When I got the tablet form I wasn't sure I could adapt to settling in for the night with my good "read" with a glass of wine. My guilty pleasure has been, for more years than I care to count, a "night in with People and a glass (or two ) of wine". It's always worked well, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? And I wasn't sure I wanted to give up the rustling of the papers which added to the ambience of the "comfy night home " experience. I am very much a creature of habit.

However the tablet form arrived a day earlier than the paper copy and I was curious!. I had to open it, and from the first page I was captured. The pictures are more intense and bring a clarity usually reserved for the big screen to the magazine, plus it is loaded with extra features, giving me much ore reading! Impressed ? Oh Yeah!.

I waited for two weeks before committing to a review, because I did not want this to be a case of fascination with the first edition I'd seen. I can now, having seen it three times, state that the quality is maintained throughout all issues and formats. I endorse the tablet form of People magazine wholeheartedly and and only wish I'd found it earlier! Bring it on, People!

This app and the digital magazine are the best I have seen so far for the iPad. The digital copy is the full magazine with many many extras. So many I am still on the first issue after 3 days.

FINALLY a digital version of something that does not cost extra for current subscribers!!! So if your already a subscriber everything is free and included for you. It does take a good bit of time to download depending on your connection so be patient.

If yout not a subscriber like every other digital magazine, you pay per issue for it. If you like the magazine but dont subscribe I would recommend buying atleast one issue to try. Its really that good IMO.

After reading the negative reviews on this app I set my expectations low. However, so far, I'm impressed. I signed up for a 3 month subscription of the hard cover version of People to test this app out without having to pay $3.99 per issue. It really IS stupid that you cannot just subscribe to the digital version.
Anyhow..the loggin process went smoothly and the latest issue downloaded in about 15 minutes over WIFI. People looks great on the iPad!
Just make sure you turn off auto-lock in the iPad's settings before you download an issue and you should be fine. Recommended!

This app is so well designed, and it works, every time! The colors are gorgeous and the programming makes the app a joy to use. The extras included in each digital issue add features that make it even better. Try it, you will love it!

After working out a few kinks in the initial set-up... This app is a favorite!!! All the extra perks of more pictures, extra side notes of articles, video, and song samples make the initial setup worth it!

I have been reading PEOPLE Magazine for years and was happy when they came out with the digital version! The colors are brilliant and there are more things to see and read than the hard copy! Fantastic!!

Fantástic & Waunderful Mag app!!! I'm a reader fan since years ago and decided better a subscription instead of wandering'n the stores searching the mag. Congratulations to the People's Team!!!

The app is great in all aspects except navigation. It jumps you from article to article and you are never sure you have read it all. A list of articles not clicked on would be helpful.
