GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT KOPPERMANN AND THE TEX-DEFINE™ GO APP

Koppermann has been developing leading software solutions for the fashion and apparel industry for over 20 years. The app TEX-DEFINE™ GO is the mobile extension of the Product Lifecycle Management solutions TEX-DEFINE™ and JUMPSTART PLM and can only be used in combination with these applications. Private use without database access is not possible.

WHAT CAN TEX-DEFINE™ GO?

TEX-DEFINE™ GO offers the possibility to take photos and to equip them directly with process relevant parameters. Whether you want to explore the latest trends on a store check trip or make corrections quickly and easily during the sampling phase of your collection: the app supports you!

The captured and pre-categorized images are quickly and easily loaded directly into your PLM application, where they are available to all users.

SO WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF TEX-DEFINE™ GO?

The app helps especially users in the fashion and apparel industry to structure their daily tasks and creative processes in a meaningful and sustainable way and especially to bring order into the creative chaos. Great ideas are often quickly captured on a smartphone and then stored on a local storage medium. In the best case, they are eventually moved to a server or computer, in the worst case they remain unused and forgotten on the mobile device.
TEX-DEFINE™ GO prevents exactly this unwanted data loss and brings order to photos and ideas.

HOW EXACTLY IS THE APP USED?

First, simply take a photo! This can be done directly from the app or via the normal camera function of the smartphone. Once the picture has been taken, it can be edited in the app and provided with additional information, for example, to which brand or season the picture is assigned. Date, time and location of the picture can also be captured automatically.
All previously saved images are then combined in a PICTURE LIBERAY and can be filtered according to the categories stored there. Thanks to different display formats in list- or gallery look, all images can be found quickly and easily and you get a great overview.

HOW DO THE PICTURES GET TO THE HEADQUARTERS?

The app is directly linked to the existing PLM application on site and every user is registered. The upload of the images can then be done either conveniently as a mass upload or selectively as a single upload.
