I have tried a number of Texting Apps on the market, and many have some cumbersome interface that makes texting impractical. There are no ads to contend with to limit the real estate of the screen.

Please revert this app to an earlier version, one from roughly a year ago! This app was amazing when I first got it about a year ago, but now the authors keep making what they call "improvements". Now it crashes and glitches constantly. Every time i click on the icon, it opens to the text now logo and then crashes, when i open it the second time it does the same this, i have to repeat this process 3 or 4 times before it works! When it final opens up correctly, it shows that you are looking at a conversation but everything is missing, sometimes it shows up and sometimes I have to do a forced shut down. Other times it just doesn't respond and then crashes. I cant send pictures anymore, and i usually don't get them either. It used to be awesome and never did this! What happened?

Functionally, it makes no difference which area code you pick. As long as your friends are in the USA, they will not be charged any long distance.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

TextNow offers auto-renewing 1 month and 1 year in-app subscriptions for premium features like voicemail transcription and call forwarding.

Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase, and will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

Your iTunes Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the subscription period, at the original subscription price & term.

You can turn off auto-renew or manage your subscription at any time from your iTunes Account settings. Refunds will not be provided for the unused portion of the term.

So on Wednesday night I was feeling all sad that me and my friend had no way of communication. So I just went into the Top 25 and just kept scrolling down until I found this one app that we didn't try. So, the next day when I went over her house, I showed her the app. We set the app up and then tested it.
