Mio - Learning Games for Kids [iPad]

MIO is a fun learning app with speech therapy exercises designed for kids aged 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 years old. Developed in collaboration with speech therapists and teachers, it aims to help children improve through rewarding exercises.

SPEECH THERAPY APP

The app is designed to transform “Speech therapy into an interesting game”. Each speech therapy exercise has a special game card with fascinating animation that ensures a child’s interaction with an app.

Speech therapy exercises develop articulation in children. Regular practice will quickly help them begin to pronounce sounds and words.

Take for instance, the “Eating Pizza” game cards for language therapy. When a child starts repeating the speech therapy exercise (opening the mouth – eating a slice of pizza), the camera is used as a game interface, allowing children to perform exercises with precision as they see themselves alongside the video instructions.

The exercises also help develop the pronunciation of sounds such as s, r, l, t, and others, addressing difficulties children may face. The application aims to prevent the development of issues like Apraxia and Dyslexia.

With a speech therapist, we created an effective speech exercise plan and training sets for children.
