Q: How can I use this credit score?
A: Your free Credit Tracker score from TransUnion is a good reference point for your current credit standing. This informational/educational score is not used for credit or lending decisions.

Q: Can everyone access the Credit Tracker app?
A: No. For right now, only Capital One customers who have a current online account for most Capital One products or services can access the Credit Tracker app. Some customers with Small Business Bank, Small Business Card, co-branded cards, and Sharebuilder accounts may not be able to access the Credit Tracker app at this time. But don't worry, we're working hard to bring this product to everyone - stay tuned for more news.

Q: I'm already enrolled in Capital One Credit Tracker. Can I use the same username and password?
A: Yes. If you've already enrolled in Credit Tracker, use the same username and password that you use to sign in to service your accounts on CapitalOne.com or to access the Capital One Mobile servicing app.

Q: How often is my score updated?
A: Starting with your first visit, your score is updated every 30 days but no more than once a month. Please note, you must log in at least once a month to receive an updated score. You can log in to Credit Tracker as often as you like to view your credit history, see credit alerts, review your grade overview, or use the Credit Simulator tool.

Q: Where does this score come from?
A: Your Credit Tracker score is calculated based on the TransUnion New Account Model. The model utilizes information in your TransUnion credit report, which may include your bill pay history, amount of available credit, number and age of open accounts, recent credit activity, etc. Credit Tracker provides an educational score courtesy of TransUnion, one of three nationwide credit bureaus, and uses only credit report information from the TransUnion database.

Q: Does using Credit Tracker impact my credit score?
A: No. You can utilize all of Credit Tracker's free tools and features without impacting your score.
