This has been a great app for the family to stay in touch no matter what the device is. Has really come in handy for minor emergencies to be able to communicate. Great app for families of kids without cell phones. Great for international texting too. I have tried other texting apps but this is the best I've found and look no further. I recommend this app to many people. Thanks again for such a useful app.

I'm certainly glad someone took the time to develop an app for communicating via text. The phone companies really take advantage of this medium to boost their profits but not everyone is into texting as frequently as the phone companies project. Then their projection become the amount you're charged on your bill! This app allows you to control your text output and the adds are sometimes interesting.

I have been using this app for about almost 6 years now. More recently because when I don't want a person to have my real phone number this is the one they get. It's great to be able to add minutes by watching an ad or downloading another app or game. Or for that matter it's free incoming call. Keep up the good work and continue making it free if even for a minimal fee of buying minutes. Thank you!!!

I love this...because i have an ipod and you know how you cant text people without iMessage? THIS WORKS!!!! So now i can text my dad and ect.
I just hate the adds☹️. WHAT does adds do? But other than that great. You can send stickers which are funny or cute pics..well not necessarily you can find out for yourselves. Im so excited...i just got this and it works. So I recommend this.

I use Text Free everyday! I choose not to support the high priced cellphone companies rather I use Text Free to keep in touch with my family and friends. I've had very few issues in since I started using it years ago. Issues usually fixed by by an update that came quickly or by reinstalling the app which I've only had to do once. I've recommended it to all my friends and will continue to use it!

Great app for using to text with my clients that I don't want knowing my personal number! My work phone is hard to text with BC it is not a smart phone. I can now use my regular smart phone with a new number via this app to text my clients easily! Their replies come to my phone and they never know my personal number! I LOVE IT. It's awesome to be able to use the swipe keyboard with the app too.

Thank you so much for fixing the app for the ipad mini 3.... this app was not here for this particular device and now has the calling feature and I'm so happy that you fixed it I am beyond thrilled now I can take any of my iPads with me and and I can call out or my kids can call in when ever they want this app was not available for the iPad mini 3, now it is and I am beyond happy.

Textfree is a great way to keep in touch with your friends by texting and calling!! One thing that annoys me is that you can't send videos!! Some more annoying things are that app adds can text you to download them....by the way never click in one of those boxes because they will bring you to the App Store to buy that app!! On group messages you can't send pictures or videos!! :p

My pawpaw had just passed away and everything was hectic and all the bills fell behind. Luckily when my service got cut off text free made it possible for me to stay in touch with the people I needed to. My boyfriend was in jail too so I had to be able to text and call everyone who could help get him out and I was able to get his calls!!!! Best thing that I've had in a while!!

Honestly I love this app. It's the best thing ever. Since I don't have a phone yet I can use this on my iPod and text my friends who don't have apple products. I love how the texting is completely free. I just don't like how little time you can call people for. But other than that I love it and I love how it gives you a number so you can use that number and stuff

This app is sooo!! Awesome it's allows me to text who ever I want when ever I want just not when I don't have Internet. But besides that it's awesome and it allows me to call any body but u have minutes that I don't like but u can earned them back by watching videos or by buying a whole bunch of them for little prices. I'm in love with this app I recommend this app

I love using this app. I can text and call all I want. Anyone can call you but if you call them you need minutes and you can buy them or get credits I have never spent any money on this app to get minutes you can watch videos and earn two free minutes per each video also you can download games or app and do surveys to get free minutes. Really a great app I enjoy it.

Awesome app although it is a little glitchy. Sometimes I don't receive texts and/or calls unless I open the app myself. The ads are not a problem for me at all. And I mean come on its FREE!!! What more could you want. This app is perfect for those who can't afford phones (like myself, I am currently using an iPod touch) and to keep in touch with others when needed.

Hey! So I got this app and it is amaze!! So, some of you young folks have an app called bitmoji,right? Well being 14 I have it too. When I type to my friend Clarissa, with bitmoji, it always says "bitmoji copied,now paste- there is the problem, WE CANNOT PASTE! I wish we can paste because it would make it way easier for me! I've been using Pinger since it was textfree. Originally so I would have a spare number for random ppl but I got lazy, killed my contract, and started using it as my 24/7 phone. I am home mostly all day so it works for me with wifi. Had some issues with the quality of phone conversations but since I upgraded my phone that is no longer an issue. LOVE IT!!!

I have had this app for a couple of years when it used to be the original text free app in 2011 I had the same number ever since this app works for me it's excellent I rate 5 star for text free. The only thing I have Ben waiting is more better texting tones and ringing tones like iPhone has. If text free upgrades the sounds this app has it made for sure.

I have been using pinger text free for 3 years. You can not beat FREE. It is completely free unlimited text and limited call. There is no catch. I am loving it. If you need second number and don't want to buy another line you MUST get pinger number. You can use on the computer (web) or on the smart phone (app). Thank you pinger. Keep up great work.

I've been using textfree for several years and it's been great! I used it back when I only had an iPod Touch and still use it now on my iPhone since I have no data plan. It gets the job done, calling is good most of the time, and for the most part I get reliable notifications save for a few instances here and there. Ads are not a huge hinderance.

I used this app for 3-4 years when i was smaller and i would call my parents with my little ipod. I just want to thank the company for making this because i called my family with my ipod when I needed help keep up the good work, now I have my Iphone hopefully my little nephew can use this app one day I'm actually teaching him how to use this :)

Wonderful, I have had no problems thus far. As I get more people to join my feed back has been excellent. Two people can't be on speaker though w/out getting annoying feedback. But that's easy to work around. Just about ready to disconnect from AT&T. Love turning cellular off - I do use this app, along with FB Messenger, which I love more!
