My family has had the pleasure of having Comcast Security in our lives for about 2 1/2 years. The App is continually improving allowing you to monitor your home no matter where you are. We recently spent a family vacation 10 hours away and our home security was triggered. With the App, we were able to instantly view the cameras we have installed. Once an alarm is triggered, each camera immediately takes a 5 picture burst to see if anyone was caught in frame. We were able to watch the cameras real time from 10 hours away and watch the police systematically search our house for signs of entry and were kept up to date by Comcast Central Alarm as to the findings from the police. All doors and windows were secured and since the new cameras they offer record 24/7 and store the last 10 days in the cloud at all times, we were able to literally watch the offender (in this case a bat) fly around our house and trigger motion sensors. From the time the alarm was triggered to police arrival was literally under 2 1/2 minutes. It was a huge relief to know our belongings weren't being loaded into a panel van and taken from us and we also learned that we have bats in the attic. The system and the App are INVALUABLE and I personally, highly, recommend the system
and the App to anyone who is on the fence.

I use my Xfinity home app all day long. And I have three cameras which I get to watch my family constantly while I'm at work which makes me feel like I'm not missing much. I sell xfinity door-to-door using a brand-new iPad which my company supplies this is a great tool at showing off our Xfinity home security features as well as showing off how I can see the inside of my house at any time, that is kind of cool to the average person ! If you're techie probably not impressive for you because you probably already have the latest up-to-date gadgets available and know your system inside and out. Our new X1 system makes everyone a pro in minutes with the voice remote. All I can say is if you have a new device everything works flawlessly but then again I don't have a bunch of apps on here that may be conflicting with something. My Samsung phone everything works great on there and my work iPhone works good too they're all within a year old ! If you see one of the field reps from Xfinity in the field they can answer any of your questions that you may have about the new X1 service.! Most of us know our stuff and are pretty funny

I have no doubt, those that have left bad reviews do so on just about everything in life. They are always complaining, whining and need a pacifier like my one year old. Rather then take a step back and evaluate things, they resort to trying to make a bad name for a company. I can't stand people like this. The fact is NO other alarm company has anywhere near the capabilities comcast is currently offering. I would say about 95% of the time, all the extra bells and whistles I purchased for our system work great. The alarm part has never had an issue. The fact they have an app is already way ahead of the competition. If these morons would call a service technician, they would find out like I did that your Comcast alarm modem must be connected DIRECTLY to your Comcast Internet modem. Initially, mine was connected to my wifi router and although it worked, the cameras wouldn't work on the iPhone app. Once corrected, it works great!

Really enjoy the system and app. Of course it's not perfect but they seem to have regular updates and try and address issues and add things.

The time zones displayed on the app logs is whatever zone your phone is in instead of your local system... Wish they would fix that because I travel a lot for work and it becomes very confusing. The app should always display logs in local system time.

I wish you could set notification rules using the app and they were sent using push notifications. I don't like using the full website to do that. Also the rules setting is very restrictive. I would like to set a rule of the garage door is open for longer than 15 minutes the system sends a text or push notification to me... As my garage sensors is set to 24hr monitor.

But these issues are just minor. Overall it's a very responsive, dependable and intuitive app. But hope they continue to evolve and improve it.

That's why I install camera T home since I got the camera I haven't see a video when I need to look for something happen.
Example:some one throw garbage and cloth in my mail box/ and some one was nocking the door at 1am/ same week a black man was opening my door car... All does thing NEVER CATCH A video. Was no video no picture to show POLICE.
My question Is ? WHY WE DO HAVE CAMERA IN OUR HOUSE IF IS NOT DOING THE WRIGT JOB FOR EVERYBODY. Customer service said change the RULE/ I did still doing nothing for me now I set up the rule what they recommend me (5pm-6am ) star record every 5min per (15sec.) I hope now I can catch some one.

Having this system has added the much needed peace of mind that I desired. I've lived in two other apt complexes & there were evidence @ both that someone was entering my apt after I leave for work. I contacted the rental ofc & they denied it even though I mentioned that I placed my business card between the door & frame & it would on the flr when I return home. Now, I feel more confident when I leave home & the rental ofc now, has to contact me before entering. Plus, I can arm it from work when I forget, however, it did arm itself as "away" once, unless I spaced out. Now, if you can create an app to quiet down the noisy neighbors. LOL

We all known Comcast is expensive, however in my opinion bar none they have the best service. If you take advantage of all the technology they offer it makes life easy and makes you and your family feel safe and secure. There's nothing better than going to sleep at night knowing your protected with there security system or being away from home and seeing live feeds of your home. Being away and having the ability to turn on lights or adjust, adjust your thermostat or record or even watch your favorite Tv program or movie. I would highly recommend it if you don't mind paying the expense.

