Finally an ereader with the support not only of other big names, but of Borders, too! I'm a fan of Borders over B&N, so this app has a great selection of books to choose from -- over 2 million books! The app brings together some of the best of all the ereader in the app store and present things in a much more Apple-ish style: polished, fluid, making the user experience pleasant and simple. I loved the Iceberg reader, but just couldnt find the content I was looking for. That's also a great ereader app, but they're currently stymied by a lack of content. I'm willing to repurchase content through Kobo to keep my experience beautiful and consistent.

I've used several e-readers and find Kobo the most transparent, easiest to use and organize, and most quick to respond to questions or problems. I am a die hard Apple user but lost some respect for them when they hit low and made it more difficult to use existing e-readers when iBooks came out. If iBooks couldn't compete, they should have worked on it until it was ready for fair competition. I can access Kobo on my iPad and have access to my entire library any time.

This bookstore in Oxford, MS home of William Faulkner and Ole Miss is where I have always bought my books during college days, after, and for any gifts ! Very Pleased With My Kobo App

I am happy with the Kobo app and have had no problems. I use it as a secondary account , because I buy most of my books from Kindle due to price and selection. To be fair, I use my Kindle account with my US address and my Kobo account with my Canadian address, which probably explains the difference in prices and selection. The app itself, however, compares favourably with my Kindle app.
