I first heard about Flickr a few months ago, but never looked into it until a friend of mine suggested I use it to showcase my photos. This was the best decision I ever made, I love how the developers took the time to include the info of each image as far as camera settings, and they even have an area where you can view photos taken by specific camera types and even have the prices of said cameras if you want to buy one. I'll be using this app for a long time.

Flickr was truly ground-breaking when it offered a terabyte of free space! I love that the app an be set to automatically upload my photos to a private folder. This is an invaluable service and I have recommended it numerous times. I wish it had a bit better video saving options - videos currently cut off at the 3 minute mark and they are clearly not as high of a priority as the full-resolution, complete with EXIF, photo portion of the app.

Hands down the best photo sharing app for photographers. The active and inspiring community of photographers is what keeps me coming back everyday. Genuine feedback, comments and friendly people make the app enjoyable and rewarding while the key meta data and exposure triangle available to each image is something people into photos love checking out and getting greater insight into other people images. I admit, I’m a Flickr addict

Flickr is absolutely amazing these days. I don't use the social aspect of the service but even without that it blows away Apple's built-in photos app and especially the expensive and ridiculously limited iCloud photo sharing.

The support for videos and the virtually unlimited storage space make it a must-have.

My only requests are now the ability to reorder photos in albums in the app and automatic background uploading (if possible).

Flickr app, where were you in 2010!? Instagram stole your thunder for mobile sharing.

2016 resolution is to bring my photography back to Flickr, through this app. Flickr is an ecosystem beyond its raw features: full rez, zoomable images (archive of originals), deep tagging, powerful web-based management, and integrations/plugins with various image workflow & photo editors.

Fingers crossed Yahoo doesn't take it down with the ship.

This is a great place to put your photos and get feedback from a worldwide community of photographers.

I wish the app would let me search in groups with the keyboard (scrolling takes a long time). Or just a simple list, the photo one looks nice but most groups left their default icon so what's the point really? Simple list with a jump list for speedy movement would be brilliant.

There is no better photo community in the world!

My wife and I installed the app on all our devices and logged in with the same account. FINALLY an effortless way to backup and sync ALL our millions of family photos. For free. Really surprised even Apple has never figure out how to do this sans the headache. Full disclosure, I work for Yahoo but there was a time my review was much different. Flickr has really been upgraded recently and it shows in how useful it is day to day.

Just this past year I started really using Flickr to put all of my trip photos "out there"! I was really pleased with a lot of them, and hated for them just to stuck on my computer or phone. I figured other photographers and travel geeks might enjoy them, and I was right! I have over 300 followers who are always ready to provide some words of encouragement as well as share their wonderful photos with me. I am addicted...

It's a great app for photo sharing. It lets you quickly and easily set who can and can not view your photos. The interface is clean, sleek, and easy to use. So is the web interface to the service. But most importantly, you maintain ownership of the rights to your own photographs. You can rest easy knowing that the pictures you upload of your daughter won't wind up on the side of a bus in a third world country!

Whether you are on an iPad or an iPhone this app just flows beautifully. I personally use both and I haven't experienced any crashes but I do not use it to upload pictures. I stick to my computer for uploading picture while on the app I just explore and fav. Overall I recommend this app for people who enjoy Flickr and want a smooth experience when exploring the many beautiful pictures that can be found on there.

I've been on Flickr now for well over 2 years and love it,as an amateur photographer it's a great place to showcase your work and meet like minded individuals. I do like the nudity is not an issue because to me nudity is an art and the other photographers are very tasteful in what they post.

I've also meet many other cell phone photographers such as my self so a great place to learn new tricks!

I really like the refresh; upload just works, easy to use, camera role is familiar. Can't beat loading up all of your Full Resolution photos and videos. Beats all of the competition. Apple iCloud costs you $, the new Google Photos app is free for lower resolution uploads and $ for full resolution. So hands down getting 1tb of free space with a great app is AWESOME!! Props to the Flickr team.

The improvements are very well appreciated, Flickr Team! I thought I'd re-download the app to see how the new update "feels" and looks like - I love it. I'm glad that the app focuses more on the photos and not the group discussions. Not everyone participates in these and I think it will be an unnecessary addition and will only benefit a few. If I wanted to do this I'd rather use my laptop.

The auto uploaded is a killer feature and it works really well most of the time. It still hangs for me occasionally when I've got large video files trying to upload.

The interface is great. The features are good. This app has pretty much everything I want from it

The other thing I hope to see in future releases is the magic view and camera roll features from Flickr's desktop app.

First of all I never write reviews. Unfortunately not as many users as Instagram, but the ability to post full frame photos at such high quality is great. In addition to the groups and threads available to ask questions and talk to other photographers makes this app really appealing. Been using it for about 5 years now and it's a great medium to showcase/document my photography.

I'm a long-time user and supporter of Flickr. My 28,000 Flickr photos have over 20 million views. I think the things that Flickr has done with this interface and applications is absolutely fantastic. Years back I even created an interface for Flickr to use on the web to create online albums called Flickrskins. What they've done lately blows that old technology out of the water.

I have been on Flickr since 2008 so I have weathered some of the changes that caused some of my friends to jump ship. I gave it a chance and after getting used to any changes I love it even more. I live in a small town and Flickr has given me opportunities to connect with people from all over the world, not to mention the beautiful global images I get to see. Thanks, Flickr!

For years I have been trying to find the perfect solution for keeping my 14 years of digital photos safe. No cloud service offered anything sufficient. Flickr is just awesome.
I saw one reviewer give 1 star because they claim it uploaded all of their photos automatically. Stop whining. You were prompted when you launched the app. Know what you are downloading first.

I like this app because it does everything I need related to my Flikr account on a phone. People that say it doesn't do what their computer does are missing the point. All my pics are there as well as those by the photographers I follow. I can check my groups, explore, follow up on comments, perfect for being on the go during the day. Great new look and feel.
