Like most people have already said, this new update has made it much more difficult for those of us that care about fantasy sports and pay attention to day to day performances. First, taking away the easily viewable daily stats makes it extremely frustrating when monitoring players' performances. Second, I pay attention to the performances of other teams' players, so now having to go through several extra menus to get to view another team is infuriating. Third, I'm not even going to touch on the automatic roster fill button. Those of us that pay attention don't need it. Maybe this review will find itself lost in a sea of other 1-star reviews but maybe, just maybe, it may make the developers of the Yahoo Fantasy Sports app PAY ATTENTION! Listen to those of us who play and go back to the drawing board on what constitutes an "improvement." If not, we might all stop paying attention to Yahoo Fantasy Sports and find something more relevant.

I love the update! The app was already good before but now it's so much better! I like it a lot more than ESPN now because they Yahoo added live projections which is awesome. ESPN has this as well, but there's more. Both apps now show the matchups in the upcoming weeks, but yahoo shows the player's projections for future weeks, which ESPN doesn't. Finally, I like the matchup ratings for every player and how there's a video of a certain fantasy expert giving their projection for the player in the game they're about to play in. The yahoo app also just works better than ESPN. So to summarize, this app was already good but the update now makes it even better, and now ahead of ESPN.

I'm a SAHM and didn't have the time or ability to work on my team with a NB constantly in my arms or a house to take care of. BUT(!) with the Yahoo Fantasy Football app, I was able to nurse the baby and update my team on my iPhone while I had plenty of time sitting down already. Now that my baby is 1+ yrs, she is active and wants to push buttons on the desktop keyboard and play with the
Mouse, so I've found it difficult to get much work done unless it's on my iPhone. The App rocks. I can do anything except for changing my icon and team name, as far as I know. Thanks for a keeper, and for enabling me to still be competitive in Fantasy Football.

This app is great when you are away from your computer that way you can still set your lineup approve trades and all kinds of stuff. The only downside is when you are excepting or rejecting a trade you cannot send a counter offer like you normally can online with your computer. Other than that this app is great you can be logged in with more than one account you can have more than one team in more than one league it does everything! This is the perfect fantasy football app for people who need to make changes to the roster or check on players to see how their status will be for the upcoming game day when there are away from their computer.

I will have to admit.....this app is easy to read, easy to use and easy to keep scores and standings. I thought when they suggested we go this route, I was not sure it would work for me. After the first few weeks of the first season....I cannot even remember playing FFB the old paper, pencil, and collecting newspapers methods.

Once I learned how to use the app, it was really simple to operate. It is so easy, I find myself using the phone app instead of getting on my computer go update my weekly lineup. This app is a must have for any FFB player and even when a person is a tech dummy, they would be able to use this app.

I've been using the Yahoo! fantasy app for the past 2 years for my fantasy baseball and football leagues. I have to say, the updates that have been made to the app have been great over the years. I would make the argument it is hands down the best app for fantasy purposes. I know that scoring notifications are being worked on, so that will be another plus for this app. The one thing I suggest for the next update is a widget for the pull-down notification center, now that the IOS 8 update makes that possible. Something where people can see the scores to their match-ups would be pretty cool. Keep up the great work Yahoo!

For all the Fantasy sports lovers this is the perfect app. I have multiple teams for every sport and managing them cannot be easier with this app. You can Join leagues,create leagues and draft on the app, not to mention a smack talk section to talk to others in your league. Many people dislike the app for mistakes they've made on their own with managing their team. Yahoo continues to update it and improves everytime. It also provides for every fantasy sport, what's not to love, I give it a 5/5 if your questioning on downloading it I suggest you do.

So basically I had never heard of yahoo fantasy football until a friend told me about it. I downloaded it and decided to enter twice into the million dollar baller for 20$. I didn't follow football so I just picked the players with the highest average fantasy points per game and waited to see how they did. At the end of the competition I walked out 90$ richer!! I don't recommend anyone enters for a third or fourth time just because they have it rigged so u just lose money. Good luck!

Best fantasy site out there hands down. Smoothest, easiest to use of all apps. What separates Yahoo from the rest is the player analysis. The writing is crisp, clear, informative, gives practical advice, and most important delivers with a touch of humor in their words. Other sites are too dry and boring in their articles and reviews. Yahoo's levity just gets your attention which really is important. They just make it a way more fun and inviting fantasy football experience.

I am a huge fantasy player and player research is vital to me. Yahoo! has lots of filters that I need and use. I play on NFL Fantasy too but I prefer yahoo! If you are looking for a great fantasy app that is easy and free, download this app right now, I love it. I play all year round sports like baseball and basketball and never have problems like I do on NFL fantasy when it crashes. Just get it, take it from a diehard fantasy fan like me

Honestly, the reviews don't matter, its not like we're going to switch from Yahoo to a other fantasy league over the dopey app. I like that this version doesn't open with video clips that take forever to load. My favorite feature this year is pulling up "player news" on my team, I can scroll from left to right and read news on all my players, don't have to open up 13 window pop-ups. That feature is better than the web, actually.

It's real simple, everything you need to know about any sport or fantasy team right on one page.

Also, if your looking for a status bar to let you know how many of your players haven't started their game yet without clicking on your team, it ain't there because there is too much of a difference between kicker, defense, tight end not started yet and quarterback, receiver not started yet. Other then that, it's a masterpiece.

Love the app and everything about it! Well done with everyone thing. It it so easy to join a completely customizable league or create one yourself. If you have a competitive edge and would like to earn bragging rights against your friends and family, this app is perfect for you. You can do everything with this app that a computer allows you to do which makes this app awesome. There is no need to worry about your fantasy player or roster as all of the important information is readily available and up to date. Player injuries are all up to date as well as real time scores. I can make roster changes instantly and I'm always in the loop with what's going on. This is truly a great app.

I always liked the Yahoo fantasy app, but the new changes they made has made this app a must-have. Fantasy football now shows player ratings, sit or start, and match ups against opponents with the standard color on the rank of the team. All of these tools were only available online on the site, but now are right at your fingertips to make your team the best out there. Five out of five stars easily.

Yahoo still has the best format and tools for fantasy football! I'm in an ESPN league, in addition to my Yahoo leagues, and ESPN is just pure awful. You can't go into future weeks to pre-set lineups, can't do waiver wires till the freaking week is over (basically if your player plays he is locked till the weekly reset meaning you can't add/drop them for a waiver)

Yahoo is light years ahead!

Please add live projections in the football leagues. It would be helpful to see that extra info in the app. Great app either way and simple to use.

Excellent additions thanks for noticing this request. Please add the bar that shows which team is the favorite/underdog to win the matchup like on the web. That would be handy for users mainly mobile. This is still a great app.

This version is dramatically better for me being able to opponent rankings for each player every week. Now 5 stars. Everything is very easy. I would only ask for a better way to follow all teams on game days with fantasy points in totals for each game. Like ESPN. Also please add player search options that include projections for all weeks like on a computer version of yahoo. Thanks

I used to have a lot of complaints about this app, but currently it's worked beautifully for this years league. I even had to draft off the app this year. I do understand the frustration with research but I'm also realistic about an apps functionality. I usually save that for the computer. Hopefully in the future they will add that functionality but for the meantime I am satisfied.

I've been asking for two years to get the opponent added to the player card so you can look at future match ups before picking up a player (key especially when looking at Def to add) and finally, the addition has arrived. But they made it even better! Adding in the relevant opponent rank vs the position is a nice addition and I'm glad they took the extra step. Thank you Yahoo!
