Of all the Brit music mags I subscribe to (future music, computer music, and their specials). SOS is the smoothest to read. The photos are interactive, and the articles scroll vertically, preserving the continuity quite nicely. It never feels like I'm looking at a scanned page. Not to mention all url's work with just a tap (and the browsing stays inside the app) as well as audio clips relevant to the articles are embedded and activated with just a tap. Wicked!

This App is free to download and will enable you to view our Free Trial Issue and purchase either single issues or a 12-month subscription.

Sound On Sound is the world's best recording technology magazine, packed full of in-depth, independent product tests, including music software, studio hardware, keyboards and live sound (PA) gear. Every issue also includes SOS's unique step-by-step tutorial and technique columns on all the leading DAW programs, as well as insightful interviews with leading producers, engineers and musicians.

Featuring all the content of the print edition of Sound On Sound — and sometimes more! — this is a fully bespoke iPad App, offering both enhanced readability and interactivity (the amount of interactive content may vary from issue to issue.

Download each issue to your device and read without need for an internet connection.

* Buy single issues using In-App Purchase.
* Subscribe for 12 months using In-App Purchase (starts with current issue shown in iTunes).

Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your iTunes Account > Settings screen after purchase.

No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