This app is so easy to use! I love being able to turn my alarm on and off from anywhere! When I'm late in the morning, I can turn on the alarm and turn off the lights from the train. When I'm on my way home I can check the video camera to see if anyone is out in front of my house (I live in the city). When I come home late at night, I can turn on the lights from the cab so it looks like someone's already home when I get there. Not to mention being able to turn the air up and down. Comcast really knocked this one out of the Phillies ballpark. 2 Thumbs Up!

This Xfinity Home App is very user friendly, you can quickly access the video feed, alarm logs and account info with a few clicks. I use the App as my primary method of arming and disarming the alarms because it is so easy and convenient. It's actually more reliable than the keypad in the house. Only issues occur when there are network issues, which has been maybe 3 times in the past 18 months. Each release makes the system easier to use and adds more stability. I'd recommend this to all friends and family.

Love, love, LOVE this app! Perfect for my fiancée and I to watch our home when we are gone. I feel safer knowing that I am protected. I love that I can view the camera anytime, anyplace, and take pictures or video right there from the camera screen on the app. I also love that it records any time the motion or door sensor is tripped and takes pictures and video the instant there is any unauthorized movement. So far no errors or bugs that I have seen. Wonderful program! Would recommend to others.

It was a little difficult to set up but once I got the hang of it. It's easy breezy. I do wish there was sound but I love it! I'm trying to find out how to order more parts to add to my home security. Another camera and window monitor would be great. I recommend it to all my friends. We all have animals and their next to having children for us so checking up on them is important through out our days. This app allows me to. Thanks for a affordable home surveillance system.

This system is great. I saw the reviews that had a negative review. If you take the short time to lean how to use the systems you'll be happy. Plus you need to make sure your codes are programmed in correctly by the Comcast representatives. If there not you'll have issues. My only disappointment is the cost for the service which I think is high. My cost per month for phone,cable,Internet,alarm is very high. COMCAST should adjust their fees for loyal customers like me.

I just had the System installed on October 23, 2015, and so far it works flawlessly. I was leery after reading some of the reviews, but my experience been the opposite, is the system is working the way it was designed; I know there was a recent update to the app, and maybe that fixed the issues, but I'm able to do anything I need to do from the app, including view the camera. I'm happy with the system so far, and I don't regret the decision.

I'll admit when I very first got the service and this app, the app really didn't work, however I got an update and it works perfectly! I am able to disarm my window sensor due to my a/c unit and then arm the home all from the app. I rarely even use the touch screen. Over all the service works great, I've accidentally tripped the alarm and it is loud! Lol. And I am pleased with the app!!

I love the ability to review motion by when the camera detected the motion event. The only drawback is adjusting the sensitivity. There are only two sensitivity options, one for indoor and the other for outdoor use. The cameras are very sensitive and detect minute movements, so there are a lot of detections to review. I personally prefer this, to over detect than under.

It is a great system and recommend it highly.

I liked it before, but I like it better with the motion-sensing cameras. Now, it provides the security I wanted. It also does well for a couple of light, a smoke alarm upstairs and downstairs, and a thermostat. I have no problem with it in general. The camera modem is the only weak link. I have gone through two of them. They took care of it as far as service goes. I like everything bundled and using the various apps.

This app is very useful when forgetting to arm the system after leaving the house or when going to bed and you don't wanna get up I can just do it from my phone.

It's great to be able to look in at my house and make sure the dogs are doing okay or notified when something opens or closes.

Very very happy with the app and security itself helping with peace of mind knowing everything is well at home and protected.

The app loads quickly. The camera feed always loads within 15 seconds. Push notifications would be a good idea but text, email and phone calls all work. The cameras work on 2.4 GHz so be aware of how much wifi interference is around (there are apps that will answer these questions). No one can control wifi so if it's congested in your neighborhood wireless cameras may have issues no matter who you go through

When I was offered this it was a part of a package deal it was either this or a home phone I'm so glad I went this route because of the present living situation I have this fits the bill to exactly what the situation calls for I can monitor my bedroom why I am away and it makes me feel secure knowing if someone where to enter my bedroom why I am away I get a alert as well as a video recording.

We got it since September 2015 right after we moved into our new home. We are glad that we decided to put a home security system. We haven't had any problems. Also very happy because 3 different family members that live in different suburbs got robe with in a year and half. We didn't want to be the next one. Xfinity home security system in our home.
