I have been a paying member of Crunchyroll for over 2 years now and it has really been one of my favorite ways to watch the Anime I love on my PC. Not only is the monthly fee extremely reasonable it has all of the Anime titles I love to watch when a new episode is released each week. Not to mention their releases are two hours after the episode has aired in Japan! To make matters even better, they have created and released an app for the iPhone to make my Anime viewing pleasure complete! I've never experienced any of the trouble previous reviewers have stated, so my only guess is that they either don't have a paid membership or they have not restarted their iPhone/iPod after downloading this free app.

I cannot possibly recommend the services Crunchyroll offers enough to anyone who does not use their services to watch hundreds of Anime titles, which are also updated each week with new episodes. So if you love to watch Anime, and also want to watch the most current episodes of countless Anime titles, then I highly recommend becoming a paid member to their service. You certainly won't regret the decision, other than having waited so long to watch the countless Anime titles you love!

If you are a fan of a variety of anime then crunchyroll should be your go-to app. It has a wide selection at very high quality (source quality) with good subtitles. Every now and then I have connections issues or videos/profile not loading properly but it is usually a consistent app.

People, if you have an issue with ads then pay for the service. They need money to run, they aren't just going to stream anime for free. Grow up and get a job so you can afford their oh-so-expensive $6.99/month premium content.

Also, to the people complaining about them not having the anime they are planning to watch... Are you serious? You clearly dont understand how the industry works. If you want a bigger selection, go pay for Funimation instead of using that to justify giving this app a 1 star rating. The selection they have is VERY good and they usually air a decent portion of seasonal shows. The only thing they may be lacking is a few classics from the 90s but thats a whole different story.

Overall a great app. I have been a premium user for almost 3 years and I have never regretted the decision. Highly recommend.

This app is one of my top favorite 5 apps that I cannot live without. In the 4 months I've used it daily and it has yet to crash on me, which is crazy. The selections are great and plenty, plus new shows are added often. The layout of the app itself is very easy to use and to stay on top of all the shows you're watching in your queue, and also which episode you're coming up on next for those times you switch back and forth between different shows. The one and only thing I would really say is a negative at this point is that there are no English dubs. The English dubs really come in handy when I'm introducing my nieces (9 and 5 years old) to some really amazing shows, and they just can't read that fast yet to be able to keep the pace. Plus sometimes when commuting from work home it's too difficult to read the subs with the motion from the bus/cab, so that's another great reason for English dubs. Anyway the English dubs would just be a bonus to an already amazing app, I give it a 9.5 and recommend this app 100% to anyone and everyone not only for your iPhone/iPad but home gaming devices and your computer.

I just love watching on Crunchyroll! The only fact that gets me down is that it doesn't have any way to organize my watch list. To do that, I would always have to go on a computer to do so and that is sometimes frustratingly hassling. I really like for the mobile app to have that feature too and not only that but also be able to easily order the list without having to only move each to the very top every time but to be able to move them right to where I want to put them.

Other than that, I don't like old episodes being taken off because for some, I haven't gotten passed that point yet and then suddenly the section of episodes are missing! gone! poof! and then I would have to look for another place to watch them from. One anime I know has this problem is Fairy Tail, in the 1st season at episodes 13 through 48...Please don't continue doing that or if that's not the case, then please fix it? Thanks (;

I think this is the very best app to watch anime. But descriptions need to be better and the comments should be able to be used and seen. Some animes do not appear on the app version. So for the computer I save it on my queue and then head back to my mobile device. Haha! :) anyways here's one bug for you that kills me. While watching and in the middle of watching it randomly out of no where, heads back to the beginning and when you try to forward it doesn't. That really gets on my nerve. And another one is while watching it, the quality suddenly gets horrible. That goes for the graphics and even the volume. Fix that. I know it's because of the low connection but seriously it shouldn't do that anyways. Anyways you also need add some ratings so us anime addicts could make sure we don't watch some disappointing anime. Thanks. A huge fan of crunchy roll and other amazing animes. Alondra. <3

I started using this app in the summer, in which I watched Sailor Moon Crystal, Say I Love You, and a few others, this app has allot great Anime series, if u r an Anime Freak like I am, u will love this app.

There is nothing for me to complain about except that it doesn't have everything. Even then they have more than enough to satisfy anyone. One addition I would personally like is groupings for shows in your queue. I have been using Crunchyroll for about a year know and know my way around my queue, but they should give you the ability to have groups so your favorite anime's are together or so future shows, that won't come out in a while, don't get removed cause they take up space. Some people may just think I'm lazy but I watch about 15 series at a time with 1 finished series at a time. I don't have time to sort through all my old anime and new ones. If this addition was added to Crunchyroll it could allow viewers to personalize their queue to fit their needs.

This app is one of my 3 favorite apps of 2014! Although, I'd like to request that you add some new anime every couple of weeks or so. You can't have all the same anime forever.

I'd also like to request you update the free trial anime every year, depending on the year the person logs in. It's because, most of the anime I got on free trial I'm not even interested in. And maybe put some kind of signal showing which anime you have free trial on. Please?! ☺️ (And also, update the commercials; most of them are repeating too many times. I understand it's marketing and all, but at least find new adds to show.

I've had this app for a while and I'm also a premium member, the app is awesome most the new popular shows are coming out or have some of the episodes out at the moment fairy tail picked back up where it left of, no game no life has some episodes and is ongoing, sword art online 2 is coming out July 5th can't wait! And many more anime's. I use this app everyday and I'm pleased with it along with using it on my xbox 360 and it also now has chrome cast. If you're reading this review you should get this app and become a premium member and it's not to expensive. Amazing app all together keep up the good work

I'm a long time subscriber to CR, and I've been using the app on my ipad and phone for nearly two years now. Any issues that've come up, the support team handles efficiently. 5 stars for great service and a quality app. A feature I do wish I had available to me (both in the app and for my roku) is an option to turn on auto-play. I enjoy marathoning a few episodes or more if I have the time, and it would be fantastic to have the option of streaming to the next episode without having to go through menu options again. Lazy, right? Still nice to have, though.
