Recently I was on a boating trip to Norris Lake, TN. We were anchored out in the middle of the lake, not a cloud in the sky... I had my iPhone plugged into the speaker system on the boat and myself and 13 other buddies were swimming around in the middle without a care in the world.....all of a sudden, BEEP BEEP BEEP went over the loud speakers and everyone was like, what the hell was that??? I was quick to reply to everyone, "guys....we better get to packing our stuff and getting shelter, there's a severe thunderstorm in the area" - needless to say, within 10/15 minutes an absolute monsoon hit us. Because of this app all of our stuff was saved from getting soaked and nobody was stuck swimming during the storm. I highly recommend this app to anyone and everyone.

There are two options when using this app: select up to five locations you want to monitor, or turn location services on to monitor your location. Either choice (or both, if you wish) will allow you to receive national weather service alerts. I've found this useful - the first alert was a bit startling, as a recorded voice started to read the alert, but I've come to like it. You can pick and choose (to a very fine degree) what alerts you wish to receive. I've used it for several days now and gifted it to a relative in the tornado belt. Definitely worth a try if you want to receive alerts on the go.

I've had this app on my iPhone for about 1 year and been happy with it. Just downloaded it onto my new iPad Air and so far I like it. Seems that the phone version is slightly more comprehensive but I'm fine with that. Last night it gave an audible alert the national weather service just issued a winter storm watch for our area.
That's one of the man reasons I like the app as last year on a summer we got a tornado warning alert just after midnight that jarred me out of my sleep with it announcing, "take cover". If you ask me, that's what a weather radio app is all about.

This app is great. Local TV didn't tell me anything useful, surprisingly! The alarm on the app went off for my specific location, however, and gave me the heads up on a severe thunderstorm, otherwise I wouldn't have known until it was on top of us. 15 minutes later all hell broke loose. Winds, pea-sized hail...the works. Thanks to the alarm on the app, I had enough time to put things away outside and get the pets indoors. If you are in an area where severe weather can crop up fast, and if you use and iPad (as I do) or iPhone, this is a "must have" app for home safety.

The new update makes the app more usable on a day to day basis for radar and forecast. The alerts still work great and let me know if there is a warning exactly where I am (not just in the county.). It took a few minutes to figure out where things were in the new version, but I really like it after a few days.

My family loves using this app. When we go camping, we know what weather to expect. Now with the share feature, I can send my mother a screen cap to show her that we are or are not in a bad storm. Thanks for the app.

Oh thank god they finally updated the UI, the last one was horrible. Now it looks like and, more importantly, behaves like a iOS app. Everything is much more clear and obvious, especially the setting pages.

This weather app has all the same weather info that many weather apps have, BUT, it loads much quicker, is much easier to use and gives audio weather warnings for 5 locations you pick. A definite winner!

This is by far the best weather radar app for iPhone hands down. It's clean and simple user interface makes it super easy to see the current conditions and plan your day around the weather.

Love the very specific alerts. I only get notified if the weather alert really impacts me as compared to the alerts in most of the other weather apps like weather channel. Nice job!

My favorite aspect: When I open my phone in the morning, if there are is weather that will impact my day, or that I need to be aware of, it will pop up in notifications!

I love getting advanced notice for severe weather. Tornado watch, freezing rain, even wind storms. I love this app. Totally reliable and worth every penny!
