of a site in order to read... You DON'T have to do that at all, that is only an option. Just tap on "open internal browser" and boom you go to whatever site you want and your manga is automatically added from that site.

Excellent reader

I've been using this app for years like a lot of people, and the updates have been a little hard to get used to, but very worth it, especially now since you can go directly to the site to add a series. Before that you couldn't add some of the popular serializations like Bleach and OnePiece, as well as others, and some sites still don't have those, but a few of them do.

Extremely useful once learned

The problem with reviews for this app is that people don't understand what it actually does: it's basically a library for manga that you find online. They make this super easy for you by automatically detecting a URL you copy from Safari OR you can open an internal web browser in the app and simply hit "Add title". After that, you can categorize them by following, reading or updated.
