This app has changed my life in Japan. Love it, I use it every day and I'm so grateful to whoever designed and keeps upgrading it. What I love most about this app is that it doesn't only translate things for you, but it teaches you to translate them by yourself as you learn new kanjis and words.

I'd like a feature to be added though, I want to select more than one character from lists to my bookmarks without having to go in and select them one by one. So instead of studying hundreds of new kanjis at the time, I could select the ones I want to study straight from lists. Thank you.

The layout that shows definitions with your pasted text is excellent. Appreciate the used of furigana with the kanji. J>E input can be done with either kana or romaji, so no need to switch IME. Useful for either students of Japanese or for basic translation work. Examples of the searched items can be quite extensive allowing one to understand meanings and usage through repetition. Have purchased numerous dictionaries over the past several years. This is the best one I've come across so far and keep it on tray/dock of my iPhone and iPad.

This is the perfect tool for students and professionals, and is a tremendous value compared with the expensive name-brand publishing houses. First and foremost, the number of entries and examples puts this at the top of the list for coverage. Secondly, links to kanji, multiple lookup methods, the number of useful features makes this the most powerful Japanese dictionary available for iOS. This is a must-have app.

漢字の筆順が付いた和英辞典て珍しいと思う。
個人的には付録（リスト）の外来語を楽しませてもらっている。製作者さん由来なのか、ロシア語が充実。海の幸系単語はほぼ理解できて、お腹が減ってくる。アイヌ語も結構載っている。知ってそうで知らなかったんだな、と改めて思った。

Everything about this app is great. Simple, intuitive interface. Almost instant searches. The handwriting for Kanji is the best I've used from the App Store. It has a huge variety of settings for customisation.

The app gets regular feature updates, go to the developers website to ask for more. I've even had a features I asked for implemented.

I’ve been using Midori for over a decade now, and love the new camera feature (hopefully it can read vertical text soon).

Feature request: It would be nice to be able to search a list and bookmark/export the results. I can paste a list into the Translate section, but cannot bulk save/export the definitions.

Every word in Japanese has a binary pitch accent measured in HIGHs and lows… and since many words share the same pronunciation, the pitch pattern discriminates the target meaning.

The new update now includes this feature, so now I don’t need to look up pitch patterns on the internet anymore. Thank you!!!

Midori app is very useful for me! This app contains so many features. I don't regret I bought this app because this app is worth its price! I'm studying Japanese through Kumon Japanese Language Program and Midori app is my number one choice in accompanying my Japanese studying. Midori app is the best!

Since I started to study Japanese language with iPhone and iPad I made used of several dictionaries and study tools. But when I came across with this one I forgot about all other apps.
It has a lot of useful features (i.e., sample sentences can talk); it is often updated and enhanced.

I highly recommend this app! I've been using it for more than two years and it has been a game changers. It's designed well and has a lot of great features! I especially love the ability to save and organize vocabulary/example sentences into lists that I can go back review at anytime.

This is just too dope! Just bought it a few minutes ago and can't live without it already! Was using a half assed dictionary which uses chinese handwriting recognition up until now. But this one is different, it's got it's own built-in Japanese Handwriting recog! Great stuff!

This app keeps getting better and better. They actively listen to comments and suggestions and continuously update it to add useful new features. This is a must have for any student of Japanese. Thank you so much.

Amazing app that I use on a daily basis. Couldn't live without it. Would be very nice to have iCloud syncing available as bookmarks are deleted with each update it seems. Please keep up the great work otherwise.

Exactly what I was looking for. Was using ShinKanji before Midori and I can say Midori absolutely blows it out of the water.
It's very fast, responsive and looks polished.

This is the best Japanese dictionary app on iOS platform. You can not only look up words and names, but also translate a whole article on it. You can bookmark words and add notes to them.

App not displaying words correctly after iOS 11 upgrade. Please check and make changes.

Issue happening only when the word has characters less than 4. There is no issue with long words.

I use it on a daily basis. It is perfect. It does everything I want it to. I can write in English letters or I can write in Japanese. It understands everything. I highly recommend it.

The app contains so many vocabularies, especially of speaking language. I love that I can easily search for people name. Bookmarks and offline dictionary are also very helpful

I ditched my japanese electronic dictionary for this app, that's how good it is
