Sudoku″ [iPad]

This app is to sudoku as Kindle is to an actual book, namely, not a bunch of worthless graphics cluttering up the screen. In addition to being spared the annoyance of a bunch of clutter, it means that the game grid and numbers are really big, which I appreciate.

Well worth the purchase. [Edit: One big request to the developers - please create a 'red light' aka 'night time' setting which eliminates the blue light and dims the screen. I love playing this before bed but shouldn't because it's bad for my eyes and brain to be staring at the blue light screen. A nighttime feature would be incredibly valuable.]

Of all the popularly downloaded sudoku apps, this is my favorite as it has a lot of assist options that you can turn off so that you can have pretty much the same sudoku experience as you would with a pen & paper version. I'm not a big fan of all the other sudoku apps that automatically alerts you when & where you made a mistake and yet doesn't give you an option to turn those assists off.

I changed iPods recently because I lost the other one, and I waded through several other apps to find this one, the one I loved so much on the old iPod.

Best sudoku option for me a long time player. Once you get the hang if how the developer approached whether you're entering numbers or notes the game is really smooth. I feel that some options for how the app treats cell state and input options would make it more comfortable at first.

This is a nice setup where the more experienced players can choose harder levels and not become bored. But the beginners can still get the help that they need with understanding this game. I am teaching my Autistic son to play;) he is catching on slowly. It is a great way to relax.
