Defenders 2: Tower Defense CCG [iPad]

This is a nice TD game. You gather cards representing your towers and merge and upgrade them to progress. There are ways to get the good cards without paying if you have just a little patience. You can watch videos to get free boosters and upgrade your cards.

The game is a bit slow starting off but once you get into the level 10 and up range its get REALLY fun. I haven't spent a dime yet. This game doesn't constantly ask me to spend money to progress (Unlike other game such as CoC, Dragon Vale and more.)

ABSOLUTELY zero need to pay money. Flipping amazing. I have spent nothing at all and played this game casually (sometimes not casually) for a very long time. Anyone who complains is just whining

Having never played any predecessors. I jumped right into Defenders 2. With it's solid gameplay, in-depth strategies, and deep customization. I quickly became a fan.

I've been at this darn game since it was released... And I love it. I can't put this one down. The unlimited hard modes (finish a battle flawlessly and try again with the next notch up in difficulty)

The last update went a long way to help free to play players. You get daily stars and other daily rewards on a monthly calendar. Levels respawn so you always have levels to play.

A few suggestions:

Often sequels are ruined because the writers either felt they had to add more gimmicks to the game and end up ruining it or they do nothing different resulting in a boring game. Neither happened here.

This game is very fun, missing a few components that would make it more easily accessible (no button to view progress of daily sign in), but it doesnt deviate from the gameplay. Hard difficulty scales

This is like your regular defense games but just a little more different. This one challanges you and forces you to only place defenders in certain areas leaving to stratergize exactly which defender

I'm really enjoying this game. It is challenging but I've been able to beat every level (45 now) through strategy and trial and error. The boss nerf helps too so you an still beat the stage even with a tough boss.

Great tower defense game, you can really get sucked into the gameplay. I do miss the storyline - what happened to the antagonist at the end of Defenders 1? Maybe I'm just not far enough into the game,

The animations are on point, gameplay can be fast or slow and adjusts to the player. Some levels are deceptively simple, and like to trick the player.

Options, customization and endless waves of monsters to slay.

Very playable at the basic version without spending money , But I spent a few bucks just to support the company for making a great game.

This is simply the best Tower Defense game!

Great graphics and very smooth game play, and a great mix of card collecting keep this game interesting and fun.

Love this game, and I'm not writing this bc of some in-game offer. I've been playing for over a month, and this game deserved a review. If you love TD, you'll dig it.
