Playing it mainly on my iPad Air and it plays very smooth, quick loads, and can pick up the game and play it on my iPhone 6 plus by uploading the data to iCloud then downloading it on the device. It plays best on the iPad with no black side bars because of the display ratio. I still have the PSP and PS version and this is an awesome addition with looks cleaner and loads much faster. I love this game and am glad to see it has finally been brought to IOS. Can't wait for the remake, just hope they don't mess it up.

Excellent port to iOS, sometimes a little buggy but not game breaking. I've bought this for the original PS1, then on Steam, bought it for my Vita, and now iOS. I'm definitely a fan. One thing I wish it has was a quick save type option. If I get a call or check a text and go back to the game it restarts and looses progress sometimes, which is a bit annoying.

It does it on my iPhone 6 plus and having no apps open in the multitasking menu doesn't fix the restart problem like I originally hoped.

My favorite game of all time finally I can play wherever I want. There's a button on screen to disable random encounters so that's there to temp you all the time...very temping. Controls took some getting used to and I'm sure choco racing will be frustrating with the screen controls as apposed to a controller but it will be well worth it. If you love this game, get it. If you've never played this game, get it. Best story line in a game I've ever played; and I'm 30 with no life, ha!

Great game. I wrote a long review but it said my name was taken and deleted my paragraph... So now the summary, Amazing game, i made it pretty far and then realized that the x button which isn't used that much doesn't always register. I wasn't able to go into the menu and press X to retrieve the materia from other party. Please fix this one bug (which prevented me from fighting rufus without going into godmode) and it'll be a perfect port! (Maybe also add landscape rotations)

Been waiting 20 years to play this game on something handheld. Finally!! Never has a video game captured my imagination or my heart like FF7 has. Well worth the price. Don't listen to any haters. It's an excellent port. Not only can you transfer your save with iCloud. There's an auto-save feature as well. After finding out that the upcoming remake is going to be released episodically, and using an action-style battle system, this may turn out to be my consolation prize.

Point blank my most favorite and memorable RPG game ever made! Controls UI needs to be updated. Also it's beyond strange how they allow you to turn on cheat from the moment you start to play the game as in: max stats along with lvl 99 and turning encounters on and off.....I'm grinding the same way I did when this was on the play station lol. Overall if I were you when it comes to the flaws, don't sweat it because you update will come out as much as possible

I honestly don't have any idea why people are getting so fed up about the mobile version of ff7.
It's actually one of the best ports I've played. Sure it does cost you quite a sum of money and it needs a lot of space but those are the only problems I don't like, and they're not even that big of a problem. The gameplay is just as it was as on the pc and PlayStation version. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone :).

I was a huge fan of this game growing up and having it on my phone is awesome. Honestly I still haven't even beat it but this game offers so many hours of fun and yeah it gets frustrating but that's the fun of it. 10/10 great game and love having it on the phone. The controls on some parts are a little hard and kind of restrict you but it's on a phone what can you expect. Any ways great game worth the money for hours of fun.

Final fantasy 7 is my all time favorite, can't wait for the remake series. Only thing I think could be fixed is controller scheme. Final fantasy 9's (mobile) controls are way less clunky then the emulation styler controls on this game.
Other wise thanks for the PC port. Just waiting for the most emotional final fantasy for me now (FF8, but definitely needs a graphic revamp).

For all who have played Final Fantasy 7 for the PS/1 this is the exact same version. For those who have not played Final Fantasy 7 do not expect advanced controls, saves or graphics. If you are expecting nice little auto saves or other little fancies that the new systems have you will not have them, this is a PS/1 reboot not a remake thank you.

I have final fantasy 1-7 on my freaking phone and dragon quest 1-6 and 8. This is the future people!! Now we need final fantasy 8 and 9 and dragon quest vii. Come on Square-Enix you can do it!!! Haha.

Edit holy crap you are bringing 9 and dragon quest 7 to the west. I love you guys so much! Maybe chrono Chross next????

This is by far my favorite Final Fantasy game and this IOS port nailed it to perfection. I read the negative reviews about lagginess and other glitches and have found none of those issues in my game play. I can't put it down. I only hope that they port over FF9 next.

Just bought this for iOS. It's great being able to play on the phone. I would purchase it again for the Apple TV if I could, along with a few others of the series. The nostalgia alone is worth it, but they're also still quite a bit of fun!

Excellent however with today's technology can't there be an on the go save, mobile devices should have ability to save on the go considering you're not sitting at home at you ps1 on your box television

Fun game and fun on iOS but please enhance the save system, I lost a saved game and haven't been motivated to play since I'm looking for update to bolster saves and make them more reliable

I have no trouble this is great, I have waited a long time for this game and it didn't disappoint Love it, controls are good.
