This app has become indispensable for me, as I can now photograph entire pages from a paper book and look up unknown words on the fly. It’s actually more elegant than my previous method, which was reading on a Kindle.

One big request: since the camera feature requires internet, can you add a feature to preload multiple photos and have them pre-parsed and able to be recalled without a connection? I just flew out of Japan for the holidays all excited to get reading done on that long flight, and was stuck.

This dictionary is great for study. There are lots of examples to grasp - meaning, grammar and stroke order. I can practice writing in the app. Overall, It’s All round learning app. It’s my go to app when I am stuck. The various example sentences helps me to grasp the meaning of each kanji whenever I get stuck with the definitions. This app is definitely a holistic approach to learning kanji

I have been using this app every day for 3 months. I’m almost finished with the grade 4 and jlpt n3 decks. Can we please have a counter for the kanji we have learned. Ex. 650/2000 (or whatever the total number is). It would give users an idea of where they are at and how much they still need learn. Thanks for making this app.

I take photos of book’s pages and read them through this app. It’s amazing performance.

Please make a small improvement. When I read text from an image, I can tap the search button to find some words, but after there is no way to return to the image.

Fix it please.

It’s the best app that I have come across and it really helps me a lot .I think anyone who wishes to learn Japanese from online stores should go for this .this is the only app which gives a comprehensive and deep knowledge of Japanese language .very good job!

Especially the premium version (never tried the free version) is just unparalleled. Combines Anki, stroke order, pitch accent, and anything else you might need in an absolutely smooth way. It’s clear that this app was written by someone who is also a user.

I have to correspond in Japanese language every day. (Email, Facebook, etc.) This app is a tremendous help with that.

We can find so many words(単語)for the same word.Also guide for the best matches and the additional matches.I love this app.BUT NEED SOME PLACE TO IMPROVE...add some DOODLE recognizer and the Voice recognizer then it will be more fun to use

A really good dictionary app. However, if you accidentally click on “Try the Safari Extension,” there is no way to get back to the actual app. Had to completely delete and redownload. A really dumb bug thatneeds fixing.

This app is very helpful in learning Kanji and Vocabulary together !! Can't thank enough !!! Don't think twice this is the best app if you wanna learn and improve your Japanese level !!!

I love this app and have been using it everyday since around March. But can we please have a stat counter for how many vocabulary cards and kanji cards we have in the review deck. Thanks

Hands down, the best Japanese-English dictionary app out there. I recommend paying for the upgrade; the flash cards and other features are great for memorization practice, too

I have used many apps but i never used to get these many example sentences which makes it easier to understand the meaning and remember the words that you learn.

The flash cards safari integration for every single word I had to look up is brilliant ! My Japanese has improved exponentially since I started to use this app
