Fantastic app .I am able to follow all the action when I am able and the imformation on results and times enables me to nearly read the minds of those still in contention for the Yellow Jersey.I am an old fella who has taken this technology and run faster than a sprinter going for a stage win .I have purchased the official magazines before the tours for any years but I am able to find everything I need quicker on my Ipad.
The comentry from the SBS crew ,Phil L and Mike T and the young lads make July in Sydney's cold winter OK.
You could add POI comentry like the Live TV to look back on and you could have links to sponsors to cover cost .I am surprised that no Campervan company isn't front and center advertising on the tour .The app has opened many possibilities .It's a beauty!

This app is nothing short of splendid. We were in Macon looking for information on the routing of the stage. The Tour people there were only dealing with the festivities that affected Macon, and they had no idea about the rest of the stage, it's route or anything helpful. Our conversation was overheard by an Aussie guy who showed us how to download the tracker and use it and we were set. We made our way to a little village prior to the first climb of the day, and spent it with the locals in a fun, non crowded atmosphere, and of course were we centre stage as we could give updates on what was happening out on the road. Really memorable, not possible without the tracker. Well done SBS top notch job. Cheers Anne from Melbourne

This years tour tracker is one of the best yet. I love it how you can watch any stage live on your phone or computer instead of the TV. Another reason why I love this years tour tracker is because you can check who teams have selected to ride in the TDF and what country they are from, their bib number and also their team. It's also great that you can look at what a certain rider has achieved in his career by looking at their profile. It's also great that you can check out what the next stage is going to be and what type of rider it suits best. I believe the creators of this app have done a great job and I'm definitely giving it a 5/5.

After looking at the tragic attempt at a MotoGP app, I was a little apprehensive that SBS (Australia) might fall short on this Tour de France app. SBS have been true believers when it comes to soccer (football in Europe) and the TdF, so I hoped this might help.

It did. It is a lovely smooth app with no dead ends (and by that I mean those situations where you know you have seen something cool but can't find it because it's buried in some obscure end of the logic tree). The key to great programming is to keep it simple, as the first second and third directive.

This is a beautiful app. Would SBS so one for MotoGP?

What a great app. It shows live video of the tour every night, a profile of the course with the peloton and any breakaways, text updates and heaps of other information. You can find stats about all the riders, all the teams, all the courses, everything you want. I couldn't think of any features this app should include that it doesn't already.

SBS just keeps getting better; this year their coverage is better than ever and the app is the best sporting app I've used. I haven't heard of anyone following the tour that isn't using this app and loving it.

It's so good I'd be happy to pay for it.

Simply amazing, the right mix of information on screen coupled with faultless streaming video. World class coverage, totally free!

Also works great as a secondary info source if you're watching on a regular TV. Perhaps have an option to remove the video window & let the Map and/or Profile use the extra space.

Another little gripe/suggestion, make the Profile view zoomable similar to the Map view. The next level would be to provide context sensitive information when you hold your finger on a section of the Profile.

I had last years app and yes it is the best sports one around and free to boot. However, I know it can't be helped but I am positive that last year we had no ad breaks like this year so I'm a touch disappointed. I know the tv has them, but I am positive the app showed racing and thats it, no pop up ads at the bottom of the screen either. However it's still a great app and I can watch the race anywhere especially in bed on these cold winter nights. The SBS crew are the best. Go Cadel make it back to back.

I don't watch the highlights on the app (as I watch them on TV), but I love the way almost everything I could possibly want to look up (stats, rider search, every stage detail) has been considered. It complements the tv coverage while watching. There's info to learn more about cycling (I'm a fan, not an expert). And even the ability to reduce update frequency to conserve battery. Wish other sports apps (esp. afl & cricket) were as detailed and clever. I think its a great, well-thought out app.

So that now this app is quite excellent. The attention to detail and functionality is impressive. Great live coverage, really useful team and rider information, knowledgable descriptions and explanations. Intuitive to use, doesn't require super bike or tech knowledge. Can't imagine doing a Tour without SBS and Tour Tracker. And on top of this, it's brought harmony into a one TV home: thank you. X

Has loads of information and if you can't see any or all of a stage you can get up to date times and standing. Easy to use, faultless, I love it and use it several times a day. Congratulation SBS for making an excellent source for bike fans to stay on top of all the action and details, very well done. I love it; thank you

Great tool to use to obtain information on riders when watching coverage on TV. Definitely one of the best aps!

SBSs TDF app is absolutely superb. The live video feed coupled with course data makes following the race awesome.

The combo of the app and their TV coverage is also useful - although the slight lag in previous years was a bit annoy..

This app is pretty much perfect. It contains every bit of info you'd ever want about the Tour. Add to that live video coverage each night and you're all set! I highly recommend TdF fans download this immediately.

This App works perfectly. I can stream the SBS video and get loads of stage data. Access to previous stage replays would be amazing, but for a free App it is a great job. Bravo!

This app makes it so easy to find out where each stage is up to without having to search through websites or turn on the TV. A one stop shop for the Tour de France. I love it!

This app is easily the best sport app ive ever downloaded. It has amazing content and an impeccable live report system. It has never failed me and I have yet to find a flaw
