Orientation Week Leiden (OWL) is the introduction week for new international students at Leiden University. Organised twice every year, it kicks of the autumn semester – with the Summer OWL in August – and spring semester – with the Winter OWL in January. OWL introduces students to their new city, their faculty and the rich student life Leiden has to offer through a fun and varied programme. The Orientation Week Leiden was first held in 2013. Ever since, thousands of students have launched their journey in the Netherlands at OWL.

This is the official OWL app. It gives you the possibility to access the programme, find important – student – information and chat with your group and fellow OWL participants wherever you go. With the OWL app, you have all of Leiden in your pocket.
