CSI CENTENARY WESLEY CHURCH, RAMKOTE
“For now, I have chosen and consecrated this house that My Name may be there\nforever. My eyes and My heart will be there for all time.” – 2 Chronicles 7:16‘The Mega Church’, a dream that we as a congregation had seen finally came to see its day on the 25th of December 2020. It was back in 2007 when God had enabled us to first lay the foundation for this Sanctuary of His. It took us 13 years, continuous prayers and unshakable faith in Christ to finally build and dedicate to the Lord, our Church. It was The Lord alone who had helped us overcome the many obstacles that came our way. In 2007, under the guidance of Rev. B. Winston, we began with the\nground-breaking and in 2020, under the leadership of Rev. Dr U Daniel, we entered our New Church. We hold the old structure dearly but also look forward to bringing glory and praise to Christ in this new Church.
On the blessed occasion of Christmas, when the entire world celebrates the birth of our Redeemer, we are dedicated to Him, this Church that belongs to Him, to Christ, our Lord. Amid the pandemic, God led us to conduct this program successfully. On the morning of 25 th , the Clergy and Dignitaries consisting of – The Most Rev. A. Dharmaraj Rasalam (Moderator, CSI Synod), The Rt. Rev. A.C Solomon (Bishop in Medak), Rev.Dr. U. Daniel (Presbyter in Charge), Rev. B. Solomon Raj (Presbyter), Rev. N. Jayraj, Rev. Kiran Kumar and Sri. Md. Mohamod Ali (Home, Prisons and Fire Services Minister, Govt of Telangana) and Mr. Talasani Srinivas along with the Pastorate Committee members had received a warm welcome as they entered the Church premises. After Blessing and congratulating the members, The Most Rev. A. Dharmaraj Rasalam had cut the ribbon and led the congregation into the Holy Sanctuary. It was indeed a moment of great emotion and joy for the congregation. Gracing the occasion and part-taking in our happiness were – Rev. Dr T. Bhaskar, Rev. Prasanna, Mr Anjani Kumar. IPS (Police Commissioner, Hyderabad), Rev. Prashanth (Presbyter in Charge, St. Georges Church), Ms. (Corporator of Abids), Mrs Sravanti (GHMC), Mr Builder and many other notable members.
The Most Rev. A. Dharmaraj Rasalam delivered the Christmas message and greeted the congregation. Our Bishop, The Rt. Rev A.C Solomon and our Presbyter in Charge, Rev. Dr. U. Daniel and other presbyters had extended their congratulations and Christmas greetings to the members. The Church Choir played their role in making this day a success. Members of the Youth Fellowship and Children from the Sunday School had presented songs on this occasion. All the\ndignitaries were then felicitated by the Pastorate Committee members. Later, after the service, we as one Church had part taken in the fellowship lunch.
In all these years, we could only plan, but it was God alone who permitted this Church to be built. In Literal words, Our Church is built upon a rock. And we know that Jesus, our Rock, our Cornerstone is always looking upon His Church. He has been gracious in His love towards our congregation and we stand as a testimony to it. We constantly pray that in the years to come, this Church will be a place of true worship and revival. We believe that God built this Church not to just stand tall, but to turn sinners and through faith, they may be saved. Throughout the process, the way the members came forward with donations and help in kind is something that will always be encouraging. It shows how much we love and wish to serve our Church. We wish to grow in Ministry in this new Church. We continue to pray that God uses CSI Centenary Wesley Church, Ramkote for His purpose, His Glory and may His righteousness and Grace always be upon our congregation.
