Tafheem-ul-Quran (English: تفہيم القرآن, "Towards the Understanding of Qur'an") written by Islamic scholar Syed Abul Ala Maududi. Maulana Maududi took 30 years to finish the work. Maulana Maududi uses the standard technique of providing an explanation of the Quranic verses from the Sunah of Messenger of Allah (PBUH), including the historical reasons behind the verses. This Tafseer deals extensively with issues faced by the modern world in general and the Muslim community in particular. It was completed 50 years before but readers will always feel the work is written some days before, the beauty of the writings of Moulana Maududi. Maulana Maududi has written more than 100 different books and all his writings are seem masterpiece.

About the Author

Zafar Ishaq Ansari (ﻇﻔﺮﺍﺳﺤﺎﻖ اﻧﺻﺎﺭﻯ‎) (27 December 1932 – 24 April 2016) was a scholar of Islamic Studies. He was the Director General of the Islamic Research Institute of the International Islamic University. Previously, he was the President of the International Islamic University Islamabad. He has published books and articles, and has spoken at international conferences on Islamic Studies and inter-religious dialogue.  He studied at University of Karachi before going to Canada for his higher studies He was also associated with Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba
