Learn Math & Earn Pocket Money [iPhone]

ATTENTION! The app only keeps records of earned money (based on correctly solved examples). Parents set a reward for each math task. And parents pay out cash to theirs kids.

I made this app for my daughter to motivate her to learn arithmetic and to solve math tasks with fluency. And it worked out perfectly for her and for my friends' kids! Now I am sharing my app with everybody for free.

Learn Math & Earn Pocket Money app lets children earn pocket money with their own brain (parents pay their own money to kids). Of course, you can use this app without mentioning money (more about this mode below).

▶ EASY TO USE

1. A parent creates a password for the parental section of the app.
2. A parent sets a reward (and currency) for each type of a math task.
3. A kid solves math tasks with pleasure and earns money increasing their fluency.
4. A parent pays their own money to their kid (in cash).

▶ HOW IT WORKS

Think of this app as a virtual account. A child is able to put money into this account automatically by solving math tasks. The app keeps records of earned money (based on correctly solved tasks) and money that has been paid out.

Kids see an instant result/effect (like with common games) and it motivates them to do math again and again. Additionally, kids get REAL money in cash from parents (this is true for all currencies except bitcoin - read about it below), which motivates them even more because kids can feel the notes in their hands and spend the money.

▷ It is IMPORTANT for parents to understand that they are not paying money for doing homework. Instead, you are rewarding their children for extra practice. Kids spend their spare time practicing math with the app.

▷ THE MAIN PARENTS’ RESPONSIBILITY is to pay cash to kids in time. If you fail to pay, your kid could lose their motivation. All you need is enter the parental section and pay their earned money (the parent must give real money to the kid).

▶ WITHOUT MONEY

Interestingly, you can freely use my app without telling kids about money. Children are happy to solve tasks even without stimulation with money because the game itself is fun to play and is addictive. That is why you don’t need to use money as victory points.

▶ DIFFERENT DIFFICULTY LEVELS

I designed the app for kids with different math skills:

▷ 3+1=? or 8-?=3
Arithmetic within 5 or 10 to help kids sum and subtract with fluency.

▷ 356-174=? or 9+32=?
Count above ten. When kids do sums in column they develop understanding of the units, tens, hundreds and how to jump over ten.

▷ 2×6=? or 63÷7=?
Multiplication table and division. The app helps your kid to solve multiplication task fluently.

▶ HIGHSCORE TABLE

Thanks to the built-in automatic timer and a high score table, children can compete against themselves trying to improve their previous record and see their progress.

▶ MEMORY

The better kid trains memory (by doing arithmetic), the faster he/she can solve tasks.
