All the books I'm interested in are referenced here. I can get the opinions of many different REAL people before purchasing the book. And THAT is crucial.
In the past I had so many disappointments buying books following comments on blogs or reviews on sites like Amazon... Which were in fact not representative of the book's real value.
This app / service is just great.

I like everything about Goodreads except its aesthetic. I think it could be prettier, and maybe a more interesting shade of beige at that. But it's functionally exactly what I want out of this kind of app.

Vowed to read more in 2017. App makes it easy to track books read in any year--or when you begin and end. Reviews and recommendations are helpful. Also fun to see friends' lists of books.

I want to be able to add books and indicate when I finished reading them.

Overall an amazing app which encourages me to read more than I do.

I linked my amazon account(kindle) and this app, however I can’t see the purchased kindle books yet. Why though?

I can use it as diary of books, and possible to search many interesting books, quite good 5 stars! :))
